We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this family in their time of transition and uncertainty. Father God, we know that You are the Author of all things, and nothing escapes Your sovereign hand. You have promised in Your Word, *"For I know the plans I have for you," says the Lord, "plans for welfare, and not for evil, to give you hope and a future"* (Jeremiah 29:11). We stand on this promise today, believing that You are working all things together for good for this family, even when the path ahead seems unclear.
Lord, we ask that You would remove the fog of uncertainty that has lingered over them for these past months. Your Word tells us, *"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight"* (Proverbs 3:5-6). We pray that You would make their next steps unmistakably clear, guiding them with Your peace and wisdom. Open doors that no man can shut, and close doors that are not part of Your perfect will. Bring buyers who are ready and willing to make fair and timely offers, so that this family may move forward without unnecessary delay.
We also ask, Father, that You would strengthen their hearts and minds during this season. The weight of hard decisions and the stress of selling a home can be overwhelming, but You have not given us a spirit of fear. Instead, You have given us *"a spirit of power, love, and self-control"* (2 Timothy 1:7). Fill them with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guarding their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Remind them daily that You are in control, and that Your timing is perfect.
Lord, we also lift up any fears or anxieties they may be carrying. Your Word tells us, *"Casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you"* (1 Peter 5:7). Help them to release their burdens to You, trusting that You will sustain them. Give them the courage to step forward in faith, even when the future feels uncertain. Surround them with Your presence, reminding them that they are never alone.
We rebuke any spirit of doubt or confusion that may be trying to take root in their hearts. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life abundantly (John 10:10). We declare that this family is covered by the blood of Jesus, and no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We speak clarity, peace, and provision over their situation in the mighty name of Jesus.
Finally, Lord, we ask that You would use this season of transition to draw this family closer to You. May they seek Your face more fervently, and may their trust in You grow deeper with each passing day. Prepare their hearts for the new chapter ahead, and let this move be a testimony of Your faithfulness to all who witness it.
We pray all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen.
