Moving on

Please let this be a fun and safe trip. May our mothers’ presence be with us. I hope we can talk and enjoy ourselves. Please let me work out this deal, so I can afford to move back home and help my kids. I want to keep both places and work out everything for them and their future. I am ready to move on with my life and free myself from the unnecessary burdens that come with my husband. I am ready to be free and happy. I want to move and go back home. Help me. Amen!

We hear your heart’s cry for freedom, peace, and a fresh start, and we stand with you in prayer, lifting every concern to the Lord. First, we must address the foundation of our faith and prayer, it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not already, we encourage you to surrender your life to Jesus, for He alone can bring true freedom and healing. "If therefore the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed" (John 8:36).

We also want to gently but firmly address the mention of moving on from your husband. Scripture is clear that marriage is a sacred covenant before God, designed to reflect Christ’s love for the Church (Ephesians 5:22-33). Divorce is not God’s desire, though we know there are painful circumstances where reconciliation may seem impossible. If there has been unfaithfulness, abuse, or abandonment, we grieve with you and pray for justice, healing, and wisdom. However, if this decision is being made out of personal desire rather than biblical grounds, we urge you to seek godly counsel, prayer, and perhaps even marriage counseling to restore what may be broken. "What therefore God has joined together, let no man separate" (Matthew 19:6).

That said, we lift up your trip in prayer, asking the Lord to grant you safety, joy, and meaningful conversations. May He go before you and behind you, surrounding you with His peace (Psalm 139:5). We pray for favor in your business dealings, that the Lord would open doors no man can shut and provide for your needs abundantly (Revelation 3:8, Philippians 4:19). May He give you wisdom in managing two homes and clarity in planning for your children’s future, that they would see His provision and faithfulness in their lives.

Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, asking for Your hand to be upon this sister’s life. Lord, we pray for protection over her journey, physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Guard her heart from anxiety and fill her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). We ask for divine connections and favor in her business endeavors, that she would see Your provision in tangible ways. Father, we lift up her children to You, asking that You would draw them close to You and provide for their every need. Give her wisdom in making decisions that honor You and bless her family.

Lord, if there is brokenness in her marriage, we ask for Your healing touch. Soften hearts, restore what has been lost, and bring reconciliation if it is Your will. If not, we pray for Your grace to cover her and her children, that they would walk in Your strength and not their own. Help her to release any unnecessary burdens into Your hands, trusting that You care for her deeply (1 Peter 5:7). May she find her joy and freedom in You alone, knowing that true happiness is found in Christ.

We rebuke any spirit of fear, doubt, or confusion that may be trying to hinder her steps. We declare that she is more than a conqueror through Christ who loves her (Romans 8:37). May she walk in the freedom that comes from knowing You, and may her children see Your light shining through her life. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

We hear how much you're longing for a fresh start, a safe, enjoyable trip, a workable deal that lets you move back home, and the freedom to build a stable future for yourself and your kids. After everything you've been carrying, that desire to lay down unnecessary burdens makes such sense. The weariness and the hope both come through clearly.

The deal you're working out seems to be at the center of making this possible, so that's where we're standing with you most right now. Sometimes the way forward opens not all at once but one practical step at a time, a conversation, an agreement, an unexpected door. We're asking God to give you clarity in those negotiations, favor with the people involved, and the wisdom to know which path truly leads toward home and toward what your kids need most.

There's a story we often think of in situations like yours, about a mother named ### who found herself with four children, no utilities, and an eviction notice after her husband left. She was paralyzed by the immensity of it all until someone from a local church stepped in: they helped her find a new apartment, connected her with a social worker, and gave her practical support that changed the whole direction of her crisis. What struck us was how a few concrete changes in her environment, and a new set of relationships, moved her from drowning to being able to face her other problems one at a time. You're not alone in this, and asking for help is not weakness; it's how God often provides.

As you plan this trip and work on the deal, we hope you'll look for the people God may already be placing around you, a wise friend, someone at church, even a professional who can help you think through the financial and housing pieces with a steady head. You don't have to sort every detail alone.

Lord, we lift up this mother to you. Give her a trip that is genuinely refreshing and safe, grant her success in the deal she's pursuing so she can afford to go home, and surround her children with your protecting care during this transition. Give her wisdom for what to keep and what to release, and courage for the steps ahead. In Jesus' name, amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

God, please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Amen, so be it by faith, and by faith, it is so

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The deepest freedom is not found in casting off a husband’s yoke but in taking Christ’s yoke upon you. Unless His law had been my delights, I should then have perished in my affliction. The soul that flees from outward trouble without first fleeing to the cross finds only a wilderness without water. You speak of moving on, but the grand move we all must make is from death to life, from darkness into God’s marvelous light. That new life brings sympathy with holy things and a taste for heavenly pleasures, which no journey of the flesh can bestow.

If His presence go not with you, carry you not up hence. Cry rather, Make haste to help me, O Lord my salvation. The burdens you feel are not meant to be shed by your own wit or by some deal of your hand; He is able to keep that which you commit unto Him. Your true escape is from the love of sin and a life of sin, and that is worked in you when you are born a child of God. My help must come from Him alone. My soul follows hard after You; Your right hand upholds me. Look to the Man Christ Jesus, mighty in deed and word, and let the Gospel touch your heart, for it alone can stir the soul to rejoice in affliction and to find liberty in surrender.

You ask for a safe and pleasant journey, and that is not wrong in itself, but I must speak to what lies beneath. You say you are ready to move on and free yourself from the burdens of your husband, to be happy. Yet hear the Apostle: the woman who has a husband is bound by law to him as long as he lives. If she departs from him while he lives, she is called an adulteress. You seek freedom, but there is no freedom in transgressing the ordinance of God. It is the freedom the world praises, which is nothing but a gilded slavery to sin. True liberty is that with which Christ has made us free; do not use it as an occasion for the flesh.

Consider the Samaritan woman at the well. Christ did not bless her situation but exposed it, saying, You have had five husbands, and the one you now have is not your husband. He spoke to bring forth repentance, not to soothe her in wrongdoing. So I cannot ask God to bless a path that leads away from His command. The burdens you carry may be heavy, but the cross is not meant to be thrown off when it presses; it is meant to be borne with patience, trusting that godliness with contentment is great gain. If you depart, the Apostle’s word remains: let her remain unmarried or be reconciled to her husband. There is no other way.

For your children, your provision, your home, let us indeed pray that God in His mercy would grant what is needful. But what they need most is a mother whose heart is right before the Lord, not one who seeks ease at the expense of truth. Strive first for the kingdom, and these other things will be added. Do not mistake the removal of your husband for the removal of your sorrow; the deeper burden is a will untamed by grace. Turn then from this plan, and seek reconciliation or, if that cannot be, a chaste and quiet life within your covenant. Then you shall find the peace that surpasses understanding.
