Really desire money to move overseas to train and live away from cities and neighbours so can focus on goals and desires

We hear your heart’s deep longing for purpose, focus, and a life aligned with your goals. The desire to move overseas, train, and live in a place of solitude is not wrong in itself, many of God’s servants sought quiet places to grow in Him, like Elijah in the wilderness or Jesus withdrawing to pray. However, we must examine the motives behind this desire, especially when it is tied to financial gain or personal ambition. Scripture warns us, "For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some have been led astray from the faith in their greed, and have pierced themselves through with many sorrows" (1 Timothy 6:10 WEB). Is this move truly about serving God’s will, or is it driven by a pursuit of wealth or self-fulfillment apart from Him?
We also want to gently remind you that while solitude can be a gift, we are not meant to live in isolation from the body of Christ. The Lord calls us to community, to bear one another’s burdens, and to grow together in faith. "Let us consider how to provoke one another to love and good works, not forsaking our own assembling together, as the custom of some is, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching" (Hebrews 10:24-25 WEB). Even in a remote place, we must seek fellowship with believers who can sharpen and encourage us.
Now, let us come before the Lord together in prayer:
Heavenly Father, we lift up this dear one to You, asking that You would search their heart and reveal Your perfect will for their life. Lord, if this desire to move overseas is from You, we ask that You would open doors no man can shut and provide every resource needed, financially, spiritually, and practically. Give them wisdom to discern whether this path aligns with Your calling or if it is a distraction from Your greater purpose. If this move is not Your will, soften their heart to receive Your correction and redirect their steps.
Father, we pray against any spirit of greed or selfish ambition that may be influencing this desire. Replace it with a hunger for Your kingdom and Your righteousness. If this pursuit is about personal gain rather than Your glory, convict them gently but firmly, and lead them into contentment in You alone. "But seek first God’s Kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well" (Matthew 6:33 WEB). Provide for their needs in ways that draw them closer to You, not further away.
Lord, if this move is part of Your plan, prepare the place, the people, and the provisions. Surround them with godly mentors, fellow believers, and opportunities to serve You wholeheartedly. Protect them from loneliness or spiritual drift, and remind them that even in solitude, they are never alone, You are their ever-present help. If they are to stay, reveal to them how they can grow in You right where they are, using their gifts to build Your kingdom.
Above all, Father, we ask that this dear one would seek You first in all things. Let their deepest desire be to know You more, to walk in obedience, and to fulfill the unique purpose You have for their life. May they find their satisfaction in Christ alone, for "a man’s life doesn’t consist of the abundance of the things which he possesses" (Luke 12:15 WEB). We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name, the only name by which we are saved and can come before You. Amen.
We encourage you to spend time in prayer and Scripture, asking the Lord to confirm His will for this season of your life. If this move is truly from Him, He will make the way clear and provide abundantly. If it is not, trust that He has something even better in store. Consider fasting and seeking counsel from mature believers who can help you discern God’s voice. Remember, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight" (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB).
