Mother

We rejoice with you that the Lord has brought you to a place of peace regarding your mother, for that peace is a gift from Him. Jesus said, Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you, not as the world gives, give I to you. Do not let your heart be troubled, neither let it be fearful. John 14:27 and again In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7

What you are feeling now is the fruit of entrusting her to God, and to entrust her means to consciously release her into His loving and sovereign hands while you continue to walk in faithfulness. It does not mean we stop loving, honoring, or caring for her, for we are commanded Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long in the land which Yahweh your God gives you. Exodus 20:12. It means we acknowledge that we are not in control of her life, her health, her choices, or her eternal destiny, but God is, and He loves her even more than we do.

To entrust her is to live out Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6. It is to obey the call to cast all your worries on him, because he cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7 and to Cast your burden on Yahweh, and he will sustain you. Psalm 55:22. In practical terms, entrusting her means we pray for her daily and then leave the outcome with God rather than carrying anxiety, we honor her as Scripture calls us to without trying to fix what only God can fix, we forgive any past wounds and release bitterness, and we trust that Yahweh will accomplish what concerns her and will work for her good and His glory even when we cannot see how.

We pray together for you and for your mother now.

Father, in the name of Jesus we thank You for the peace You have given our dear one regarding her mother. We thank You that You are sovereign, merciful, and near to all who call upon You. We entrust this precious mother into Your hands today. We place her life, her health, her heart, and her future fully under Your care. We ask that You surround her with Your protection, comfort her, draw her close to Yourself, and make Your presence known to her. Give our loved one wisdom to continue to honor her mother in a way that pleases You, to love her well, to speak truth in love, and to rest in Your perfect will without striving or fear. Guard this new peace You have given and let it grow as trust in You deepens. In Jesus name we pray, amen.

We encourage you to continue to bring her before the Lord each day by name, to speak blessing over her, and to surrender her anew whenever worry tries to return. Entrusting is not a one time act but a daily walking with the Lord, choosing to trust His character over our circumstances.

We also notice your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ, and we want to gently remind you that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and can truly entrust anyone to Him. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6 and There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12. If you have not already, we encourage you to place your own faith fully in Jesus Christ, believing that He died for your sins and rose again, confessing Him as Lord, for that is the foundation of all peace and of all entrusting. We are walking with you in prayer, trusting that God who has given you peace will also keep you and your mother in His perfect care.

Thank you Heavenly Father for blessing us with another day, and for all you do for all of us. All glory and honor belongs to you Father. I lift this prayer up on your glory Father God and ask that you grant your perfect will. In Jesus name I pray. Amen

“But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him.”

‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭17‬:‭7‬ ‭NIV‬‬

We are grateful to hear you have come to a place of peace regarding your mother, and we understand why you are asking what comes next.

To entrust her does not mean stepping back from love or concern. It means gently shifting the weight you have been carrying. Instead of holding responsibility for her life, her choices, and her future in your own hands, you place her each day into God's hands, trusting that He is both near to her and able to care for her in ways you cannot.

In practice that often looks very ordinary and repeated. Peace does not mean the worries never return. It means when they do, you notice them and release them again. You can continue to love her faithfully, to pray for her, to do what is right and kind in your role as her child, while leaving the outcomes with the Lord who knows her fully and loves her deeply.

A simple next step that helps many is to make that release concrete. When a concern about her rises, pause for a moment and name it to God in your own words, something like "Father, I give my mother to you today," and then return to what is yours to do.

Father, thank You for the peace You have given. We lift this mother to You and ask You to keep her in Your care, to watch over her and draw her close. Give wisdom and quiet strength for each day of loving her well while resting in Your faithful presence. In Jesus' name, amen.

To entrust your mother to the Lord is to place her, deliberately and continually, into the hands of Him who is near to us and who waits to be gracious.

It is not a single act of feeling, but a habit of faith. In one sense you have been enabled to be resigned to this, to settle it in your heart that the Lord does all things well and that all things work together with singular accuracy to accomplish His lofty purpose. To entrust her is to say, it is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man, and therefore you will not lean upon your own care for her, nor upon any arm of flesh, but upon the living God who cared for Elijah in the wilderness and who has promised that He has not forsaken the righteous.

This nearness of God is your comfort. Some think of Him as a far away, mysterious Being who takes no notice of man, but revelation teaches that He is not far from every one of us. He sees your mother where she is, He knows her frame and her need, and He looks out for objects of mercy. To entrust her is to believe this and to act upon it.

How then shall you do it. You shall do it by committing her to God in persistent prayer, as Elijah prayed and sent his servant again to look for the cloud. You shall bring her name before the throne of grace and leave her there, asking that His goodness may lead her to repentance, for His goodness is meant to lead sinners to turn to His Son. If she knows the Saviour, you entrust her preservation and comfort to Him. If she does not yet know Him, you entrust her soul to Him who came to seek and to save that which was lost, remembering that salvation is through Jesus Christ alone and that there is no other name by which we must be saved. You plead that blood which cleanses from all sin, and you leave the time and manner of His working to His wisdom.

To entrust her is also to be at peace and not to fear. As a little child who calls, Mother, are you there, and hearing her answer goes back to his play content, so the believer learns to trust and not to fear. You have committed her to your heavenly Father, you have heard His promise that He will never leave His own, and you may go back to the duties of your own calling with a quiet heart. This does not mean you neglect the honour and love you owe to your mother, for the Lord still calls you to show tenderness and reverence in word and deed, but it means you cease to carry the burden as if all depended upon you.

Continue then in this way. Each day lay her upon the altar before God, ask Him to keep her, to provide for her, to draw her nearer to Christ, and then rest in His care. He will take your part and help you, and in His own time you shall see His faithful hand both toward you and toward her.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Having come to peace regarding your mother is itself a work of God's grace, and to entrust her now means to place her consciously and continually into His hands.

To entrust her does not mean to forget her or to lay aside honor. The commandment remains, Honor thy father and thy mother, and Christ Himself showed how this is fulfilled. He was subject to His parents, He honored His mother in His life, and even in His suffering on the cross He provided for her and committed her to the care of His beloved disciple. That is the pattern for you.

So entrusting her means first, to commit her to God in prayer. As those who waited in the upper room continued with one accord in prayer, so you continue to bring her before the Father, asking for His mercy, His protection, and His saving work in her through Jesus Christ alone. You release the burden of outcomes that you cannot control and ask Him to keep what you have committed to Him.

Second, it means to continue to honor her in love while trusting God with the result. Where there is no hindrance to what belongs to God, honor is your bounden duty, and it is done now not from anxiety or compulsion but from peace and goodwill. You do what love requires, speak truth with gentleness, and leave the rest to the Lord who alone can guard her soul.

Third, it means to rest. Peace is the mother of all good things and the foundation of joy. When you have prayed and done what is right before God, you can rest from carrying her as a weight upon yourself, knowing that the same Lord who reconciled heaven and earth is able to keep her. You keep your heart at peace and let that peace guard your thoughts, returning to prayer whenever concern rises again.

In this way entrusting is not a single moment but a daily practice of prayer, honor, and surrender, believing that God is faithful to care for her far better than you can.
