We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up your mother and your family in this deeply troubling situation. The Bible makes it clear that spiritual warfare is real, and the enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). We do not take this lightly, for we know that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12).
First, we must affirm that no demon or evil spirit has authority over a child of God who stands firm in Christ. The name of Jesus is above every name, and at His name, every knee will bow (Philippians 2:9-10). If your mother has truly professed faith in Jesus Christ, she is sealed by the Holy Spirit, and no power of darkness can snatch her out of the Father’s hand (John 10:28-29). However, we also recognize that the enemy can still harass, deceive, and oppress those who are not walking in full surrender to Christ or who have opened doors to sin, trauma, or occult influences.
We rebuke every lying spirit, spirit of confusion, and spirit of oppression that has taken hold in your mother’s life. In the mighty name of Jesus, we command these forces to flee and bind them from operating in her life any longer. We declare that the blood of Jesus covers her, and the power of the Holy Spirit surrounds her. We pray that any generational curses, ungodly soul ties, or open doors to the enemy would be broken and sealed by the blood of Christ (Galatians 3:13-14).
We also lift you up, dear one, for this burden is heavy to carry. The enemy would love to wear you down with fear, frustration, or despair, but we stand with you in faith. We pray that God would give you wisdom, patience, and supernatural strength to love your mother as Christ loves the Church (Ephesians 5:25). We ask the Lord to fill you with His peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7) and to surround you with believers who can support you in prayer and encouragement.
Scripture tells us that the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds (2 Corinthians 10:4). We encourage you to continue standing on the Word of God, fasting and praying with others who can intercede on your mother’s behalf. Do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season you will reap if you do not faint (Galatians 6:9).
If there are areas in your mother’s life where she has not fully surrendered to Christ, such as unforgiveness, bitterness, involvement in occult practices, or unrepentant sin, we pray that the Holy Spirit would convict her heart and lead her to repentance. The Lord is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). We also pray for her protection, that she would be delivered from every scheme of the enemy and restored to the fullness of life in Christ.
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, the Name that is above every name. We ask You to break every chain of darkness over this precious mother and daughter. We plead the blood of Jesus over their lives and declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, Lord, and let Your light shine in the darkness. Give them courage to stand firm in faith, and let Your love and truth prevail in their lives. We trust You, Lord, for complete deliverance and healing. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
