Faithful Servant
My mother is severely demonized which has resulted in severe mental and behavioral problems. She has been this way all my life. Other people have noticed it is well. I don't know how she got this way (it is likely due to her family history) but she is EXTREMELY demonized. I have been trying to be patient with her in the negative behaviors she exhibits because it's not her fault, she is under demonic influence - some days I do better with that than others. But since I started working at a new job recently, it has become harder to take her behavior because of the way it adds stress to my life on top of the responsibilities of my job. Please pray about all this. Thank you.

We hear your heart and the deep burden you carry for your mother, and we stand with you in fervent prayer before the throne of God. The spiritual battle you describe is real, and the enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy—not only your mother’s mind and soul but also your peace and strength. But we declare that Jesus Christ has already overcome the powers of darkness, and His victory is our assurance. "For he who is in you is greater than he who is in the world" (1 John 4:4).

First, we must address the reality of spiritual warfare with the authority given to us in Christ. Your mother’s condition is not merely a mental or behavioral issue; it is a demonic stronghold that must be broken in the name of Jesus. We rebuke every spirit of confusion, torment, and oppression that has taken hold of her, and we command them to flee in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. "Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you" (James 4:7). This is not a battle you fight alone—it is the Lord’s, and He has equipped you with His Word, His Spirit, and the power of prayer.

We also recognize the toll this takes on you, especially as you navigate the responsibilities of your new job. It is not wrong to feel overwhelmed, but we must guard your heart against bitterness, resentment, or despair. The enemy would love to use this situation to wear you down, but God calls you to cast your cares upon Him because He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). You are not responsible for your mother’s deliverance—that is the work of the Holy Spirit—but you *are* called to stand in faith, love her as Christ loves you, and trust God to move in ways you cannot yet see.

We pray now with boldness and compassion:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, the Name above every name, the One who has all authority in heaven and on earth. Lord, we lift up this dear sister and her mother to You, asking for Your divine intervention. We break every chain of demonic oppression over this mother’s life, and we command every lying spirit, spirit of infirmity, and spirit of confusion to leave her now in Jesus’ name. Fill her with Your Holy Spirit, Lord—let Your light drive out the darkness, and let Your peace guard her heart and mind.

Father, we ask for wisdom and strength for this daughter as she navigates this difficult season. Give her patience beyond her own ability, and let her rest in the assurance that You are fighting for her family. Protect her mind from anxiety and her heart from discouragement. Surround her with godly community that can support and pray with her. Provide moments of respite and joy amid the struggle, and remind her daily that her labor in You is not in vain.

Lord, we also pray for a breakthrough in this mother’s life. If there are generational curses or unrepented sin that has opened doors to the enemy, we ask You to reveal it and bring healing and repentance. Soften her heart to receive Your love and truth, and let her encounter You in a way that transforms her from the inside out. We declare that no weapon formed against her shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against her in judgment, You will condemn (Isaiah 54:17).

Finally, Father, we ask that You would be glorified in this situation. Let Your power be made perfect in weakness, and let Your name be praised as the Deliverer, the Healer, and the Restorer. We trust You to work all things together for good, even when we cannot see the outcome. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to continue standing in faith, even when the battle feels long. Seek out a pastor or mature believers who can pray with you and your mother in person, as there is power in corporate prayer and laying on of hands (Mark 16:17-18). Do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season, you will reap if you do not faint (Galatians 6:9). The Lord sees your sacrifice and your love for your mother, and He will sustain you. Keep your eyes on Jesus, the Author and Perfecter of your faith, and trust that He is working even now.

We're right here with you, sister, holding your hands up in prayer for your dear mother. We understand the weight you carry, and we want you to know you're not alone. We've been praying for you, and we want to encourage you with these words:

First, remember that God sees you and your mother. He knows every struggle, every moment of despair, and every act of love you pour out. He is fighting for you both, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5-6).

Next, keep speaking life and truth into your mother's situation. The enemy may be trying to discourage you, but remember, "Greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world" (1 John 4:4). Keep declaring God's promises over her, and trust that His Word will not return to Him void (Isaiah 55:11).

Lastly, take care of yourself too. It's okay to feel overwhelmed, but make sure you're also taking time for self-care and rest. God is your strength, and He will equip you with all you need to navigate this journey (Isaiah 40:28-31).

We're praying for you both, that God would reveal His power and love in a mighty way. We ask that He would break every chain holding your mother back, and fill her with His Holy Spirit. We also pray for peace and wisdom for you, dear sister, as you walk this path. Trust in the Lord, and lean not on your own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6). He is faithful, and He will see you through.

Keep fighting the good fight, and remember, we're cheering you on every step of the way. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We want to thank you for the trust you placed in us to stand with you in prayer for your mother and the heavy burden you carry. It is clear how deeply you love her and how much this spiritual battle weighs on your heart. We have been lifting her before the throne of grace, asking the Lord to break every chain of demonic influence and to bring His healing power to her mind and spirit. We’ve also prayed for you—that the Holy Spirit would strengthen you with patience, wisdom, and supernatural peace as you navigate this trial, especially with the added pressures of your new job.

If the Lord has moved in a tangible way since you shared this request, we would be so encouraged to hear a praise report. Your testimony could be a source of hope for others walking through similar struggles. If, however, the battle continues and you don’t yet see the breakthrough you’re praying for, please know we are still here to intercede. We invite you to post this as a new request so we can continue to stand in agreement with you, believing God for complete deliverance and restoration.

Above all, we pray that you would feel the Father’s nearness in this season—that He would remind you of His faithfulness, even when the circumstances feel overwhelming. May He fill you with His joy as your strength and give you grace for each day. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
