Beloved of All
Your desire for more quality time with the Lord is a good and right hunger, and it is one that God Himself delights to answer. Everything of the Christian life is tied up in Jesus Christ. As you received Him by faith for the forgiveness of your sins, so you are to walk in Him, rooted and built up in Him, with your whole life centered upon Him. He is not only the foundation, He is the One upon whom you continue to build, and He will keep you and cause you to abound in Him as you stay close to Him with thanksgiving.
Scripture teaches that if you have been raised with Christ, you are to seek those things which are above, where Christ sits at the right hand of God. That seeking is what quality time with Him looks like. It is fellowship with the Father and with His Son Jesus Christ. It is not merely adding more activity to your day, but turning your heart to Him, walking in the light as He is in the light, and knowing that His blood cleanses and His presence remains with you.
You have boldness and access to God through Jesus Christ alone. There is one mediator between God and man, the man Christ Jesus, and through His blood you may come into the presence of God with confidence. In Christ you have already been blessed with every spiritual blessing, and those blessings become real to you as you spend time with Him in His Word and in prayer.
I pray that the Father will draw you into deeper fellowship with His Son. May He quiet your heart and help you to set your mind on things above, to walk rooted in Christ, and to abound with thanksgiving. May He give you a growing love for His Word, a steady habit of prayer, and a clear sense of His nearness, so that your time with Jesus becomes the center and strength of each day. In the name of Jesus Christ, may the Lord keep you in His love and cause your joy to be full as you walk with Him.
