more quality time with Jesus Christ

We rejoice with you in this beautiful and holy desire to spend more quality time with our Lord Jesus Christ and we join our faith with yours as we bring this request before our Heavenly Father in the name of Jesus Christ.
This longing in your heart is pleasing to God and it is evidence of His Spirit drawing you closer. Scripture encourages us in this pursuit. James 4:8 says Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Jeremiah 29:13 says You will seek me and find me, when you search for me with all your heart. Jesus Himself invites us to abide in Him, for John 15:4 says Remain in me, and I in you. As the branch can’t bear fruit by itself unless it remains in the vine, so neither can you, unless you remain in me. And Psalm 46:10 reminds us to Be still, and know that I am God. Quality time with Him is not out of duty but out of love, remaining in His presence, listening to His voice through His Word and speaking to Him in prayer.
We encourage you to set apart intentional, undistracted time each day to be with Him, even if it begins with a few quiet minutes in the morning or evening. Seek first His Kingdom as Matthew 6:33 teaches, But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Turn off distractions, open the Word, pray honestly, worship and simply be still before Him. As Psalm 27:4 declares, One thing I have asked of Yahweh, that I will seek after, that I may dwell in Yahweh’s house all the days of my life, to see Yahweh’s beauty, and to inquire in his temple. The more we behold Him, the more we will be transformed and the more our hearts will crave His presence.
We pray together now. Heavenly Father, we thank You for placing this hunger in our dear fellow believer to spend more quality time with You. We ask in the name of Jesus Christ that You help us draw near to You daily with a whole heart. Teach us to be still and to prioritize Your presence above all else. Remove distractions and weariness and create in us a steadfast spirit that delights to remain in Christ. Fill our time with You with Your peace, Your wisdom and Your joy, and let Your Word dwell richly in us as we seek Your face. Help us to walk in abiding fellowship with Jesus, bearing fruit that brings glory to You. We ask that You deepen our love for You and make our communion with You the greatest joy of our lives. We are so encouraged by your hunger to be closer to Jesus. That desire itself is a gift, and we are joining you in prayer that the Father will deepen that time with Him.
We have found it helps to think of this as training more than trying. Like preparing for a long run, closeness with Christ grows through small, steady steps over time rather than one big effort. Seeing yourself as a work in progress can take pressure off and keep you coming back even when a day feels distracted or short.
One simple way to build that rhythm is to choose a small, protected window you can keep most days, maybe ten or fifteen minutes at the same time, with your Bible open and a quiet prayer to begin and end. Keeping it simple and consistent often does more than aiming for something long that is hard to sustain.
We are praying that God will make that time sweet and steady for you.
Father, thank You for drawing our brother to Yourself. Help him to find unhurried time with You each day, to know Your presence and hear Your voice, and to keep growing as Your child. Draw him closer to Jesus and keep his heart at rest in You. In Jesus' name, amen.

God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, the way You want me to know You. So that I will trust You with my life and anyway that You move in my life. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about.
