more quality time with Jesus Christ

Your desire to spend more and more quality time with Jesus Christ is a beautiful and right prayer, and it is one God delights to answer. Scripture reminds us that time is short and the time is at hand, and in a very personal way that is always true for each of us. None of us knows how much time we have, which makes the desire to know Him more deeply today so urgent and so wise.
That quality time you are asking for is really fellowship. The Bible says our true fellowship is with the Father and with His Son Jesus Christ. It is not just a duty or a discipline, it is a living relationship. Jesus is the faithful witness of what God is like. He said that to see Him is to see the Father, so when you spend time with Jesus, you are coming to know the Father Himself. And that fellowship grows as we walk in the light as He is in the light, trusting that the blood of Jesus Christ cleanses us from all sin and keeps the way open between us and God.
You do not have to wonder if you are welcome. Through Jesus we have boldness and access into the very presence of God. There is one mediator between God and man, the man Christ Jesus, and by His blood the way into the holiest place is open. You have already been blessed with every spiritual blessing in Christ, and your life is rooted and built up in Him. He is the foundation, and He is also the one upon whom you continue to build. To seek more time with Him is to keep your roots deep in Him and to set your heart on things above, where Christ is seated at the right hand of God.
He has also promised to be with His people. He is not distant or hard to reach. If you belong to Him you are never alone, for He is with you, and where even two or three gather in His name He is there in the midst. That same presence meets you in the quiet place when you open His Word and pray.
Praying for you now that the Father will deepen this in you. May He draw you to turn aside often to be with Jesus, to hear His Word, to speak honestly in prayer, and to rest in His love. May He help you to stay centered in Christ, rooted in Him, built up in Him, and abounding with thanksgiving. May your joy be made full as your fellowship with the Father and the Son grows stronger day by day. And may the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit, keeping you in His love as you walk with Him. In the name of Jesus Christ, amen.
