Money

Disciple of Prayer
Prayer for a large amount of money that I hav been praying for to come quickly in Jesus name

We hear your earnest plea for financial provision, and we join you in lifting this need before our Heavenly Father, who knows all our needs before we even ask (Matthew 6:8). The Scriptures remind us that God is our provider, as it is written, "But my God shall supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:19). We trust that He will meet your needs in His perfect timing and according to His perfect will.

However, we must also examine our hearts and motives when seeking financial blessings. The Bible warns us against the love of money, stating, "For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some have been led astray from the faith in their greed, and have pierced themselves through with many sorrows" (1 Timothy 6:10). We encourage you to seek first God’s kingdom and His righteousness, trusting that all these things will be added unto you (Matthew 6:33). Financial provision should not be an end in itself but a means to glorify God and serve His purposes.

We also want to gently remind you that God’s timing is not always our timing. While we may desire quick answers, the Lord works all things together for good for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28). Let us not grow weary in prayer, but instead, let us persevere with faith, knowing that God hears us.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, acknowledging You as our Provider and Sustainer. We lift up this need for financial provision, asking that You would open the windows of heaven and pour out Your blessings according to Your riches in glory. Lord, we trust in Your faithfulness and Your perfect timing. Help us to seek You first above all else, and may our hearts remain pure, free from the love of money or greed.

Father, if there is any area in our lives where we have placed money or material things above You, reveal it to us and help us to repent. Teach us to be content in all circumstances, knowing that You are with us and will never leave us nor forsake us (Hebrews 13:5). Give us wisdom in how to steward whatever resources You provide, that we may use them for Your glory and the advancement of Your kingdom.

Lord, we also pray for patience and faith as we wait on You. Strengthen our trust in You, knowing that You are working all things for our good. If it is Your will, provide this financial need quickly, but if not, help us to rest in Your sovereignty and love. May our lives reflect Your goodness and grace in every circumstance.

We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus, our Savior and Redeemer. Amen.

We encourage you to continue seeking God’s will in all things, remembering that He cares for you deeply. If there are specific ways you are trusting God to provide, whether through work, opportunities, or other means, we would also encourage you to take practical steps while trusting Him to guide your path. The Lord is faithful, and He will not fail you. Keep your heart fixed on Him, and He will direct your steps (Proverbs 3:5-6).

We can almost feel the weight in those words, “come quickly.” When a need has been urgent for a long time, waiting can press down on a person in a way that is hard to describe to anyone not living inside it. We are praying with you, not from a distance but right alongside that ache.

One thing we have seen, even when it does not feel like kindness, is that seasons of delay often do a deep, quiet work in us that quick answers never could. They pull us past wanting something from God and into wanting simply Him. That does not make the waiting easy, and it is not a platitude, it is the hard-won honesty of many who have cried out for years. God is not ignoring you. He is drawing you nearer than you knew you could be, and He sees every sleepless night and every bill that looks impossible.

In the middle of praying for a large sum to arrive, it can also help to ask God for wisdom about any practical footholds He might already be giving you right now, perhaps a fresh look at a budget, a conversation with a trusted financial counselor, or a small step you can take while you wait. Sometimes provision shows up in pieces and in unexpected ways, and asking Him to help you notice those is its own kind of faith.

Would you pray with us? Jesus, You know the pressure this person is carrying, and You know exactly what is needed. We ask You to provide, truly, tangibly provide, and to give relief from this burden. While the answer is still on its way, steady their heart. Show them any practical step they can take today, and let them sense Your presence even in the waiting. We trust You with the outcome and the timing, and we ask this in Your name alone.

This request touches a deep place in many hearts, and I would not dismiss it lightly. The need for money, when it presses sore upon the soul, can be as heavy a burden as any. Yet, I must ask you, what is the chief end of this large sum you seek? Is it for the glory of God, or for the ease of the flesh? For if we ask amiss, that we may consume it upon our own lusts, how can we expect the Lord to hear us? The promise of provision is sure for those who seek first the Kingdom, but the promise of riches is never made to the child of God. We are bid to have food and raiment, and therewith to be content.

I do not say this to chide you, but to stir up your pure mind by way of remembrance. There is a prayer that never fails: “Lord, help me!” It is a handy prayer, suited to every trial, and it carries within it a full surrender to the will of Him who knows what help we truly need. When we cry for money, we often fix our eyes on the thing itself, but the Lord may see that a swift answer would bring us leanness of soul. It is better to wait for the fish than to grasp the scorpion, better that the answer delays until our heart is prepared for the blessing He intends. Eliezer’s servant laid the matter before God and then expected the answer, but he did not dictate the how or the when. Let your request be made known with thanksgiving, and then go up to the top of Carmel to look for the cloud, believing that the Lord will send relief in His own time and way.

Remember, the greatest need you have is not for silver or gold, but for the unsearchable riches of Christ. If you have Him, you possess all things. If you lack Him, no amount of money can fill the aching void. Take that prayer, “Lord, help me,” and breathe it out day by day. Perhaps the help will come in the form of the money you seek; perhaps it will come as grace to endure the want, or as a door opened for honest labour. But be assured, the Lord’s ear is not heavy that it cannot hear, nor His arm shortened that it cannot save. Only let your prayer be mingled with faith, and your faith with patience, and your patience with a joyful resignation to your Father’s wise disposal. He who did not spare His own Son will with Him freely give us all things that are needful for our true welfare.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You ask for a large amount of money, and that it come quickly. But examine your heart: what is the master passion behind this petition? Is it not love of ease, or desire for show, or anxiety that the Lord does not provide? For the kingdom of heaven is not bought with money. Had it been so, the widow who threw in two mites would have gained nothing; but it was her purpose, her readiness of heart, that obtained everything. Why then do you fix your hope on silver and gold, rather than on the God who opens His hand and fills all things living with good? Such a prayer, if granted, might do you harm. Many have been ruined by sudden wealth, their faith choked by cares and pleasures. Care of practice and love of virtue do not breed this thirst for riches; they take it away when it exists.

If your need is genuine, know that He who feeds the ravens and clothes the lilies is not ignorant of your necessities. Yet He commands you to seek first His kingdom and His righteousness. That is the principal thing, the true faith and a pure conscience. All else is added in due measure. The apostles had neither gold nor silver, but they possessed all things in Christ. They were masters of the world, not its debtors. So pray rather for a generous heart, content with what you have, free from the lust of money and of the body. That is the miracle worth seeking: a soul delivered from covetousness. When you approach the holy mysteries, empty yourself of every profane desire, and then, whatever you ask in His name for your salvation, it shall be given you. But do not make petition the servant of greed.
