Mom's surgery

Shirley, my mom had an 8-hour open heart surgery today. Her heart was in worse shape than they had anticipated. 1 valve replacement, 1 valve repair and lots of calcium removal with some reconstruction work. The next 12 hours are very critical due to the chance of stroke and chance of constructive work not holding. We have fours hours down and eight hours to go. Please pray for the healing of her heart and quick recovery through these next eight hours into the next week.

Lord i lift you up shirley right now. You are a God who heals. I pray that would you touch her body right now and allow your healing power be upon her. Protect her, and recovery be upon her. May you guide everyone that are in the surgery, give them the strength, wisdom they need to go about this operation. Nothing is impossible to you Lord. We place shirley in your hands. Let your name be glorified in this event. Let your will be done. May you comfort shirley's family. Give them the faith, strength they need to endure this endeavor that they are facing.
