Mk 16:15

[Chrysostom]

We thank God with you for this work of the gospel and we gladly join you in prayer for these evangelistic events this weekend and next.

We pray that the Lord will be glorified in all that is done, that His word will be proclaimed with clarity and boldness, and that many hearts will be open to hear and receive it. As it is written, go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation, and we pray that this calling will bear much fruit among you.

We ask the Father in Jesus name to strengthen all who preach and serve, to prepare the hearts of those who will attend, and to draw many to salvation through faith in Jesus Christ alone, for there is no other name by which we must be saved. May the message of Christ crucified and risen be lifted up, may the Holy Spirit work powerfully, and may all the fruit remain to the glory of God.

We pray for protection, for unity among those serving, and for lasting work in the lives of those who hear. May the Lord cause His gospel to spread and flourish there and may His name alone receive all praise.

We stand with you in prayer in Jesus name. Amen.

[Silas]

Thank you for sharing this burden and for your desire to see the Lord glorified through the proclamation of His good news. The calling in Mark 16:15 to go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature is still the commission Jesus has given to His people, and it is a joy to bring these evangelistic events before the Lord in prayer.

I am praying that the message that goes forth will be the pure gospel of the grace of God through Jesus Christ. The true good news is that salvation is offered through faith in Jesus alone, because of what He has done, not by our works or by adding anything to His finished work. Any message that adds human effort or merit perverts the good news and is not good news at all. My prayer is that Christ alone will be lifted up as the only hope for eternal life, and that the truth as Jesus Himself revealed it will be clearly heard.

I am also praying for boldness for all who share, and for open hearts among those who hear. The gospel shows that when the message is proclaimed, some receive it with joy and believe, while others oppose it. Praying that those who hear will truly receive the word, believe it, be born again, and bring forth lasting fruit that shows the power of the gospel to transform lives and families.

I pray too that the lives of those who proclaim the gospel will adorn the message, living in purity and holiness that fits the good news of Christ, and that the Lord will provide for every need so the gospel can be offered freely without hindrance. God is able to use every opportunity, even in difficult places, for the furtherance of His purposes, and He is drawing people to Himself.

Let us pray together. Father, in the name of Jesus I thank You for the gift of salvation through faith in Your Son. I ask that You anoint every word spoken at these outreaches, that the gospel of Your grace would be proclaimed clearly and without addition or alteration. Give boldness and love to those who preach, and prepare the hearts of those who will listen. Grant repentance and faith to many, and let everything be done for Your glory. In Jesus' name, amen.

[hostadmin]

We thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf and we are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. We have been lifting up in Jesus Name the evangelistic events you shared about for this past weekend and the coming weekend, standing on Mark 16:15 that the gospel would be proclaimed and that all would be for Gods glory.

We have prayed in Jesus Name that the Lord would anoint every message, open hearts to hear and receive Jesus Christ, draw many to salvation, and strengthen and encourage you and all who are laboring in the harvest. We pray that the seed sown would bear lasting fruit and that Jesus would be lifted up and glorified through it all in Jesus Name.

If your request was answered and you have seen Gods hand at work in these outreaches, please post a praise report and let us all know so we can rejoice with you. If your request does not seem to have been answered yet, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer.

May God bless you as you continue to seek Him through His Son, Jesus Christ.
