Beloved Warrior
Father, I thank You for the peace You granted my son last night, and I ask that You continue to saturate him with Your presence today and always. Your Word declares in Philippians 4:6-7, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, Lord, I ask my requests be made known to You. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard my son's hearts and his thoughts in Christ Jesus." Lord, I claim this promise over my son. Let Your peace, which transcends all human understanding, guard his heart and mind, calming every storm within him. I am declaring and believing for God's complete healing, restoration, and breakthrough in every area of my son's life. I rebuke the spirits of torment, confusion, agitation, and anxiety that have been troubling him. In the mighty name of Jesus, I command them to flee, for Proverbs 18:10 tells us, "The name of Yahweh is a strong tower: the righteous run to him, and are safe." My son is safe in You, Lord, and I declare that no weapon formed against him shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). I break every chain of PTSD, negative habits, and past hurts that have taken root in his life. By the stripes of Jesus, my son is healed (Isaiah 53:5), and I declare that healing over his mind, body, and spirit. Lord, I ask that You replace every negative behavior with godly manners and expressions. Give him the desire to communicate his wants and needs in gentle ways that honor You, and fill him with confidence, calmness, and satisfaction. I pray for his meals, that he would eat peacefully and be content, free from any discomfort or confusion. Bless his stomach, Lord, and remove any physical distress that causes him to struggle. Let every sound and sensation be covered by Your protection, and may he find joy and peace in his daily routines. I also lift up the relationships in his life. Father, restore his sister’s loving heart toward him and mend any broken friendships. Remove anyone who causes division, strife, or looks at him as a burden rather than a blessing. Redirect those who are jealous of our family’s unity, and surround my son with godly friendships and mentors who will encourage and uplift him. Let Your love flow through every interaction, filling him with gratitude, compassion, and understanding from those around him. Lord, I ask for Your divine protection over my son and my entire family. Surround our home, vehicles, and every place he goes with Your angels, shielding him from all harm, spiritual attacks, and negative influences (Psalm 91:11-12). Wash him in the blood of Jesus, cleansing him from the top of his head to the soles of his feet, and let Your presence be a constant comfort to him. I declare that he is free from fear, nightmares, and anxiety, and that Your peace will fill his days and nights. I pray for his caregivers, support coordinator, and everyone involved in his care. Grant them wisdom, patience, understanding, compassion, and strength to work with him in ways that bring out the best in him. Provide additional godly caregivers and services where needed, ensuring he receives the highest level of care possible. Let every outing, travel, activities and appointment be filled with Your joy, peace, satisfaction and protection. Father, I thank You for the miracles You have already performed in his life, including the 20 months he has been seizure-free. He is having more peaceful days and nights. Thank You Lord for letting me witness the daily miracles in my precious son's life. I declare Jesus, that there will be no more setbacks, only ongoing victory, healing, success, freedom, and breakthrough. Let his life be a testimony of Your faithfulness, and may he grow in confidence, independence, satisfaction, compassion, obedience, peace and joy. Lord I stand on Your promises, for You are faithful to complete the good work You have begun in my son’s life (Philippians 1:6). Jesus, I pray me and my family will experience Your peace, joy, love, favor, togetherness, protection and restoration in abundance today. Saturate our surrounding with Your peaceful bright light and permanently remove any darkness from our surrounds. I pray all of this in the mighty and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We join you in heartfelt agreement, lifting your precious son before the throne of grace. What a beautiful and fervent prayer you have offered, standing in faith on God’s promises and declaring His truth over your son’s life. We are moved by your trust in the Lord’s faithfulness and your commitment to intercede for your child with such love and authority in Jesus’ name.

Father in Heaven, we come before You with thanksgiving for the peace You have already granted this young man, and we ask that You continue to saturate him with Your presence. Your Word assures us in Philippians 4:6-7 that when we present our requests to You with thanksgiving, Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, will guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. Lord, we claim this promise over this family. Let Your peace reign in this young man’s heart, calming every storm within him and replacing anxiety with trust in You. We declare that he is safe in the strong tower of Your name, as Proverbs 18:10 tells us, and no weapon formed against him shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).

We rebuke every spirit of torment, confusion, agitation, and anxiety that has sought to trouble him. In the mighty name of Jesus, we command these spirits to flee, for the blood of Jesus has cleansed him, and the name of Jesus is above every other name. We break every chain of PTSD, negative habits, and past hurts that have taken root in his life. By the stripes of Jesus, he is healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we declare that healing over his mind, body, and spirit. Lord, replace every negative behavior with godly character, and give him the desire to communicate in ways that honor You. Fill him with confidence, calmness, and satisfaction, and bless his meals so that he may eat in peace, free from discomfort.

We pray for the relationships in his life, Father. Restore his sister’s loving heart toward him and mend any broken friendships. Remove anyone who causes division or strife, and surround him with godly friendships and mentors who will encourage and uplift him. Let Your love flow through every interaction, filling him with gratitude and compassion. We also pray for his caregivers, support coordinator, and all who are involved in his care. Grant them wisdom, patience, understanding, and strength to serve him in ways that bring out the best in him. Provide additional godly caregivers and services where needed, ensuring he receives the highest level of care possible.

Lord, we thank You for the miracles You have already performed in his life, including the 20 months he has been seizure-free. We rejoice with this family in the peaceful days and nights You have granted them, and we declare that there will be no more setbacks, only ongoing victory, healing, success, freedom, and breakthrough. Let his life be a testimony of Your faithfulness, and may he grow in confidence, independence, compassion, obedience, peace, and joy. We stand on Your promise in Philippians 1:6, that You who began a good work in him will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.

We also pray for this family, Father. Saturate their home with Your peace, joy, love, favor, and protection. Let Your bright light permanently dispel any darkness around them, and may they experience Your restoration in abundance. Surround their home, vehicles, and every place they go with Your angels, shielding them from all harm and spiritual attacks (Psalm 91:11-12). Wash them in the blood of Jesus, cleansing them from head to toe, and let Your presence be a constant comfort to them.

We declare that this young man is free from fear, nightmares, and anxiety, and that Your peace will fill his days and nights. We thank You, Lord, for the miracles You are performing and for the testimony of Your faithfulness that will shine through his life. May this family continue to witness Your goodness and trust in You with all their hearts. In the mighty and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.

We hear the deep love in your words and the immense hope you carry for your son. Watching someone you love wrestle with anxiety and past hurts can feel like a long, heavy battle, and we want you to know we are standing with you in prayer.

One thing that often strikes us is how healing so often takes root in the soil of safe, steady relationships. Your unwavering prayers and presence are not small gifts, they are one of the most potent antidotes to the isolation that trauma can bring. As you continue to be a calm, consistent anchor for him, we believe God meets him in that love.

Because you mention PTSD and anxiety, it may also help to keep the door open with his care team about any trauma-specific support they can offer. Sometimes the right professional input, combined with the prayer covering you already provide, can open new pathways to peace. You don’t have to carry this alone; lean on trusted friends and your church family so you yourself can stay replenished.

We are lifting your son and your whole family now. Lord, we ask You to quiet every storm inside this young man. Give him rest from fear, steady his mind, and bring relief to his body. Surround him with people who see his worth and reflect Your kindness. Sustain his mother with fresh strength and hope each day. We place all these things in Your hands, trusting Your faithfulness, in Jesus’ name.

You have been pouring your heart out before the throne, and the Lord has heard every syllable. A mother’s prayers are like love-letters delivered to the Father’s hand, and He never throws them aside. I see you standing on the promises, claiming peace for your son, thanking God for the quiet nights and the twenty months free from seizures, and yet, even as you give thanks, the thronging duties press in, the what-ifs knock at the door, and the tempter whispers that you must be anxious or else you are not doing enough. It is not so.

Here is a homely picture for you. A ship on a rough sea, the waves crashing, the wind howling, is perfectly safe as long as the water stays outside the hull. The danger begins when the sea gets inside the vessel. So it is with your soul. You have tribulation on every side, and you always will in this world, our Lord told us that plainly, but He also said, “Let not your heart be troubled.” The outside troubles cannot sink you while Christ sits within. What you have been doing, dear mother, is the best work of all: the indoor work. You have been saying to your own soul, “Bless the Lord, O my soul, and all that is within me, bless his holy name.” Keep that little bird of peace singing in your bosom, wear heart’s-ease in your buttonhole, and you shall pass through this wilderness of care without being drowned by it.

You long for your son’s mind to be guarded by a peace that surpasses understanding. That peace is not a feeling that comes and goes with the weather; it is a Person. The Lord Jesus Christ himself is our peace. When we come to him, we drink and are refreshed. I remember when I learned that my enormous debt of sin was fully discharged by him, oh, then my heart was at peace! And your son, with all his storms and fears, has that same blood speaking peace for him. The enemy will shoot his fiery darts, the dark insinuation that God has forgotten, that the healing will never come, that the chains are too strong, but those arrows strike the shield of the Savior’s finished work and fall harmless. The clock of mercy struck the hour of deliverance for you and your boy long ago, when Christ cried, “It is finished.” The ransom has been found. He will not let your son go.

You mentioned his meals, his stomach, his daily routines. The Lord cares for these small, homely things. He who made the stomach can quiet it. He who calmed the sea can hush the fretful tossing within your boy. And do not despise the little you can do each day. When duties piled high threaten to overwhelm, the way to perfect peace is to do the will of Jesus moment by moment. What you cannot do, you may leave to him with perfect confidence, knowing that your duty does not lie in the region of the impossible.

I would have you speak now as faith speaks, not as fear speaks. You have already begun to declare, “I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord.” That was Martin Luther’s text in the thick of the battle, and it is yours too. There is a blessedness in giving your heart a tongue when faith is riding high. You have talked of no more setbacks, only ongoing victory. That is the language of Canaan, not the wilderness. Go on speaking it. The more talk we get from the mouth of faith, the better, her lips drop sweet-smelling myrrh.

And see this: every deliverance God works for your son will bring enrichment with it. When Israel came out of Egypt, they did not crawl out poor and feeble; the Scripture says, “He brought them forth also with silver and gold: and there was not one feeble person among their tribes.” The very trial that has worn him down shall become, in the Lord’s hands, the soil out of which healing leaves spring up. The Tree of Life stands on either side of the river in the city of God, and its leaves are for the healing of the nations. Your son will taste those leaves. Already you are seeing mercy-plucked branches, quiet nights, seizure-free days, and the Lord who began this good work will carry it on until the day of Christ.

As you go back now to your daily round, remember this: you have a well to draw from. Christ is that deep spring, and his Book is brimful of promises suited to every case. When you are fainting, turn to the Word, find a promise, drink deep, and your soul shall be revived. The peace you are asking for is not a treasure locked in heaven for some future day; it is a present possession for those whose minds are stayed on him.

Let us pray.

Lord Jesus, we come to you now, not with eloquent speech but with a mother’s heart. You love this son more than she ever could, and you have carried him every step. Fill him, we pray, with your peace, not a mere calm surface, but the deep, abiding rest that comes from the blood of the Lamb. Silence the accusing voice of the enemy. Let every tormenting thought bow to your sweet sovereignty. Heal the hidden wounds of the past, settle his stomach, quiet his mind, and let him eat his meals with contentment and joy. Surround him with angels, and let no weapon formed against him prosper. Grant his caregivers wisdom and gentleness; be a wall of fire around that home. And to this dear mother, give the inward rest of a soul stayed on you. Let her see the ongoing miracle of your faithfulness, and fill her mouth with praise. We trust you, Lord, for the complete restoration, and we thank you now for every grace you are pouring out. In Jesus’ mighty name, Amen.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We are so grateful that you shared your heart with us and allowed us to stand in faith alongside you for your son. It has been our joy to lift him before the Lord, declaring His promises of peace, healing, and protection over his life. We have prayed in agreement with you for the continued saturation of God’s presence, the guarding of his heart and mind, and the breaking of every chain that has sought to hinder him. We have also lifted up his relationships, caregivers, and every aspect of his daily life, asking the Lord to surround him with His favor, joy, and divine protection.

If you have seen God’s hand move in answer to these prayers—whether through moments of unexpected peace, healing, restored relationships, or breakthroughs—we would love to hear your praise report! Your testimony will encourage others and bring glory to the Lord. If, however, the battle still feels ongoing, please know that we are here to continue standing with you. Post this request again, and we will persist in prayer, believing with you for the full manifestation of God’s promises.

May the Lord bless you and your family abundantly as you continue to seek Him. May His peace, which surpasses all understanding, continue to guard your son’s heart and mind in Christ Jesus. May you witness even greater miracles, restoration, and joy in the days ahead, and may your faith grow as you see His faithfulness unfold. We pray all of this in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
