I ### having is my MS (ObGyn) practical exams in these coming two days. I have always wanted to score distinction. Lord i surrender myself and my exams and my viva in your mighty hands. Lord you are my father for past ### years after I lost my father. Lord you have always been with me and helped me. I have seen your miracles. Lord i am very anxious about my exam results because of the partiality happening in our Department. Lord i am aware that there is nothing above you. You are my all in all and you will see to it that there is no injustice happening towards me. Lord i know that you are before me, after me, besides me and forever with me. Lord please help me through this. Lord i will glorify your name and proclaim that you are the only reason I could do what I have done. Lord i pray that you guide the examiners so that they are not partial towards anyone. Amen

We join you in bringing your MS ObGyn practical exams and viva before the throne of grace in these coming two days, and we thank you for your sincere surrender of yourself and your exams into the mighty hands of the Lord.

We hear your heart, your desire to do well and to score distinction after years of diligent study, and also your anxiety because of the partiality you have seen in your department. We also hear your beautiful testimony that after losing your earthly father, the Lord Himself has been your Father and has shown you His miracles, and that you desire to glorify His name through your life and work. That is a faithful testimony, for He is a Father of the fatherless, and a defender of the widows, is God in his holy habitation Psalm 68:5.

We want to gently remind you of something precious as you call upon the Lord. You have prayed to the Lord and to the Father, which is good, but we come to the Father only through Jesus Christ. It is through His name that we have access to God and assurance of salvation. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6. There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. So we join you in praying in the name of Jesus Christ, trusting not only for help in exams but for the forgiveness of sins and eternal life that He alone gives to all who believe in Him.

Your anxiety is understandable, but the Lord invites you to exchange it for His peace. We are told, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7. We also remember His promise, Do not be afraid, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness Isaiah 41:10.

We pray together for you now.

Father in heaven, in the name of Jesus Christ we lift up our sister as she prepares for her practical exams and viva. You have been her Father and her ever present help, before her, behind her, and beside her, and You will never leave her nor forsake her Deuteronomy 31:8. We ask You to calm her anxious heart and guard her mind with Your peace. Grant her clarity of thought, steady hands, recall of all she has studied, and wisdom to answer with grace and truth. If any man lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him James 1:5. We ask You to guide the examiners, that they would judge with fairness, integrity and impartiality, for You are a God of justice. All his ways are justice. A God of faithfulness and without iniquity, just and right is he Deuteronomy 32:4. We commit her work to You, for we know Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed Proverbs 16:3. We pray for Your perfect will, whether that be distinction or another result, that she would trust that You work all things together for good for those who love You Romans 8:28. Let her life and her results proclaim Your goodness, so that she may say with the psalmist, Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this. He will make your righteousness shine out like light, and your justice as the noon day sun Psalm 37:5-6. We ask that no injustice would prevail, and that Your name alone would be glorified through her efforts and her testimony. In Jesus name we pray, Amen.

We encourage you to continue to prepare diligently as unto the Lord, for Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men Colossians 3:23, and then to rest in His sovereign and loving hands. Your worth and Your future are not determined by a grade or by the partiality of man, but by the Lord who sees in secret and rewards openly, who is forever with you. Keep seeking Him first, giving thanks, and trusting that He who has carried you for all these years will carry you through these two days as well.

Wanting a distinction after so many years of study makes this feel especially weighty, and we hear how deeply you have leaned on the Lord as Father since losing your own father. It is understandable to feel anxious right now, especially with the added worry about partiality in your department.

Thank you for the way you have surrendered the exams into His hands and for your desire to give Him glory. We love your confidence that He is before you, beside you and with you always, and that nothing is above Him. He sees you, He knows the work you have put in, and He cares about what is fair and true. We are asking Him to steady you and to guide your examiners to be attentive and impartial.

In these final hours, try to steward what you can and release what you cannot. Keep your review focused on the most practical, high yield points rather than trying to cover everything, then allow yourself real rest and nourishment so your mind is clear when you enter the hall. In the viva, give yourself a moment to listen carefully to each question and answer simply and honestly, even if you need to say you do not know.

Father, we place her in Your hands in these two days. Quiet her heart and steady her mind, help her recall what she has learned, and guide her words. We ask You to guide the examiners toward fairness and to guard her from injustice. Let her know Your nearness whatever the outcome and give her Your peace. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your prayer breathes a spirit of humble dependence upon the Lord which is itself most precious in His sight. To surrender yourself, your examinations and your viva into His mighty hands is the wisest course you could take, for He who has been your Father these years since your earthly father was taken home has not failed you yet, and He will not fail you now. He is a Father to the fatherless, and His eye is upon His children continually.

I hear in your words both faith and fear striving together, and this is common to the people of God. Yet remember that the very anxiety which arises through your being in a difficulty unfits you to meet that difficulty. Fear is weakening, and it dishonours that God whose arm piled the heavens and sustains the pillars of the earth. He says to you as He said to His servant of old, Fear thou not, for I am with thee, be not dismayed for I am thy God. Fear not, thou worm Jacob, I will help thee, saith the Lord. It would be disobedience to remain in fear when Jesus Himself whispers, Fear not.

Therefore I charge you, as one who believes in the Lord Jesus Christ, to play the part of faith and let your faith overcome your fear. Obey that gracious word, Casting all your care upon Him, for He careth for you. Tell the Lord about your anxiety rather than telling yourself about it. You have seen His miracles, and you know there is nothing above Him. He is before you and behind you and beside you, and He will be forever with you. Labour to get rid of fear by trusting in promised strength.

We will bring your petition before the throne of grace. We ask the Lord to quiet your heart and to grant you clearness of mind, remembrance and calm utterance in these two days of practical examinations and viva. We ask Him who is the God of all justice to guide the examiners, that they may act with impartiality and integrity, and that no injustice may be done toward you or toward any other. We ask Him to grant you favour and to let your labour be seen aright, and if it be His will to grant you the distinction you have long desired, we will give Him all the glory. Yet more than any mark or honour, we ask that you may know His peace which passes understanding, and that whatever the result, you may still proclaim that He alone is the reason for all you have done.

Go forth resting upon Him. He who has helped you hitherto will help you to the end. May your heart be kept from tormenting fear by that perfect love which casts out fear, and may you find that as your faith grows stronger, your fear will vanish. The Lord help you and keep you, and make His goodness known through you. Amen.
