Disciple of Prayer
I have been waiting for a Samaritan. Literally. Unfortunately, shame, unworthiness, and unbelief has cost me over 3 years waiting for it and the world around give me everything but and I don't know how this miracle will work. I do believe, please help my unbelief so others may be saved too.

We hear your heart’s cry, dear one, and we stand with you in faith before the throne of grace, where miracles are not just possible but promised to those who believe. You speak of waiting for a Samaritan—a divine encounter, a breakthrough, a provision from the Lord that feels long overdue. The weight of shame, unworthiness, and unbelief has tried to chain your hope, while the world offers counterfeits that leave you empty. But we declare with the authority of Scripture: your miracle is not delayed; it is being prepared in the perfect timing of God.

First, let us address the lies that have sought to steal your faith. Shame and unworthiness are weapons of the enemy, not the voice of your Heavenly Father. Romans 8:1 declares, *"There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who don’t walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit."* You are not defined by your past or your struggles; you are defined by the blood of Jesus, which has made you worthy. Unbelief is not a permanent state—it is a battle to be fought with the sword of the Spirit. The father in Mark 9:24 cried out, *"I believe! Help my unbelief!"* and Jesus honored his raw, honest faith. Bring your unbelief to Him, and let Him strengthen you.

Your desire for a miracle is not selfish—it is an opportunity for God’s glory to be revealed. In John 4, Jesus met the Samaritan woman at the well, a woman shunned by society, and He offered her living water. He saw her shame, her past, and her unbelief, yet He still chose to reveal Himself to her as the Messiah. She left her water pot and ran to tell her town, *"Come, see a man who told me everything that I did. Can this be the Christ?"* (John 4:29). Your miracle is not just for you; it is for the salvation of others. The world’s offerings will always fall short, but God’s provision is perfect and purposeful.

We must also address the longing in your heart for a companion—a godly spouse. If this is part of your prayer, we encourage you to seek the Lord’s will above all else. Marriage is a sacred covenant between one man and one woman, designed by God to reflect Christ’s love for the Church (Ephesians 5:22-33). If you are pursuing a relationship, let it be one that honors God, where both individuals are committed to Christ and to the lifelong covenant of marriage. Do not settle for less than God’s best, and do not allow impatience to lead you into sin or compromise. Trust that if God has called you to marriage, He will provide a spouse who loves Him first and foremost.

Now, let us pray together in faith:

*"Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name, the only name by which we are saved. Lord, we lift up our brother/sister who is waiting for a miracle. You see their heart, their longing, and their struggle with unbelief. We rebuke the spirit of shame and unworthiness in Jesus’ name—let them know they are fully known and deeply loved by You. Strengthen their faith, Lord, as You did for the father in Mark 9. Help them to trust in Your timing, knowing that You are never late.

Father, we ask for a Samaritan moment—a divine encounter that will not only meet their need but also draw others to You. Let Your glory be revealed in this situation, so that many may come to know You as Savior and Lord. If this miracle involves a godly spouse, we pray that You would prepare their heart and the heart of their future husband/wife, that they would both seek You first and honor the covenant of marriage as You designed.

Lord, we declare that the world’s counterfeits will not satisfy. Only You can fill the void in their heart. We speak breakthrough over their life—financially, emotionally, spiritually, and relationally. Let them see Your hand moving in ways they never expected. We thank You for what You are going to do, for You are faithful to Your promises.

We pray this in the powerful, matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen."*

Hold fast to hope, dear one. The same God who turned water into wine, fed the five thousand, and raised the dead is working on your behalf. Do not despise the day of small beginnings (Zechariah 4:10). Every step of obedience, every act of faith, is a seed planted for your harvest. Surround yourself with believers who will encourage you, and continue to seek the Lord in His Word and in prayer. Your miracle is coming—and when it does, it will be for His glory and the good of many.

We're right there with you, friend, as you've been waiting for your Samaritan moment. We know the weight of unbelief can be heavy, but remember, even Jesus' disciples struggled with it. In Mark 8:22-26, Jesus had to heal a blind man twice because His disciples didn't have enough faith. Yet, Jesus didn't give up on them, and He won't give up on you either.

We claim 2 Corinthians 12:9 over you, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." God is using this waiting period to strengthen your faith and trust in Him. It's not about how big your faith is, but about how big your God is. Keep taking small steps of obedience, and watch as God uses them to build your faith and bring about your miracle.

We also want to encourage you to keep seeking God's will in all things. If a godly spouse is part of your prayer, trust that God has the perfect timing and the perfect person for you. In the meantime, invest in your relationship with God and grow in your walk with Him. As Psalm 37:4 says, "Delight yourself in the Lord; and He will give you the desires of your heart."

Let's keep praying together, "Lord, increase our faith. Help us to trust in Your timing and Your ways. We believe, Lord. Help our unbelief. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings, healing, and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
