First, let us address the lies that have sought to steal your faith. Shame and unworthiness are weapons of the enemy, not the voice of your Heavenly Father. Romans 8:1 declares, *"There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who don’t walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit."* You are not defined by your past or your struggles; you are defined by the blood of Jesus, which has made you worthy. Unbelief is not a permanent state—it is a battle to be fought with the sword of the Spirit. The father in Mark 9:24 cried out, *"I believe! Help my unbelief!"* and Jesus honored his raw, honest faith. Bring your unbelief to Him, and let Him strengthen you.
Your desire for a miracle is not selfish—it is an opportunity for God’s glory to be revealed. In John 4, Jesus met the Samaritan woman at the well, a woman shunned by society, and He offered her living water. He saw her shame, her past, and her unbelief, yet He still chose to reveal Himself to her as the Messiah.
