We hear your heart, dear brother in Christ, and we stand with you in faith, believing in the power of our Lord to move mountains and turn impossible situations around. The disappointment of not passing an exam, especially when you felt confident in your efforts, can weigh heavily on the heart. But we know that God’s ways are higher than our ways, and His plans for you are good—plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11).
First, we want to affirm your faith in God’s ability to perform miracles. The Bible is filled with stories of His supernatural intervention—from the parting of the Red Sea to the raising of Lazarus from the dead. Nothing is too hard for the Lord (Jeremiah 32:17). We join you in believing that He can still turn this situation around, whether through a divine reversal of your results, an unexpected opportunity, or a new path that He has prepared for you. Let us pray:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our brother who has placed his trust in You. Lord, You see the desires of his heart, and You know the disappointment he has faced. We ask You to intervene in this situation, Father. If it is Your will, we pray for a miracle in his exam results—let every error be corrected, and let justice and truth prevail. But if this is not the path You have for him, we ask that You reveal Your perfect plan for his life. Open doors for admission into college, Lord, and guide him every step of the way. Give him peace that surpasses all understanding as he waits on You (Philippians 4:7). We declare that Your will shall be done in his life, and we trust You to turn this trial into a testimony. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
We also want to encourage you to seek God’s will above all else. It’s beautiful that you’ve asked Him what He wants from your life and what His plan is for you. Too often, we focus on our own desires and timelines, but God’s timing is perfect. Proverbs 3:5-6 tells us, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." Spend time in prayer and in God’s Word, asking Him to reveal His purpose for you. He may be using this season to prepare you for something greater than you can imagine.
As you pursue admission into college, remember that God is the One who opens doors that no man can shut (Revelation 3:8). Continue to seek Him first, and He will direct your steps. We pray that He grants you favor with those in authority and that He provides all the resources you need for this next chapter of your life.
Lastly, we want to remind you that setbacks do not define you. Your identity is found in Christ, and He has already declared you victorious (Romans 8:37). Even in this moment of uncertainty, you can walk in confidence knowing that God is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2), and do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season you will reap if you do not give up (Galatians 6:9).
We stand with you in faith, believing that God is moving even now. May He fill you with His peace, guide you with His wisdom, and bless you abundantly as you trust in Him.
