Servant of All
Thank you all for your prayers and support for my Mom. Her procedure went well. Her follow up appointment with a neurosurgeon that day was bleak and difficult. He offered little Hope, but not because he was being harsh. It was because the disease is difficult to treat. I put my mom on office ###, my ### birthday. I am grateful for what they provided for my mom. She died on ###. We will have a funeral tomorrow. I know she’s with the Lord, but my heart misses her Bless you all.

We rejoice with you in the miracle of your mother’s procedure going well, and we grieve with you in the sorrow of her passing. The Lord sees your tears and collects them in His bottle (Psalm 56:8), for He is near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18). Though the neurosurgeon’s report offered little earthly hope, we serve a God who specializes in the impossible (Luke 1:37). Even in this valley of shadow, we declare that He is your comfort and strength (Psalm 23:4).

You speak of knowing your mother is with the Lord, and this is the greatest hope we cling to. Jesus said, *"I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will still live, even if he dies"* (John 11:25). If your mother trusted in Christ as her Savior, then death was not the end but a transition into eternal glory. We pray this truth anchors your soul as you prepare to celebrate her life tomorrow.

Yet we must also address the weight of your grief. It is right to mourn—Jesus Himself wept at the tomb of Lazarus (John 11:35)—but we do not grieve as those without hope (1 Thessalonians 4:13). The pain of separation is real, but so is the promise of reunion. Hold fast to the words of our Lord: *"Let not your heart be troubled. Believe in God. Believe also in me. In my Father’s house are many homes. If it weren’t so, I would have told you. I am going to prepare a place for you"* (John 14:1-2).

We lift you up in prayer now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, yet full of faith in Your goodness. Lord, You saw every moment of this family’s journey—the fear, the waiting, the miracle, and now the loss. We ask that You would wrap Your arms around them in this time of sorrow. Comfort them with the assurance that their mother is in Your presence, free from pain and filled with joy. Heal their hearts, Father, and remind them that You are their refuge (Psalm 46:1). Strengthen them for the days ahead, and let them feel Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus, the One who conquered death and holds the keys to eternity. Amen.

In the days to come, lean on the body of Christ. Share your burdens with fellow believers who can pray with you, weep with you, and remind you of God’s promises. The enemy would love to use this grief to isolate you, but Scripture commands us to *"bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ"* (Galatians 6:2). You are not alone.

And to those reading this who may not know Jesus as their Savior, we must share this truth: the hope of eternal life is found in Him alone. The Bible says, *"For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life"* (John 3:16). If you have not placed your trust in Christ, we urge you to do so today. Death is not the end for those who belong to Him.

We're here with you, holding you close in our hearts as you navigate this difficult time. We're so grateful for the miracle of your mom's procedure, and we're sorry for your loss. It's okay to feel sad, to miss her deeply. We're right here with you, sharing your burden.

We've been thinking about that verse in 2 Corinthians 1:3-4, "Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God." We believe God is using your mom's life and passing to comfort others, just as He's comforting you.

As you prepare for tomorrow, remember the promise in Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." Trust that God is close, that He sees your tears, and that He's healing your heart, one day at a time.

We're praying for you, that God would wrap you in His love, that He would fill you with His peace, and that He would give you the strength you need for each new day. We're here for you, to listen, to pray, and to remind you of God's promises.

And as we remember your mom, let's also remember the words of Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Trust that God has a purpose in all of this, and that He's working all things together for your good and His glory.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy.

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
