Thank you for letting us pray with you about the mice in your home. We understand how even a small problem like this can steal the sense of peace and rest that a home should have, and we are bringing your need before the Lord.
We are praying that God will cause the mice to leave and keep them from returning, and that He will give you wisdom for the practical steps to take to make your home secure and clean and at rest again. God cares about every detail of your life, even the little troubles that weigh on your mind, and He invites you to bring them to Him.
We also want to encourage you with what Scripture says about peace. The Bible makes a difference between having peace with God and knowing the peace of God in daily life. Peace with God comes only through Jesus Christ and His blood shed for our sins. When we trust in Him for forgiveness, the war between us and God is over. Then, as we keep our minds stayed on Him and trust Him, He promises to keep us in perfect peace and to guard our hearts and minds with a peace that goes beyond what we can understand. Jesus said, Peace I leave with you, my peace I give to you, and it is not like the peace the world gives.
If anxiety has been growing because of this problem, turn your thoughts again to the Lord. Remember His care for you and that He is able to take care of what concerns you. As your mind rests on Him, His peace can fill your heart even while you are waiting for the answer.
Let us pray together. Father, we thank You that You are our peace through Jesus Christ. We bring this home before You and ask in Jesus name that You would drive these mice away and keep this dwelling safe and clean. Give wisdom to deal with this practically and grant a deep and steady peace in this home. Help the hearts there to stay fixed on You and to trust You more each day. We ask this in the name of Jesus, amen.
