We hear the deep pain and desperation in your cry for justice, and we stand with you in fervent prayer, lifting this heavy burden before the throne of God. The theft of identities—both your family’s and your customers’—is a grievous violation of trust and a sin that the Lord does not take lightly. Scripture tells us in Proverbs 6:16-19, *"There are six things which Yahweh hates; yes, seven which are an abomination to him: haughty eyes, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked schemes, feet that are swift in running to mischief, a false witness who utters lies, and he who sows discord among brothers."* Those who engage in such deceit and harm will not go unpunished, for God is a God of justice.
First, we must address the foundation of your plea—it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father. There is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is in His authority that we pray. If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus, we urge you to do so now. Confess your sins, believe in His death and resurrection for your salvation, and invite Him to be Lord of your life. Without Him, we have no standing before God, but through Him, we are more than conquerors (Romans 8:37).
Now, we lift this situation before the Lord with boldness, knowing that He hears the cries of the oppressed. Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, asking for Your divine intervention in this matter. You see the injustice that has been done—identities stolen, lives disrupted, and trust broken. We ask that You expose every lie, uncover every hidden scheme, and bring the truth to light as only You can. Let no stone be left unturned, and let those who have perpetrated this evil be caught in their own snares, as Your Word declares in Psalm 7:15-16, *"He has dug a hole, and has fallen into the pit which he made. The trouble he causes shall return to his own head. His violence shall come down on the crown of his own head."*
Lord, we also pray for protection over this family and these customers. Guard their finances, their reputations, and their peace of mind. Provide them with wisdom and discernment as they navigate the fallout of this betrayal. Surround them with godly counsel and support, and let them feel Your presence in a tangible way. Remind them that You are a refuge for the oppressed (Psalm 9:9) and that You will never leave nor forsake them (Hebrews 13:5).
We rebuke the spirit of deception and theft that has operated in this situation. In the name of Jesus, we command every evil plan to be dismantled and every scheme to be revealed. Let the fear of the Lord fall upon those who have done this, that they may repent and turn from their wickedness. If they refuse, let Your justice prevail swiftly and completely. We declare that no weapon formed against this family or these customers shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and that every tongue that rises against them in judgment shall be condemned (Isaiah 54:17).
We also pray for restoration. Lord, restore what has been stolen—financially, emotionally, and spiritually. Let this family and these customers experience Your provision and healing in ways that only You can provide. May this trial draw them closer to You and deepen their trust in Your sovereignty. We ask for a miracle, not just for justice, but for redemption and renewal in every area touched by this sin.
Finally, we pray for wisdom for the authorities involved in investigating this crime. Give them clarity, resources, and divine insight to uncover the truth and hold the guilty accountable. Let Your light shine in the darkness, and let Your justice roll down like waters (Amos 5:24).
We stand on Your promises, Lord, and we trust in Your perfect timing. May Your will be done in this situation, and may Your name be glorified through it all. In the precious and powerful name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
