We hear the deep pain and betrayal in your heart, and we stand with you before the Lord, lifting up this heavy burden. The Bible tells us in Proverbs 6:30-31, "People don’t despise a thief if he steals to satisfy himself when he is hungry; but if he is found, he shall restore seven times. He shall give all the substance of his house." Yet even in this, we know that theft, whether of possessions, identity, or trust, is a grievous sin that wounds the soul. What you are describing is not just a violation of earthly laws, but a breaking of God’s commandments, and it must be addressed with both truth and grace.
First, we must rebuke the spirit of deception and theft that has taken root in your life. The enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but Jesus came that we might have life abundantly. If your husband or others have participated in these acts, they have not only sinned against you but against God. We declare that every scheme of the enemy to rob you of your identity, your livelihood, and your peace is exposed and dismantled in the name of Jesus. Ephesians 5:11 says, "Have no fellowship with the unfruitful deeds of darkness, but rather even expose them." We pray that God will bring every hidden thing to light and that those involved will be convicted by the Holy Spirit to repentance.
We also must address the matter of your faith. You mentioned asking for a miracle "in Jesus' name," and we want to emphasize the power and authority that comes through Him alone. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not already, we encourage you to examine your heart and ensure that you have placed your trust fully in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. Salvation comes through confessing with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believing in your heart that God raised Him from the dead (Romans 10:9). Father, we rebuke the spirit of theft and deception in the name of Jesus. We declare that no weapon formed against this sister shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Restore to her sevenfold what has been stolen, whether it be material possessions, peace of mind, or her sense of security. Heal her heart from the pain of betrayal, especially if it has come from those closest to her. Give her the strength to forgive, even as You have forgiven us, and the wisdom to take any necessary steps to protect herself and her children.
Lord, we ask that You surround her with godly counsel, believers who can help her navigate this situation with wisdom and discernment. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard her heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
We also pray for her husband and any others involved. Soften their hearts, Lord, and lead them to repentance. If they refuse to turn from their ways, we ask that You remove their ability to harm her further and that You bring them to a place of accountability. Let Your light shine in the darkness, and let Your truth prevail.
Finally, Lord, we ask that You draw this sister closer to You. Let her find her identity and worth in You alone, not in what has been stolen from her. Strengthen her faith, deepen her trust in You, and fill her with hope for the future. We thank You for Your faithfulness and for the victory that is already hers through Jesus Christ.
