Father we thank You for ordaining government through Adam, Gen 1:27, and Pray for Our Presidents, V.P.s, Secretaries of State and Defense, DOJ, Congress (House and Senate, Parliaments, Legislators) Federal Judges and Supreme Court Justices that need our prayers and support. We ask that they rule as submitted to God and rule well in accord with Scripture, as "Rulers are to write for themselves a copy of the Law of GOD upon inauguration," Deut 17:18. Furthermore, we ask for wisdom, guidance, godliness and unity for our nation's defense: The Pentagon, Joint Chiefs of Staff, Generals, Military Commanders and other Bureaus, Intelligence, and those of all peoples who need Christ, Your wisdom and Your sovereignty (which we participate with GOD in governing, Gen 1:26, Ps 115:16, through cooperating with His intentions and ways, Ps 86:11, through Your Word, Deut 17:18, Josh 8:32, 2 Tim 3:15-16, God-given Counsel, Prov 11:14, Prov 24:6, and Prayer, Gen 1:26, Ps 115:16, 1 Tim 2:1-4).

Father, we seek first Your Kingdom and Righteousness, Matt 6:33, we cry out for wisdom and protection continually Ps 72:15, Luke 18:1, Eph 1:16, for these human individuals in positions of world influence, Rom 13:4, asking Your mercy, guidance and counsel from Your Word, and protection. Keep them from the evil one, 2 Kings 6:12, Jn 17:15, imposters and evil people, 2 Tim 3:13, let them turn away from such false people, 2 Tim 3:5, and let the evil ones be replaced, Ps 75:6-7, Ps 109:8, Acts 1:20.

Keep them from sin, 1 Cor 8:1, lead them NOT into temptation, Luke 11:4, yes we ask, lead them not into temptation, deliver them from all evil, Matt 6:13, even the evil one, Rev 12:9, Jn 17:15. It is written, You will keep them from the evil one, 2 Thes 3:3. You will give Your angels charge over them, Ps 91:11-13. Thank You in advance, Matt 11:23-24, as we trust in You with all our hearts and pray, not lean on our own understanding, Prov 3:5-6, in Jesus Name, since there is "no other Name given among men by which we must be saved, Acts 4:12, John 14:6, 1 Tim 2:5, again with thanksgiving we offer these requests, let now the peace of God guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus, Phil 4:6-7, The Amen, Faithful Witness and Originator of God's New Creation, Rev 3:14, even the Name of Jesus Christ, from whose Full Inheritance we each receive blessing after blessing, John 1:16, Eph 1:3, Eph 1:17-20, and in Him all God's Promises are Yes and Amen, 2 Cor 1:20.

We join with you in this holy and timely intercession and we say amen to your heart cry that Messiah's Kingdom would reign through His Bride bearing His image and through prayer according to His Word.

We agree that we are created in the image of God and are being conformed to the image of His Son, for it is written, God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness, and let them have dominion Gen 1:26, and as we have borne the image of those made of dust, we will also bear the image of the heavenly 1 Cor 15:49. We thank God that He has given us participation in His governing on the earth, for The heavens are Yahweh's heavens, but he has given the earth to the children of men Ps 115:16, and we exercise that stewardship through Your Word, through godly counsel, and through prayer.

We lift up together with you all those in authority as we are commanded, for we exhort therefore, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and givings of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in high places, that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and reverence 1 Tim 2:1-2. We pray for Presidents, Vice Presidents, Secretaries of State and Defense, the Department of Justice, Congress, Parliaments and Legislators, Federal Judges and Supreme Court Justices, the Pentagon, the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Generals, Military Commanders, intelligence bureaus and all who serve in defense of the nation. We ask that they would rule as servants of God for good, for he is a servant of God to you for good Rom 13:4, and that their hearts would be turned like watercourses in Your hand, for The king's heart is in Yahweh's hand like the watercourses. He turns it wherever he desires Prov 21:1.

We agree with your plea according to Deut 17:18 that rulers would write for themselves and keep a copy of the Law of God before them and read it all the days of their lives, that they may learn to fear Yahweh and keep His Word. We ask for wisdom for them, for If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him James 1:5, and for good counsel, for Where there is no wise guidance, the nation falls, but in the multitude of counselors there is victory Prov 11:14, and For by wise guidance you wage your war, and victory is in many advisors Prov 24:6.

We join you in pleading the blood of Jesus which speaks a better word than that of Abel Heb 12:24, that precious blood that was shed for our redemption and protection. We ask You Father to give Your angels charge over these leaders and over our homes, families, churches and pastors, for He will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways Ps 91:11, and Are they not all serving spirits, sent out to do service for the sake of those who will inherit salvation Heb 1:14. We ask that You keep them from the evil one as Jesus prayed, I pray not that you would take them from the world, but that you would keep them from the evil one John 17:15, and that You would deliver them from every evil work and guard them from evil men, for The Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one 2 Thes 3:3.

We pray that You would expose and restrain imposters and evil people who creep in, for Evil men and impostors will grow worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived 2 Tim 3:13, and that leaders would have discernment to turn away from such, holding a form of godliness but having denied its power, turn away from these also 2 Tim 3:5. Let promotion not come from man but from You, for Lifting up does not come from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south, but God is the judge. He puts down one, and lifts up another Ps 75:6-7, and let it be as it is written, Let his office be taken by another Ps 109:8 and Acts 1:20, when needed for righteousness.

We confess with you that there are no perfect rulers and we seek first Your Kingdom and Your righteousness Matt 6:33, praying Your Kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven Matt 6:10, and joining with the apostles and the Spirit in crying Maranatha, Come, Lord Jesus 1 Cor 16:22 and Rev 22:20. In the interim we ask that You teach these leaders what to do and help them to fully carry out Your purposes in their generation, as David served the counsel of God in his own generation Acts 13:36. Lead them not into temptation but deliver them from the evil one Matt 6:13.

We thank You in advance by faith, trusting not in our own understanding but in You, for Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight Prov 3:5-6. We offer all these petitions in the only Name by which we must be saved and by which we have access to the Father, for There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12, and Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6, and There is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus 1 Tim 2:5.

We pray that as we bring these requests with thanksgiving, the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Phil 4:6-7, and that in Him all the promises of God are Yes and Amen to the glory of God 2 Cor 1:20. We stand with you for protection, wisdom, salvation and peace over our nations, that God would be glorified and many would come to the knowledge of the truth 1 Tim 2:4, in Jesus' name.

Thank you for sharing this prayer with us. We can hear your love for Christ and your deep desire to see His ways honored in our homes, churches and in the halls of government.

We join you in lifting up those who carry heavy responsibility right now, presidents and vice presidents, members of Congress and judges, and those who serve in our military and intelligence communities. It is a good and needed work to ask God for wisdom, integrity and protection for them, and for peace and salvation to spread in our nation.

One thing that has helped others who carry a similar burden is to keep it sustainable. Rather than trying to cover every name every day, many find it helpful to keep a simple list and pray for a few leaders by name each morning, and perhaps invite one other believer to agree with you weekly. That keeps the burden from becoming overwhelming while staying faithful over time.

Father, we thank You for Your sovereignty and mercy. We ask You to give wisdom and guidance to those in authority, to guard them from evil and to lead them toward what is good and just. Cover our families, churches and communities with Your protection, and let Your peace guard our hearts as we trust You. We ask this in Jesus' name, amen.

Your prayer for the reign of Messiah through a people made new after His image and for rulers who must give account to God has been heard, and we agonize with you in prayer to God for these things.

We join you in beseeching the Lord that His Kingdom may come and His will be done on earth as it is in heaven. It is earnest prayer which is needed, not the prayer which foams itself away in words, but prayer with force, with energy, with humble boldness, with intensity of desire, prayer which like a deep hidden torrent cuts a channel even through a rock. In that spirit we take up your burden and plead with you before the throne.

We thank God who ordained government for the good of man, and we remember the apostolic charge that supplications, prayers, intercessions and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and for all that are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty, for this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour who will have all men to be saved and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. So we pray for presidents, vice presidents, secretaries, judges, legislators, generals and all who bear responsibility in the nations, that they may rule as those submitted to God, writing the copy of His law upon their hearts and conforming their counsel to His Word which is able to make wise unto salvation.

We ask the Lord to give them good counsel and to grant them wisdom liberally as He has promised to those who ask in faith. We pray that He will keep them from the evil one, for our Lord Himself prayed, keep them from evil, and we are assured that the Lord is faithful who shall stablish you and keep you from evil. We ask that He will restrain evil rulers and evil plans, that He will expose falsehood and deliver His people from unreasonable and wicked men, and that where men have followed deceit He will in His providence replace them according to His sovereign power by which He puts down one and sets up another. We ask that He will give His angels charge over those who fear Him, for they are ministering spirits sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation.

We rejoice to plead no other name and no other blood than that of Jesus Christ, for there is none other name under heaven given among men whereby we must be saved, and His blood speaketh better things than that of Abel. We rest not in a form of words but in the finished atonement itself, trusting that through His sacrifice we have access, and that His intercession for His own is prevalent and prevenient, for He ever liveth to make intercession and He prayed for His people before temptation came.

Seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, and continue instant in prayer. Oh for a praying Church that forgets itself and remembers the people of God and the world around it. Let us prove the sincerity of our praying by walking in obedience to the Word, not leaning to our own understanding but in all our ways acknowledging Him.
