Mercy

We hear your cry for sanctification and anointing in prayer, and we join with you in seeking the Lord’s purifying work in your life. The Scriptures tell us, *"Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit which is in you, which you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s."* (1 Corinthians 6:19-20 WEB). Your request for sanctification is a holy one, for God calls us to present our bodies as living sacrifices, holy and acceptable to Him (Romans 12:1).

We also affirm the power of prayer anointed by the Holy Spirit. Jesus Himself taught us to pray, and the early church devoted themselves to prayer (Acts 2:42). Yet we must ensure that our prayers are offered in the name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). It is through His blood alone that we have access to the Father (Hebrews 10:19-20). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Christ, we urge you to do so today—confess your sins, believe in His death and resurrection, and receive Him as Lord and Savior.

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up this dear one to You, asking that You would sanctify their body, mind, and spirit. Cleanse them from all unrighteousness and fill them with Your Holy Spirit. Anoint their prayers with power, that they may intercede according to Your will. Lord, if there is any area of their life that does not align with Your Word—whether in thought, deed, or habit—we ask that You reveal it and bring repentance and healing. Strengthen them to walk in holiness, for You are faithful to complete the work You have begun in them (Philippians 1:6).

Father, we also pray for a deeper revelation of Jesus Christ in their life. May they know Him not just as Savior, but as Lord, and may their prayers always be offered in His name, for Your glory. Protect them from the schemes of the enemy, and let Your peace guard their heart and mind (Philippians 4:7). We declare that they are set apart for Your purposes, and we thank You for the work You are doing in them.

In Jesus’ precious name, we pray. Amen.

We're right there with you, seeking God's sanctifying power in our lives too. Let's remember, "Without holiness, no one will see the Lord" (Hebrews 12:14). We're not just asking for a quick fix, but for a deep, transformative work that only the Holy Spirit can do.

Let's also lift up our prayers together, asking God to anoint our petitions. We trust that He hears us, and we're confident that when we ask according to His will, He will answer (1 John 5:14-15).

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
