🙇🏻 Mercy for Double Earthquake Region

Nochaeld

Beloved
🙏 Mercy, Grace, HELP in TIME of NEED, Heb 4:16, Comfort 2 Cor 1:2-3. Prevent further evil, protect women, young, elderly from exploitation, temptation, sin, evil people, imposters (cults and false prophets can do good works, Mt 7:22-23, 2 Jn 1:9-11) and the evil one, 2 Tim 3:5, 2 Tim 3:13, Tit 1:6, Matt 6:13. 🙇🏻 Father, these "thunderstorms" that leave the world reeling are intensifying and occurring more frequently, as Jesus said they would, Matt 24:7-8, so we we will believe, John 14:29, not stumble, John 6:61-63. Lest we run for the bandaid, treat the symptom and neglect the the remedy for the disease: Repentance. We ask for International Gospel Proclamation of Repentance for Forgiveness of Sins in Jesus' Name, Lk 24:46-47, revival and reformation starting from within, 2 Chron 7:13-14.

🧎🏽‍♂️We confess our sins and the sins of our nation and nations, Lev 26:40-42, Ezra 9:6-7, Neh 1:6-7, Dan 9:20, 1 Jn 1:9-10, and ask for international baptisms, discipleship and teaching of obedient faith, Mt 28:18-20, Rom 1:5. We tragically ask the same prayer as we are still praying for The Philippines for Venezuela...

🙏 Father, You and Your works are both great and marvelous, Amos 3:6, Isa 45:7, Rev 15:1-7, Rev 16:1-20. We seek You and the comfort of the Gospel to all nations, 2 Cor , laborers, churches, Isa 40:1, and rescue efforts, Eph 2:10. We're grieved that it's imaginable that over 10,000 people have died, that there may be more than that, that countless are missing and untold persons injured and ask for mercy in times like this, Hab 3:2. Jesus, we ask You rise with healing in Your Wings, Mal 4:2, and yes, of course let fear of God deepen, Prov 1:7, 9:10, and evil be hated, Prov 8:13, instead of flaunted, and as a byproduct, of preparing the way of The Lord, receive the gift of Eternal Life in Christ, Rom 6:21-23.

🆘 Help the millions of individuals affected by the earthquake, those taking shelter at the evacuation centers, and those sheltering outside the evacuation sites, 1 Tim 2:1-4. Please help find anyone still alive after the landslides, bridges and sections of roads have been wiped out. Rebuild the ruins of the apartment buildings, houses destroyed, buildings, streets, Isa 58:6-11, Isa 58:12.

📝 We ask for mercy, grace & help in time of need, Heb 4:16. We ask the Grace and Peace from The God of all comfort, 2 Cor 1:2, comfort the afflicted and panic stricken, 2 Cor 1:3-5, a LOT of heavy aftershocks (24), calm them kindly, help with the search and rescue efforts, thank You for the GOSPEL OPERATIONS being sent out to seek and save the Lost, Lk 19:10, (Your priority), raise up and send out Laborers for The Harvest, Mt 9:37-38, save sinners, 1 Tim 1:15-16.

🐑 Lord Jesus, we agree the multitudes are like sheep without a shepherd, and notice how moved You were with compassion, Mt 9:36. We firstly ask You share that SAME compassion for the multitudes with us (and Your compassion for individuals, cities, regions, states, nation even all peoples, tribes and tongues, Rev 7:9, Dan 7:14). We do agree that there should be no procrastination regarding the readiness of the harvest, Jn 4:35, for the harvest is plentiful, and the laborers painfully few, Matt 9:37-38.

🌾 We ask You for laborers for the harvest to be sent out, Lk 10:2, allow the gospel to gain traction in the hearts, lives and witness of believers, Col 1:5-6. Let Your love -- the love of Christ -- compel us, so we no longer live for ourselves, but You who died and rose again on our behalf, 2 Cor 5:14. May the love that compels us empower us to compel others to come to the Marriage Feast You prepared, Lk 14:23, having not only the words to say but how to say them, Jn 14:29, meet URGENTLY pressing needs Tit 3:14, becoming all things to all people that by all means we may win some, 1 Cor 9:22, and that is what we need more grace to be while inviting them to come in, winsome, showing You with no respect of persons, Matt 22:9-10, Lk 14:21, even having the compassion and grace to heal the blind and lame, Jn 14:12-13, that the Father is glorified in You, and as a sign that You're the Messiah, the Son of God, and that in believing people may have life in Your Name, John 20:30-31.

🙌 Thank You for revealing to Your beloved Apostle that You came into the World to DESTROY the works of the devil, 1 Jn 3:8, so guard everyone from temptation, evil, Matt 6:13, evil people, imposters, 2 Tim 3:13, and the evil one, John 17:15. With thanksgiving we offer these requests asking the peace of God not only guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus, Phil 4:6-7, but more importantly, Phil 2:3, theirs at this time. Grant repentance and save souls in that nation, 2 Pet 3:9, 1 Tim 2:1-4, thank You again, always in Jesus' Name.

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up the regions devastated by these catastrophic earthquakes. Father, Your Word tells us in Hebrews 4:16, "Let us therefore draw near with boldness to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy, and may find grace for help in time of need." We boldly approach You now, seeking Your mercy and grace for those suffering in this time of immense need.

Lord, we are grieved by the staggering loss of life, the countless missing, and the untold numbers injured. We cry out to You for mercy, as Habakkuk did, "In wrath, remember mercy" (Habakkuk 3:2). We ask that You rise with healing in Your wings (Malachi 4:2) and bring comfort to the afflicted and panic-stricken (2 Corinthians 1:3-5). Calm the hearts of those experiencing relentless aftershocks and guide the search and rescue efforts to find anyone still alive amidst the destruction.

We recognize, Father, that these events are part of the birth pains Jesus spoke of in Matthew 24:7-8, "For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom; and there will be famines, plagues, and earthquakes in various places. But all these things are the beginning of birth pains." We do not stumble at these words (John 6:61-63), but we take them as a call to readiness and repentance. We confess our sins and the sins of our nations, as Daniel did, "We have sinned, and have dealt perversely, and have done wickedly, and have rebelled, even turning aside from your precepts and from your ordinances" (Daniel 9:5). We plead for international proclamation of the Gospel, calling all to repentance for the forgiveness of sins in Jesus' name (Luke 24:46-47). Lord, send revival and reformation, starting from within the hearts of Your people, as You promised, "If my people, who are called by my name, shall humble themselves, pray, seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin, and will heal their land" (2 Chronicles 7:14).

We pray for the millions affected by this disaster, those in evacuation centers and those sheltering outside. Protect the vulnerable, especially women, children, and the elderly, from exploitation, temptation, and evil people who may seek to take advantage of their distress (2 Timothy 3:13). Guard them from imposters, false prophets, and cults that may come under the guise of doing good works (Matthew 7:22-23, 2 John 1:9-11). Deliver them from the evil one (John 17:15) and keep them from sin. Provide for their physical needs, food, water, shelter, and medical care, and rebuild the ruins of their communities, as Isaiah 58:12 declares, "Those who shall be of you shall build the old waste places. You shall raise up the foundations of many generations. You shall be called Repairer of the Breach, Restorer of Paths with Dwellings."

Father, we are moved with compassion, just as Jesus was when He saw the multitudes as sheep without a shepherd (Matthew 9:36). We ask that You share that same compassion with us, for individuals, cities, regions, and nations. The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few (Matthew 9:37-38). We urgently pray for You to send out laborers into the harvest (Luke 10:2). Let the Gospel gain traction in the hearts of believers, that they may bear fruit and grow in the knowledge of God (Colossians 1:5-6). Compel us by the love of Christ (2 Corinthians 5:14) to no longer live for ourselves but for Him who died and rose again on our behalf. May we become all things to all people, that by all means we might win some (1 Corinthians 9:22), meeting their urgent needs (Titus 3:14) and compelling them to come to the Marriage Feast You have prepared (Luke 14:23).

Lord Jesus, we thank You for coming into the world to destroy the works of the devil (1 John 3:8). We ask that You guard the hearts and minds of those in this region, that they may not fall into temptation or be led astray by evil. Let the fear of God deepen within them (Proverbs 1:7, 9:10) and may they come to hate evil (Proverbs 8:13), turning instead to You for salvation. Grant repentance and save souls in this nation (2 Peter 3:9), for You desire all people to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth (1 Timothy 2:1-4).

We lift up the Gospel operations being sent out to seek and save the lost (Luke 19:10). May they be empowered to heal the sick, cast out demons, and proclaim the Kingdom of God (John 14:12-13). Let the love of Christ compel them to act with urgency, wisdom, and grace, that many may believe and have life in Your name (John 20:30-31).

Father, we ask that the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard the hearts and minds of those affected by this disaster (Philippians 4:6-7). May they experience Your comfort, provision, and hope in the midst of their suffering. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, for there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). It is only through Jesus that we have access to You, and it is by His blood that we are reconciled to You (Ephesians 2:13, 18). We pray that many would come to know Him as Lord and Savior, receiving the gift of eternal life (Romans 6:23).

Lord, we trust in Your sovereignty, even in the midst of such devastation. You are the One who forms light and creates darkness, who makes peace and creates calamity (Isaiah 45:7). Yet, we know that Your heart is for mercy and redemption. Raise up Your people to be Your hands and feet in this broken world, that Your name may be glorified and Your Kingdom advanced. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We’ve read your prayer and we’re holding this heavy burden with you. The sheer scale of loss is staggering, so many lives cut short, so many families thrown into shock, homes and streets reduced to rubble. In times like this, grief isn’t a sign of weak faith; it’s a deeply human, God-given process. Those who survive will face waves of sorrow, numbness, anger, and slow readjustment. We simply ask God to be especially near to each one, just as He promises to be close to the brokenhearted.

One thing we’ve seen in disaster aftermath is that hearts often open in unique ways, people become more receptive to comfort and hope. That makes your prayer for gospel laborers and for protection from exploitation so timely. We join you in asking God to shield the vulnerable, women, children, the elderly, from those who might take advantage of the chaos, and to send workers full of Christ’s compassion.

What might this mean for us practically? Perhaps we can look for a trusted Christian relief agency already on the ground and give toward clean water, shelter, and trauma care. Or simply ask God to help us carry this same urgency for the gospel into our own everyday conversations. Sometimes our intercession finds its feet right where we are.

Jesus, in Your mercy, be the refuge and strength of the many thousands reeling from this earthquake. Calm the aftershocks, guide rescue teams to those still alive, and hold back every scheme of evil and deception. Let the hope of Your resurrection reach the despairing, raise up communities to rebuild, and turn hearts toward eternal life. We ask this in Your powerful name, Amen.

My heart is heavy with yours for those who suffer under this dreadful calamity. The earth has indeed removed, and the mountains are carried into the midst of the sea; but let not your heart be removed from its steadfast confidence in God. He is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth be removed. This is no mere bandage for a symptom; it is the deep remedy for the disease of our trembling souls.

Let us not think it strange that the Lord speaks through the thunder of His power. He has purposed to stain the pride of all glory, and to bring into contempt all the honorable of the earth. His choicest comforts are reserved for those who are cast down, and His tenderest mercy draws near to the wounded and the broken. For every gaping wound of grief, He has prepared the salve and bandages of His grace. He does not merely preserve His people, but He would have them comforted. "Comfort ye, comfort ye my people," saith your God. He has thought of all that a sinner needs, and provided it in abundance in Christ Jesus.

Yet in this hour, look not to mere human help nor to a gospel that flatters men in their sin. The great Messenger of the Covenant, the Interpreter, one among a thousand, is Jesus Christ, sent of God. He comes to the conscience not to approve our rebellion but to deliver us from it. Let the nations hear the proclamation: Repentance and remission of sins must be preached in His name among all nations. The cross is the pattern, God conquers death by death, and removes sin by the endurance of the penalty. There, in weakness and shame, the love of God blazes forth to save those who have no strength.

Pray then for the true comfort which establishes the heart in every good word and work. The drunkard may say of his cup, "This is my comfort," and the miser of his gold; but the child of God cries, "Thy Word has quickened me." That Word endures when all comforts fail. As you plead for the afflicted, the terrified, and the lost, ask also that the Lord would send forth laborers into His harvest, men whose own hearts are comforted, that they may compassionately call others to the marriage feast. May the love of Christ compel us, that we might compel them to come in, yet never by smoothing over the offense of the cross. Let us groan for revival that begins with ourselves, confessing our sins and the sins of our nation, as Ezra and Daniel did, trusting wholly in the tender mercy of our God.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You pray for mercy, yet consider: mercy often comes wrapped in affliction. The earthquake is not the greatest evil; the real catastrophe is a soul at ease in sin, fattened on prosperity, kicking against God. When the earth shakes, it is God shaking the world to awaken those who slumber unto death. Do not ask first that the ground be stilled; ask that hearts be shattered like the mountains, for a broken and contrite spirit God will not despise. The suffering you see, women, children, the aged, is grievous, yet what of the countless souls who live in luxury and never feel the terror of the Lord? To them, this thunder is mercy. It proclaims: Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.

You plead for protection from evil men, impostors, false prophets. But you forget that the greatest impostor is the heart that says, “I am rich, I have prospered, and I need nothing,” not knowing it is wretched, pitiable, poor, blind, and naked. Affliction strips away that delusion. When the roof falls and the gold is buried, then a man sees what he truly is, dust. And in that dust, he may finally cry out for the only wealth that endures: Christ. Do not pray to be spared all trial; pray to endure it with thanksgiving, as Paul did, who learned that strength is made perfect in weakness. He asked thrice for deliverance and was told, “My grace is sufficient for thee.” Will you instruct God otherwise? Let the aftershocks be aftershocks of grace, driving the stupefied soul to seek the unshakable kingdom.

You ask for laborers to be sent into the harvest. Here is the harvest: the rubble, the weeping, the terror. Be the laborer yourself. Do not merely intercede from a safe distance but become an imitator of the Lord by entering into the affliction of others. When the Thessalonians received the word in much affliction with joy of the Holy Spirit, they became examples. You too, if you would comfort the panic-stricken, must first be found thanking God in your own calamities. For nothing so comforts the afflicted as the sight of a believer who rejoices in tribulation, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance character, and character hope. That hope does not disappoint.

You confess sins, your own, your nation’s. Good. But confession without the fruit of repentance is a noise the wind carries away. Let the earthquake be your teacher: what is unstable must fall, what is rotten must be exposed. The houses that collapsed were not built on the rock. So with every life founded on pleasure, ease, self-will. The fear of God is the beginning of wisdom, and this fear has been sent in mercy to cut away the gangrene of complacency. Do not treat the symptom with a bandage while ignoring the disease. The disease is love of the world, and its remedy is the cross. Therefore, pray not only for the rebuilding of streets and walls, but for the raising up of living temples, souls purged by fire, cemented with tears, grounded in obedience.

Let your prayer be this: “Lord, whatsoever is pleasing to Thee, let it be. If the earth quake, if the floods come, yet I will bless Thy name. Only grant that none of these little ones perish in the everlasting ruin, but that through temporal destruction they may find eternal refuge in Christ.” For He came to destroy the works of the devil, and the devil’s masterpiece is a man who loves his life in this age more than the age to come. The earthquake shatters that love. Kiss the rod, then, and Him who appointed it. In this, you will become a true comforter, one who can say with the Apostle, “I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ’s sake.” Then, and only then, will your words carry the weight of heaven into the hearts of the despairing.
