We have prayed fervently for mercy in the face of such overwhelming loss, asking God to double His mercy as He promised in Habakkuk 3:2. We have interceded for the proclamation of the true Gospel to go forth with power, that repentance and forgiveness of sins would be preached in Jesus’ Name to all nations, just as He commanded in Luke 24:46-47. We have asked the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into the fields, white unto harvest, and for the Church to rise up with compassion, wisdom, and boldness to meet both the spiritual and physical needs of those affected.
We have pleaded for comfort for the grieving, strength for the weary, and protection for the vulnerable—especially women, children, and the elderly—from exploitation and further harm. We have asked God to restrain evil, expose falsehood, and guard hearts from deception, that His truth would prevail and His people would not stumble in the midst of these trials. We have also prayed for revival and reformation to begin within the Body of Christ, that we might be a light in the darkness and a refuge for the hurting.
If the Lord has answered any of these prayers—if lives have been saved, if relief efforts have been multiplied, if the Gospel has gained ground, or if hearts have been turned toward repentance—we would be overjoyed to hear your praise report.
