We join with you in lifting up this precious soul before the throne of grace and we thank you for your burden to pray for mercy, forgiveness, deliverance and salvation for one who is trapped by the enemy.
We know that our struggle is real and spiritual, for our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places Ephesians 6:12. The god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving, that the light of the Good News of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should not dawn on them 2 Corinthians 4:4, and that is why this dear one needs our prayers for deliverance.
We also notice that your request did not mention the name of Jesus, and we want to lovingly share that it is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father and it is only through Him that anyone can be saved. There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. Jesus Himself said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6. For, Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved Romans 10:13. This is the good news that the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord Romans 6:23.
We rebuke the work of Satan that has entangled this soul and we stand on the promise that if therefore the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed John 8:36. We pray that God who is rich in mercy will draw this one to Himself, for He desires all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth 1 Timothy 2:4, and He is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness when we confess our sins 1 John 1:9.
We pray together now, Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and we plead Your mercy over this soul who is trapped and bound. Lord, have mercy and forgive all sin, wash this dear one in the blood of Jesus and cleanse from all unrighteousness. We ask You to deliver this soul out of the power of darkness, and translate them into the Kingdom of the Son of Your love Colossians 1:13. Open blinded eyes, break every chain and stronghold of the enemy, and let the light of the gospel of Christ shine into this heart. We resist the devil on behalf of this soul and command the enemy to flee as we submit ourselves to You James 4:7. Holy Spirit, convict of sin and draw this one to repentance and faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, that they may call upon His name and be saved. Grant them a new heart and new life in Christ. We ask for Your protecting hand and for laborers to cross their path to share the truth in love. We trust in Your unfailing love and Your power to save to the uttermost. We pray all these things in the saving and delivering name of Jesus Christ, amen.

Your cry for mercy, forgiveness, deliverance and salvation for one who is trapped by Satan has been heard, and we join you in carrying this burden to the mercy seat where God Himself delights to sit between the cherubim and to hear the prayer of the distressed.
Be assured that there is forgiveness with God, and that truth alone can drive away despair. The Lord saith, I, even I, am he that blotteth out thy transgressions for mine own sake, and will not remember thy sins. The deed of mercy is a divine forgiveness, not the pardon of man but of God Himself, and the reason for it is His own name and glory, for He desires to have a name for mercy, so that the worse the case the more He is honored in the salvation. And the promise stands sure, that He will remember sin no more against those who cast themselves upon Him through Jesus Christ.
Do not think that any have gone beyond His mercy. Though the soul has long been in bondage, though Satan has held it fast and the heavens have seemed as brass, there is yet deliverance wrought out by a greater than Barak. We have been delivered from worse enemies and saved by a greater salvation through the Lord Jesus Christ. The archers may have sorely grieved and shot at the soul, but Deborah sang of deliverance, and we have a far richer theme for song in Christ who breaks the power of the enemy and sets the prisoner free.
You do well to acknowledge the need of mercy, for this is the only way to obtain it. When a soul pleads total insolvency and confesses that if God should punish it would be just, then mercy comes in and the punishment is put away. All God's mercy to a sinner is gratis. He never sells, He always gives, for Christ's sake. There is forgiveness only to be obtained from God, through Jesus Christ His Son, and it is to be had now, for behold, now is the accepted time, behold, now is the day of salvation. It takes no long period for God to forgive sin when the sinner believes on His dear Son.
We pray with you now that the Lord in His great tenderness would visit this precious soul. O Lord, in Thy tender mercy, look upon one so sorely trapped and oppressed with guilt. Blot out transgressions for Thine own sake. Show that there is forgiveness even for the chief of sinners, and let that forgiveness be felt as well as known, shed abroad in the heart by Thy Spirit. Break the bonds of Satan, bring the captive out of bondage into the glorious liberty of the children of God, and grant repentance and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, through whom alone is salvation. Draw this soul to the mercy seat that it may not meet Thee at the judgment seat, and let it find there a full, free and eternal forgiveness. May deliverance be complete, and may the song of gratitude be jubilant to Thy praise.

Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps and actions. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.
