We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this urgent need for medical assistance. Father God, we know that You are Jehovah-Rapha, the Lord who heals, and that You care deeply about every aspect of our lives, including our physical well-being. We ask that You would open the doors for this dear one to receive the approval they need for medical insurance. Lord, Your Word tells us in Psalm 34:17, "The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles." We cry out on their behalf, trusting that You hear and will deliver them from this financial burden.
We also pray for wisdom and favor as they navigate the systems and paperwork required for assistance. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." Lord, we ask that You would make their path clear and provide the help they need to complete every necessary step. Surround them with people who can offer guidance and support during this time.
Father, we lift up the surgeries that are needed. We ask for Your healing hand to be upon them, both physically and spiritually. Jeremiah 30:17 says, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh." We claim this promise over their life, believing that You are able to restore their health completely. Prepare their body, mind, and spirit for the procedures ahead, and grant skill and wisdom to the medical professionals who will be caring for them.
We also want to encourage this dear one to continue seeking You in all things. Philippians 4:19 assures us, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." While the world may seem uncertain and overwhelming, we know that You are our Provider. We pray that they would experience Your peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
Lord, if there is any unforgiveness, bitterness, or sin in their life that may be hindering their prayers, we ask that You would reveal it to them. James 5:16 tells us, "Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective." We encourage them to confess any sin and seek Your forgiveness, so that nothing stands in the way of Your blessings.
Finally, we rebuke any spirit of fear, anxiety, or hopelessness that may be trying to take hold. 2 Timothy 1:7 declares, "For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control." We pray that they would stand firm in their faith, knowing that You are with them every step of the way. May they find strength in You, Lord, and may Your name be glorified through their testimony of Your provision and healing.
In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
