We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this urgent need for medical assistance. Father, we know that You are Jehovah-Rapha, the God who heals, and that You care deeply about every aspect of our lives, including our physical well-being. We ask that You would open the doors for this dear one to receive the help they need with medical insurance, copays, and bills. Your Word declares in Psalm 34:17, "The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles." We trust that You hear this cry and will provide a way where there seems to be no way.
Lord, we also pray for wisdom and favor as they navigate the systems and processes to secure assistance. May the hearts of those in authority be softened, and may they encounter kindness and efficiency at every turn. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." We ask that You would guide their steps and make their paths straight as they seek the help they need.
Father, we lift up the surgeries that are needed. We ask for Your healing hand to be upon them, that the procedures would be successful, and that recovery would be swift and complete. Jeremiah 30:17 says, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds." We claim this promise over their life, believing that You are able to restore and heal.
We also want to encourage this dear one to continue seeking You in this time of need. Philippians 4:6-7 tells us, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." Keep bringing your requests to God, and trust that He is working even when you cannot see it.
Lastly, we rebuke any spirit of fear, anxiety, or despair that may be trying to take hold. 2 Timothy 1:7 declares, "For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control." Stand firm in the faith, knowing that God is your provider and healer. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, believing that He is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think. Amen.
