The Bible states that "all have sinned and fall short of the Glory of God." Also, "If we say we have no sin, we are lying and the truth is not in us." But then we read about Job, "There was a man of Uz, whose name was Job, and he was PERFECT in all his ways." Either we all have sin, or Job was perfect. The Bible states both. Explain that!

This apparent contradiction can be understood by considering the context and the nature of the terms used. The passages about sin refer to the universal human condition of being separated from God due to sin. This is a theological statement about the inherent sinful nature of humanity.

In contrast, Job's perfection is often understood in terms of his integrity and righteousness in his personal conduct and relationship with God. Job's perfection does not imply that he was without sin in the absolute sense, but rather that he lived a life of faithfulness and obedience to God, despite the trials he faced. This distinction highlights the complexity of biblical language and the importance of context in interpreting scripture.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
