Beloved of All
May God đź‘‘ Reign through Rulers by His Word, Gen 1:26-27, Deut 17:18, Good Counsel, Prov 24:6, and Prayers for Peace, Salvation, 1 Tim 2:1-4, Protection from Falsehood, Imposters, "Moles" 2 Tim 3:13, Leaks, Evil Plans -- Rather Intercept Evil Plans as Elisha, 2 Kings 6:12, Protection from False Believers, 2 Tim 3:5, Tit 1:16, 2 Cor 11:26...

Father we thank You for ordaining government through Adam, and Pray for Our Presidents, V.P.s, Secretaries of State and Defense, DOJ, Congress (House and Senate, Parliaments, Legislators) Federal Judges and Supreme Court Justices that need our prayers and support. We ask that they rule as submitted to God and rule well in accord with Scripture, as "Rulers are to write for themselves a copy of the Law of GOD upon inauguration," Deut 17:18. Furthermore, we ask for wisdom, guidance, godliness and unity for our nation's defense: The Pentagon, Joint Chiefs of Staff, Generals, Military Commanders and other Bureaus, Intelligence, and those of all peoples who need Christ, Your wisdom and Your sovereignty (which we participate with GOD in governing, Gen 1:26, Ps 115:16, through cooperating with His intentions and ways, Ps 86:11, through Your Word, Deut 17:18, Josh 8:32, 2 Tim 3:15-16, God-given Counsel, Prov 11:14, Prov 24:6, and Prayer, Gen 1:26, Ps 115:16, 1 Tim 2:1-4).

Father, we seek first Your Kingdom and Righteousness, Matt 6:33, we cry out for wisdom and protection continually Ps 72:15, Luke 18:1, Eph 1:16, for these human individuals in positions of world influence, Rom 13:4, asking Your mercy, guidance and counsel from Your Word, and protection. Keep them from the evil one, 2 Kings 6:12, Jn 17:15, imposters and evil people, 2 Tim 3:13, let them turn away from such false people, 2 Tim 3:5, and let the evil ones be replaced, Ps 75:6-7, Ps 109:8, Acts 1:20.

We concede that there are no perfect rulers and actually see the wisdom in asking, "Your Kingdom Come, Your Will Be Done on Earth as it is in Heaven, Matt 6:10. Come Lord Jesus.

In the interim, let these leaders know what to do, James 1:5, what to set as priorities and help them FULLY carry out Your purposes in their generation, as King David served Your purposes, Acts 13:36. Keep them from sin, 1 Cor 8:1, lead them NOT into temptation, Luke 11:4, yes we ask, lead them not into temptation, deliver them from all evil, Matt 6:13, even the evil one, Rev 12:9, Jn 17:15. It is written, You will keep them from the evil one, 2 Thes 3:3. You will give Your angels charge over them, Ps 91:11-13. Thank You in advance, Matt 11:23-24, as we trust in You with all our hearts and pray, not lean on our own understanding, Prov 3:5-6, in Jesus Name, since there is "no other Name given among men by which we must be saved, Acts 4:12, John 14:6, 1 Tim 2:5, again with thanksgiving we offer these requests, let now the peace of God guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus, Phil 4:6-7, The Amen, Faithful Witness and Originator of God's New Creation, Rev 3:14, even the Name of Jesus Christ, from whose Full Inheritance we each receive blessing after blessing, John 1:16, Eph 1:3, Eph 1:17-20, and in Him all God's Promises are Yes and Amen, 2 Cor 1:20.

We join with you in this faithful and timely prayer for those in authority and we say amen to your desire that God reign through rulers by His Word.

We agree that government is ordained by God and that He has called mankind to steward the earth under His sovereignty. As it is written, God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness. Let them have dominion Gen 1:26, and The heavens are Yahweh's heavens, but the earth has he given to the children of men Ps 115:16. We also agree that rulers are accountable to God to know and walk by His Word, as it is written that when a king sits on the throne he shall write himself a copy of this law on a scroll Deut 17:18, and that we are to seek His ways, Teach me your way, Yahweh. I will walk in your truth Ps 86:11.

Your prayer aligns fully with the command of Scripture for us as believers. We are exhorted, I exhort therefore, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and givings of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in high places, that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and reverence. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth 1 Tim 2:1-4. We are also reminded that there is no authority except from God, and those who exist are ordained by God Rom 13:1, and that they are a servant of God to you for good Rom 13:4. Therefore we do not place our ultimate trust in princes or presidents, but in the Lord who directs their hearts, for The king's heart is in Yahweh's hand like the watercourses. He turns it wherever he desires Prov 21:1.

We pray together with you now.

Father in heaven, we come before Your throne in the name of Jesus Christ, for there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus 1 Tim 2:5, and in no other is there salvation, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. We thank You for ordaining government for order, justice, and the restraint of evil. We lift up before You our presidents, vice presidents, secretaries of state and defense, the Department of Justice, all members of Congress, parliaments and legislators, federal judges and Supreme Court justices, and all who serve in the Pentagon, the Joint Chiefs of Staff, generals, military commanders, intelligence bureaus and agencies. We ask that You grant them wisdom and that they would seek Your counsel, for Where there is no wise guidance, the nation falls, but in the multitude of counselors there is victory Prov 11:14, and For by wise guidance you wage your war, and victory is in many advisors Prov 24:6.

We ask that You teach them to govern according to Your Word and to do justice and righteousness. Give them a desire to know Your law and to be guided by it. We pray that You would surround them with godly counsel and remove from them deceitful and evil influences. Keep them from the evil one as Jesus prayed, I pray not that you would take them from the world, but that you would keep them from the evil one John 17:15, and as You have promised, But the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one 2 Thess 3:3. We ask that You expose falsehood, imposters and those who are evil, for Evil men and impostors will grow worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived 2 Tim 3:13, and that You would protect these leaders from leaks and evil plans, even as You intercepted the plans of the enemy for Elisha, and that You would cause them to turn away from those who have a form of godliness but deny its power 2 Tim 3:5. Let promotion come from You, for Lifting up does not come from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south, but God is the judge. He puts down one, and lifts up another Ps 75:6-7, and let another take his office Ps 109:8, Acts 1:20 where it is needed for righteousness to prevail.

We pray that You would give them wisdom liberally, for If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him James 1:5. Help them to know what to do and what to set as priorities, and to fully accomplish Your purposes in their generation as David served the counsel of God in his own generation and was gathered to his fathers Acts 13:36. Lead them not into temptation, but deliver them from the evil one Matt 6:13, Luke 11:4, and command Your angels concerning them to guard them in all their ways Ps 91:11. We seek first Your Kingdom and Your righteousness Matt 6:33, praying Your Kingdom come, Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven Matt 6:10, and we look for Your return, Come, Lord Jesus Rev 22:20.

We thank You in advance, trusting not in our own understanding but in You with all our hearts, for You will direct our paths Prov 3:5-6. We offer these requests with thanksgiving, and we ask that the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard our hearts and our thoughts in Christ Jesus Phil 4:6-7. We ask all this in the mighty and saving name of Jesus Christ, in whom we have every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places Eph 1:3 and from whose fullness we all received grace upon grace John 1:16, for all the promises of God in Him are Yes and Amen to the glory of God 2 Cor 1:20.

We encourage you to continue steadfastly in prayer for those in authority, praying at all times Luke 18:1 and continually remembering them before the Lord Eph 1:16, Psalm 72:15, knowing that our prayers are powerful and that God desires to use them to bring peace, salvation, and the restraint of evil in our land.

Thank you for sharing this burden so clearly. We hear your heart to see God honored in how our nation is led, and to cover those in authority with prayer for wisdom, integrity and protection.

It is a heavy list when you hold presidents, legislators, judges, military and intelligence communities before the Lord all at once. What encourages us is your desire not just for good policy but for their salvation and for them to be surrounded by good counsel and truth.

One simple way we have found helpful when the burden feels large is to keep it sustainable. Perhaps choose a small rotation through the week, a few offices or names each day, and pray briefly for wisdom, for protection from deception, and for courage to do what is right. That keeps prayer steady without growing weary, and leaves the results in God's hands.

We are joining you in this.

Father, we lift to You those who govern and serve in our nation at every level. Grant them wisdom, honest counsel, and protection from evil and falsehood. Draw many to know Christ and to seek Your will, and let Your peace and righteousness shape our land. We ask this in Jesus' name, amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your prayer for rulers and for the nation is a weighty and scriptural burden, and we join our hearts with yours before the throne of grace. Scripture indeed teaches that the Lord ordained government through Adam and that rulers are to be ministers of God for good, and the apostle exhorts that supplications, prayers, intercessions and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and for all that are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty, for this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour who will have all men to be saved and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.

There is no power like that of intercession. The secret springs that move the puppets of earth, for kings and princes are often little more than that, are the prayers of God's believing people. Religion, as you have well perceived, is not a thing for churches and chapels alone, but for countinghouses and workshops, for courts and councils and camps, and therefore we pray that those who bear rule, Presidents and Vice Presidents, Secretaries of State and Defense, judges of the high courts, Senators and Representatives, Generals, commanders and counsellors, may be governed by the Word of God. As it is written, the ruler shall write for himself a copy of the Law upon his entering upon office, that he may learn to fear the Lord and keep all the words thereof, and by wise counsel a nation is preserved, for in multitude of counsellors there is safety.

We entreat the Lord to grant them wisdom from above, that they may know what to do and what to set as priorities, and may fully carry out His purposes in their generation as David served the will of God in his generation. We ask that He will keep them from sin and lead them not into temptation, but deliver them from evil and from the evil one, and that He will intercept evil plans as He did for Elisha, when the designs of the enemy were made known before they could be executed. We pray that He will expose falsehood and keep these men from imposters and evil men who wax worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived, from leaks and from those who have a form of godliness but deny the power thereof, and that they may turn away from such. We pray that where evil men have crept in, the Lord who lifts up one and puts down another, who removes one and sets up another, will remove them and raise up those who will rule well according to Scripture, for promotion cometh neither from the east nor from the west, but God is the Judge.

We acknowledge with you that there are no perfect rulers, and therefore we cry with perseverance, Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven, and Come, Lord Jesus. Yet in the interim we will wait for the Lord, for He hath made all these things, and we will not cease to call upon His name. The test of sincerity is whether a man will always call upon God. Public prayer is no sure evidence of piety, but private, persevering prayer is that which the hypocrite has no heart for. The true child of God is always dependent upon Him for every breath and for every good thought, and will be a regular pensioner at the mercy seat and not a mere casual suppliant.

Nor are we left to pray alone, for the Spirit Himself maketh intercession for us according to the will of God, and Christ our great High Priest ever liveth to make intercession for us within the veil. Like Samuel who pleaded for the people and even spent a whole night in entreaty for Saul when he had turned aside, we will plead for those in authority, whether they heed or not, that God may yet bless and save. There is always a refuge for the believer and always a mercy seat to go to, always the bosom of Christ to fly to.

We thank God that there is none other name under heaven given among men whereby we must be saved, but the name of Jesus Christ, and that in Him all the promises of God are Yea and Amen, and that from His fullness we receive blessing after blessing. We pray that many in high place and low, of all peoples, may come to that saving knowledge, for He would have all men to be saved. May the Lord keep those for whom you pray from the evil one, give His angels charge over them, and guard your own heart and mind with the peace of God which passeth all understanding, as you continue steadfast in prayer, trusting in the Lord with all your heart and leaning not unto your own understanding.

We will bear these burdens with you before the Lord, seeking first His kingdom and His righteousness, and trusting Him to hear and to answer for His glory.

Your prayer for those in authority is good and right and according to Scripture, and we join with you in it.

God has ordained the institution of government for order and for the good of all, so that life is not carried on in confusion with people swaying like waves. This does not mean that every ruler is personally chosen by God or that every evil deed done by a ruler is from God, but that the power itself, the need for some to rule and others to be ruled for the sake of peace, is the work of His wisdom. For this reason the Apostle teaches us to pray for all who are in authority, for kings and all in high positions, that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life in all godliness and dignity, and because God desires all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth through Jesus Christ alone, for there is one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.

We pray with you that those who bear responsibility in our nation, presidents and vice presidents, legislators and judges, secretaries and commanders, and all who serve in defense and intelligence, would seek wisdom that is not merely of this world. The wisdom of this world comes to nothing and cannot by itself make a ruler truly wise, but the wisdom from above, hidden and revealed in Christ, is able to make one wise unto salvation and to teach how to govern well. As it was commanded that a king should write for himself a copy of the Law and read it all the days of his life, so we ask that these leaders would attend to the Word of God, receive good counsel, for in an abundance of counselors there is safety, and walk in the fear of the Lord.

A ruler is a steward entrusted with much, with power and influence and resources that belong to the Lord. Every steward is required to be both faithful and wise, not to misuse what is entrusted to him for harm nor for his own ruin, but to dispense it for the common advantage. So we pray that they would use what has been given to them for justice and for the protection of the innocent, and that they would not love the praise of men more than the praise of God, but would act with integrity even when it costs them honor before others.

We also join you in asking for protection, that God would guard them from the evil one, from falsehood and deceit, from flatterers and imposters and from every evil plan formed in secret. As Elisha was given to know the plans of the enemy, so we ask that evil counsels would be exposed and come to nothing, and that those who are false would be turned away from and, according to God's righteous judgment, removed from influence. We pray that God would keep these men and women from sin and from temptation, and deliver them from evil, giving His angels charge over them, and above all that He would grant them repentance and faith in Christ, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved.

We will continue to pray with you, seeking first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, trusting not in our own understanding but in Him, and asking that His will be done on earth as it is in heaven. May the peace of God guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus as you continue steadfast in prayer.
