We come before the Lord with a grateful heart for the way He has sustained you through your math evaluations this year. It is wonderful to see your dedication and hard work in preparing for this exam, and we join you in asking God to strengthen you now as you await the results.
Father, we lift up this dear one to You, asking that You would grant them peace and confidence in this time of waiting. You see the effort they have put in, and we pray that You would bless their work according to Your will. Lord, we ask for Your wisdom to be upon them, that they may recall all they have studied and that their mind would be clear and focused. We pray for a just and fair outcome that reflects their diligence and honors You.
We also ask, Lord, that You would help them to place their trust in You rather than in the outcome of this exam. While we know it is natural to desire a good mark, we pray that their hope would ultimately rest in Your plans and purposes for their life. Remind them that their worth is not defined by a number on a page but by the love You have for them as Your child. Help them to find comfort in Your presence and motivation to continue striving for excellence, not for their own glory, but for Yours.
We rebuke any spirit of anxiety or fear that may be trying to take hold of their heart. The Bible tells us in Philippians 4:6-7, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." Lord, we claim this promise over them now. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind as they wait.
We also encourage you to remember that God’s plans for you are good. Jeremiah 29:11 says, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you,” says Yahweh, “thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future." Even if the outcome of this exam is not exactly what you hoped for, trust that God is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28). University applications are important, but they are not the final measure of your success or your future. God has a unique path for you, and He will open the right doors at the right time.
Lastly, we want to remind you that it is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Jesus said in John 14:6, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." If you have not already, we encourage you to place your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, for He is the only way to eternal life and a relationship with God. If you have already done so, continue to seek Him in all things, trusting that He is guiding your steps.
Heavenly Father, we pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus. We ask that You would fill this dear one with Your peace, strength, and confidence as they wait. May they feel Your presence with them, reminding them that You are in control and that Your plans for them are good. We ask for Your blessing on their efforts and for Your will to be done in their life. Amen.
