Marriage Troubles

Dear Lord,

My husband is still at a low point in his life and it is affecting me. I just have been quiet for so long and it is reaching a breaking point for me. He has shown little concern or love towards me. He has still not admitted that he is powerless over alcohol and needs to get help. I am trying to stay strong but he is hurting me in big ways and in small ways. He neglected to give me a phone message and it was too late once I got it. He has caused me to get pulled over because the police thought it was him driving (He lost his license). Please help him come to the realization that he is in need of going into recovery for his disease soon. Help him help himself before he brings more pain into our lives. Please continue to protect our little girl from this.

I am ### years old, and the alcohol abuse clearly ruined my life. I am a walking example in bad health. I am sure it cut half of my life, and lost all of my friends that really were there for me. I hope he will listen. Neither of my parents drank at all, but the desire could have come from grand dad, wouldn't want to place blame, but beg him to get help. It was too late in my case.

Is there ANY thing that is too hard for GOD?  No not anything.  Believe in GOD and His ability to work miracles.  The Body of Christ lifts this situation up to you for healing and restoration.  Bless this person with the power to overcome the taste and longing for alcohol.  Instead put a hunger and thirst for Your righteousness deep down on the inside of not only this person but everyone all over the earth who has struggled with this longing/disease using their own strength.  Lead them to know that only by submitting themselves to You will the power of alcoholism be broken in their lives.  AMEN !!!!!!  Mighty is our GOD, Mighty is our GOD
