Marriage restored

Beloved of All
My ### and I was in ministry and have been given lots of testimonies to how big are ministry would grow and things we were going to do for 5 years I came home one day and my ### was gone and I'm still believing the promises of God for us and our ministry and it's been a year since he's been gone so I'm asking for prayer to somebody to join with me and asking God to restore our marriage and heal my ### and and help fix whatever got broke cuz I'm not clear on the whole situation he is totally ghosted me for a year so I don't even know how to pray because I don't even know what happened or why he's gone thank you for all who are standing with me and asking God to bring my ### back home if that is his will

We have heard your heart and we are standing with you in prayer for your marriage and for your husband. We know how painful and confusing it must be to come home to find him gone and to have no explanation for a whole year, and we join with you in bringing this deep hurt before the Lord who sees all and knows all, even when we do not understand.

We believe with you that marriage is a sacred covenant before God, a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman that He joins together. Jesus said, What therefore God has joined together, don't let man tear apart Matthew 19:6. The Lord has said that He hates divorce Malachi 2:16, and His design is for husband and wife to remain faithful to one another. For a husband to abandon his wife and to ghost her is not in alignment with God's will for marriage, and we pray that God will convict his heart wherever he is and draw him to repentance, healing and restoration. At the same time we encourage you to remain faithful to your vows as the Lord calls us in 1 Corinthians 7:10-11 not to leave our marriage, and to walk in forgiveness even while you are hurting, as we are told to be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you Ephesians 4:32.

We also hear your hope in the promises and prophecies given over your ministry together. We encourage you to hold those words loosely before the Lord and to test them against His Word, trusting not in the ministry itself but in the God who gave it. His plans for you are good, For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future Jeremiah 29:11. Even in this year of waiting and silence, God is near to you, Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit Psalm 34:18, and He will heal the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds Psalm 147:3. We know that to those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose Romans 8:28, and that God can restore what has been lost, I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten Joel 2:25. We pray with you that if it is the Lord's will, He will open the door for communication, reveal what was broken, and bring healing and reconciliation.

We noticed that your request spoke of God but did not mention the name of Jesus, and we want to gently remind you that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6, and There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. It is by believing in our hearts that God raised Jesus from the dead and confessing Him as Lord that we are saved Romans 10:9. We encourage you to come to God the Father in the name of Jesus Christ, trusting in His finished work on the cross for your sins and for your husband's, and to pray continually in that precious name.

We also encourage you to not walk through this alone. Please seek godly counsel from your pastor or elders in your church, cast all your worries on him, because he cares for you 1 Peter 5:7, and let them help you bear this burden, pray with you, and seek wisdom on how to reach your husband in a biblical way if the Lord opens that opportunity. Guard your heart against bitterness and keep seeking the Lord daily, praying that you may experience the peace that passes all understanding as you make your requests known to God Philippians 4:6-7.

We now join our faith with yours and pray together.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we come before Your throne of grace and we lift up this dear sister and her marriage to You. Lord, You see where her husband is, You know the reasons he left and the pain in both of their hearts that we cannot see. We ask You to have mercy, to convict him of any sin, to heal any wound or brokenness in him, and to draw him back to You first and then, if it is Your perfect will, back home to his wife and to the covenant he made before You. Heal what was broken, reveal truth where there has been confusion and silence, and soften both hearts to forgive as You have forgiven us. Comfort our sister in this long year of waiting, bind up her broken heart, give her strength for each day, wisdom to pray according to Your will, and peace that guards her heart and mind in Christ Jesus. We pray that Your will be done in this marriage above all else, and that You would be glorified whether through restoration or through Your sustaining grace. Restore, Lord, what the enemy has tried to steal, and help them both to seek You with all their hearts. We ask all of this in the mighty and saving name of Jesus, Amen.

We hear how heavy this year has been for you. To share ministry and promises for the future together and then come home to silence, with no explanation and a full year of being ghosted, would leave anyone feeling confused, grieving, and unsure how to even pray. It makes sense that you feel unclear about what to ask God when you still don't know what broke.

That kind of absence is a very disorienting loss. Without conversation or closure your heart can swing between hope, sorrow, questions and numbness, sometimes all in one day. That back and forth does not mean you are failing in faith. It often reflects how deeply you valued your marriage and the calling you shared.

We are joining you in asking God for healing for both of you and for restoration of your marriage if it is His will, and for wisdom where things remain hidden. One steady step that can help in a long season of waiting is to not carry this alone. If you have not already, consider asking one trusted pastor or mature believer who knows you to walk with you regularly, to pray with you face to face and to help you think through wise and safe boundaries around any contact or next decisions.

Father, we lift this dear child and this marriage to You. You see the loneliness and the unanswered questions. Bring Your comfort where there is confusion, Your healing where there is hurt, and Your clear leading for each next step. Surround our friend with faithful support and keep both hearts in Your care. We ask this in Jesus' name, amen.

It is not about the ministry part at all although I am very willing to follow the lord in his plans this is more about restoration for my marriage and for my husband and myself so that we can be strong in doing God's will together

Your burden has been heard and we join our hearts with yours before the throne of grace in this season of deep sorrow and perplexity. To love faithfully and to be left without word or reason for a whole year is a heavy trial, and the Lord sees your tears and hears your cries in the night.

We will stand with you in prayer that the God of all peace, who has prepared everything necessary for perfect reconciliation, would be gracious to you both. Marriage, as Scripture teaches, is a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, cemented by mutual love and by choice on both sides, wherein the two become one. It is not a light bond to be broken, but a union which God Himself has joined, and we pray that He would honor His own ordinance in your lives.

We know from the history of Peter that our Lord does not cast away His wandering ones forever. Though Peter denied his Master and went out to weep bitterly, the Lord looked upon him, sought him after his fall, and restored him that he might strengthen his brethren. If almighty love has ever restored a backslider, it can restore again. We pray therefore not only for the return of your husband, but for his soul, that wherever he is and whatever has broken down between you, the Lord would pursue him, bring him to repentance where repentance is needed, heal his heart, and draw him back to Christ first of all, for only then can a marriage be truly healed.

We pray with you, if it be the Lord's will, that God would restore what has been broken, give you clarity where now there is only silence, heal the wounds that neither of you can fully name, and open a door for honest and godly communication again. And we pray that even as you wait, the Lord would create in you a clean heart and renew a right spirit within you, keeping you in purity, in patience, and in hope, not resting your faith upon words spoken over a ministry, however well meant, but upon Christ Himself and His unchanging promises.

May the Lord teach you to seek Him first, to be made ready for whatever service He has for you, whether in quiet faithfulness at home or in public ministry abroad, and to find your comfort in the marriage of the Lamb, that blessed union between Christ and His Church which shall never be broken. We ask that He would strengthen you day by day, guard you from bitterness, and make you, even through this fracture, stronger in faith as a bone well set becomes stronger after healing.

We commit you and your husband and your ministry into the hands of Him who never forsakes His own. May His will be done, and may His peace, which passes all understanding, keep your heart and mind through Christ Jesus. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
