Marriage is meant to reflect that kind of inseparable oneness, a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman joined by God, and Jesus taught that what God has joined together, no one should separate. That is why your desire to see your marriage restored is right and good in God's eyes, and we will pray with you for healing and reconciliation.
Your fasting is a sincere expression of seeking Him, and God honors a heart that truly turns to Him. The evidence of a genuine work of God in a life is not just words or religious acts, but repentance that leads to real change and restoration. When people came to Jesus, those whose hearts were truly changed did not stay the same. They turned from their old ways, they made things right where they could, and they began to walk in a new direction with Him. Let that be your prayer during this fast, not only that God would change your wife's heart or change your situation, but that He would deeply change you from the inside out.
Continue to own your failures before God and before your wife without excuse or pressure. Ask the Lord to show you where you have been selfish, harsh, neglectful or unloving, and to teach you how to love as Christ loves. Show steady, consistent fruit over time. Love is patient and kind, it does not force or manipulate, and it respects boundaries even while it remains faithful and hopeful. While you are separated, pursue holiness, seek wise and godly counsel, stay rooted in Scripture and prayer, and demonstrate through your actions that your repentance is real.
