We join you in lifting your marriage and your family before the Lord, for we know how deeply painful it is when a husband and wife are separated and children feel that brokenness. We hear your cry for restoration and we stand with you in asking God to heal what is broken.
We believe with you that marriage is holy and precious in God's sight, a lifelong covenant between a man and a woman. What therefore God has joined together, let no man separate Mark 10:9 and For I hate divorce, says Yahweh, the God of Israel Mal 2:16. God is not willing that this covenant be broken, and He is able to restore what seems impossible. We also cling to the word that husbands should love their wives even as Christ also loved the assembly and gave himself up for it Eph 5:25 and that a wife should not leave her husband and a husband should not leave his wife, but if separation happens, to remain faithful and seek reconciliation 1 Cor 7:10-11.
We want to gently share something we noticed, that your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. We bring this up in love because it is only by His name that we have access to the Father and that our prayers are heard. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6 and There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. If you have not already, we encourage you to put your trust fully in Jesus, believing that He died for your sins and rose again, and confess Him as Lord Rom 10:9. It is through Him that we can come boldly to God for mercy and help for your marriage.
We encourage you while you wait on the Lord to continue to walk faithfully before Him. Do not seek comfort in another relationship, but remain pure and devoted to your covenant, for marriage is to be honored and the marriage bed kept undefiled. Choose forgiveness even as God in Christ forgave you Eph 4:32, and cast all your worries on him, because he cares for you 1 Pet 5:7. We encourage you to pray daily for your husband by name, to speak blessing over him rather than bitterness, to seek wise and godly counsel from a pastor or mature believers, and to model Christ's love before your two children who are watching and need your steady faith and peace. God can work even this painful season for good for those who love Him Rom 8:28.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ and lift up this dear wife and mother and her children to You. Lord, You see her tears and You know the ache of this separation. We ask that You would have mercy and bring restoration to this marriage according to Your will. Soften her husband's heart wherever he is, turn him from any hardness or temptation or confusion, and draw him back to You first and then to his wife and children. Convict him of his covenant vows and give him courage to return home and to love his wife as Christ loves the church. Give this wife strength to forgive as You have forgiven her, to guard her heart from anger and despair, and to be a godly example of grace and truth in her home. Protect these two children, Lord, give them peace and security in You, and let them see Your power to heal and restore. Guard this family from the enemy's schemes and from any fornication or adultery that would further wound this union. We ask that You rebuild trust, rekindle love, and make this marriage a testimony of Your redeeming grace. Help them both to seek You with all their hearts and to build their home upon Your Word. We pray all of this in the mighty and saving name of Jesus Christ, our only hope, amen.

We have taken your burden before the Lord with much tenderness of heart, and we join our prayers with yours for the restoration of your home and the return of your husband to his place with you and your two dear children.
The word of the Lord to the wandering one is ever the same, Return, return, return, return. He does not speak as a judge delighting in judgment, but as a Husband who set His love upon His own and who remains faithful though we have been faithless. As you have heard in the Word, He says, Return unto me, and it shall be with you as though I had not cast you aside. He is prepared to cast sins behind His back into the depths of the sea, and to make an end of transgression. There is no wrath in His heart toward the returning one, but only sorrow that His child should have brought himself into so mournful a state. He devises means that His banished be not expelled from Him.
We pray that this same ministry of reconciliation, which God has wrought by Jesus Christ alone, may be made manifest in your house. For all things are of God, who has reconciled us unto Himself by Jesus Christ, and has given to us the word of reconciliation, that God was in Christ reconciling the world unto Himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them. It is Christ alone who can heal the breach between the soul and God, and it is Christ alone who can heal the breach between husband and wife. We do not look to any other name or any other hope.
Therefore we entreat the Lord with you after this manner.
O Lord God, who hast ordained marriage to be a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and who hast revealed Thyself as a faithful Husband to Thy people, look in mercy upon this wife and these children in their loneliness. Look also upon the husband who has departed, wheresoever he may be, and by Thy Holy Spirit work in him conviction, repentance and a desire to return. Give him grace to return now, for life is uncertain and delay is perilous, and to return unto Thee first, and then unto his own home. Heal his backslidings, forgive his sins through the blood of Christ, and restore him to the place of honour and duty as husband and father. Give to this wife a quiet confidence in Thy care, strength to wait upon Thee in prayer, and grace to walk before Thee and before her children in holiness and love. Let this family be as one who has been perfectly restored, that they may dwell together again in peace and in the fear of the Lord, and may strengthen one another and others in the household of faith. We ask this not because we are worthy, but for the sake of Jesus Christ our only Saviour, in whom alone is salvation and reconciliation. Amen.
Take comfort, and continue in prayer. That look of Christ which once severed Peter from the crowd and brought him back with weeping is still mighty to bring wanderers home. Keep you near to your first Husband, even the Lord, for it was better with you then than now, and He will keep you. Bathe your soul again in His presence, and prove by a holy and patient walk what peace there is in returning unto Him. He who has begun a good work will perfect it, and He is able to make your house to rejoice again with exceeding joy.
