Strong 11

Disciple of Prayer
Please continue to pray for our marriage. Satan continues attacking us. Heal me, Lord, I feel depressed and I can't focus on applying for work. I have no confidence and I have emotional distress. Pray for my husband; he is planning on his own in everything he wants.

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this marriage that is under fierce attack from the enemy. The Word of God declares, "For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places" (Ephesians 6:12 WEB). We recognize that Satan seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10 WEB). We stand firm in faith, knowing that no weapon formed against this marriage shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against it in judgment will be condemned (Isaiah 54:17 WEB).

We rebuke the spirit of division, pride, and independence that has taken root in this home. The Lord hates hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked schemes, feet that are swift in running to evil, a false witness who pours out lies, and a person who stirs up conflict in the family (Proverbs 6:16-19 WEB). We command these spirits to flee in the mighty name of Jesus! We declare that this husband and wife are one flesh, and what God has joined together, let no man—or spirit—separate (Matthew 19:6 WEB).

Father, we cry out for healing in this dear sister’s heart and mind. The depression and emotional distress she is experiencing are not from You. Your Word says, "The thief only comes to steal, kill, and destroy. I came that they may have life, and may have it abundantly" (John 10:10 WEB). We plead the blood of Jesus over her mind, emotions, and will. Restore her confidence, Lord, for You have not given her a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7 WEB). Strengthen her to seek employment with diligence, knowing that You will supply all her needs according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19 WEB). We declare that she is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14 WEB), and her worth is found in You alone.

We also lift up this husband, who is making plans independently, seemingly without regard for the unity of his marriage. Father, we ask that You break the spirit of self-sufficiency and pride in his life. Your Word warns, "Pride goes before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall" (Proverbs 16:18 WEB). Soften his heart, Lord, and remind him that two are better than one because they have a good reward for their labor. For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow; but woe to him who is alone when he falls and doesn’t have another to lift him up (Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 WEB). We pray that he would seek Godly counsel and submit his plans to You, for "there is a way which seems right to a man, but in the end it leads to death" (Proverbs 14:12 WEB). Draw him back to his wife, Lord, and restore the love, respect, and partnership that You intended for their marriage.

We also address the spiritual warfare that is raging in this home. The enemy is not content to merely disrupt—he wants to destroy. But we declare that greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4 WEB). We take up the full armor of God: the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the shoes of the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is Your Word (Ephesians 6:13-17 WEB). We stand firm, resisting the devil, and he will flee (James 4:7 WEB).

Father, we ask that You would pour out Your Holy Spirit upon this marriage. Let Your love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control overflow in their lives (Galatians 5:22-23 WEB). Teach them to bear one another’s burdens and so fulfill the law of Christ (Galatians 6:2 WEB). Restore the years that the locusts have eaten (Joel 2:25 WEB), and let them see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living (Psalm 27:13 WEB).

We pray for open communication, humility, and a willingness to seek reconciliation. Help them to confess their faults to one another and pray for one another, that they may be healed (James 5:16 WEB). Let them remember their vows before You and choose to love one another as Christ loved the church (Ephesians 5:25 WEB). We declare that this marriage will not only survive but thrive, becoming a testimony of Your redeeming power and grace.

In the mighty name of Jesus, we command every assignment of the enemy against this marriage to be dismantled. We declare breakthrough, restoration, and revival in this home. May they rise up as a united front, stronger than ever, and bring glory to Your name. Amen.

We're here with you, dear sister, standing in the gap for your marriage. We know the enemy's attacks can feel overwhelming, but remember, greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world. We claim God's promise in Psalm 30:5, "Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning."

We lift up your emotional distress and depression before the Lord. We ask that He would heal your heart and mind, filling you with His peace and joy. We declare that your confidence will be restored, and you will walk in the freedom and abundance that Jesus promised. We pray that you would have the strength and courage to apply for jobs, knowing that God will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus.

For your husband, we ask that the Lord would soften his heart and remind him of the unity and partnership that God intended for your marriage. We pray that he would seek Godly counsel and submit his plans to the Lord. We declare that your marriage will not only survive but thrive, becoming a testimony of God's redeeming power and grace.

We also bind the spirit of division, pride, and independence that has been trying to take root in your home. We command these spirits to flee in the mighty name of Jesus. We declare that your husband and you are one flesh, and what God has joined together, let no man or spirit separate.

In Jesus' name, we command every assignment of the enemy against your marriage to be dismantled. We declare breakthrough, restoration, and revival in your home. May you rise up as a united front, stronger than ever, and bring glory to God's name. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We are deeply grateful that you entrusted us with the privilege of standing in prayer with you for the restoration of your marriage. It is our heart’s desire to lift you both before the Lord, especially as you face the enemy’s attacks. We continue to pray for healing over your heart, mind, and spirit—asking God to lift the weight of depression and restore your focus, confidence, and peace. May He open doors for work and provide clarity in this season.

We also pray for your husband, that the Lord would soften his heart, draw him closer to Him, and align his plans with God’s will. May the Holy Spirit work powerfully in both of your lives, breaking down walls of independence and rebuilding trust, love, and unity in your marriage.

If God has moved in answer to these prayers, we would be overjoyed to hear a praise report so we can rejoice with you. If the battle still rages, please know we are here to lift you up again—do not hesitate to share your request anew so we may continue to intercede on your behalf.

May the Lord strengthen you, comfort you, and remind you of His unfailing love as you seek Him through His Son, Jesus Christ. We pray all these things in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.
