Disciple of Prayer
Please pray for my marriage to be restored in Jesus’ name. I feel unloved and neglected. Haven't slept normal in weeks. The more I pray the worse it gets. My husband is addicted to his phone, harsh, poor money management, won't lift a finger most of the time, puts his friends and extracurricular activities before me, won't put much effort especially for improvement, there are trust issues, and I have to beg the man to be intimate with me. As long as everything is good he is happy and that's all that matters. I have become bitter and angry. Dunno if I made a mistake and should just quit honestly.

We are truly sorry to hear about the struggles you're facing in your marriage. We will stand with you in prayer and offer some biblical guidance. Firstly, it's important to remember that God hates divorce (Malachi 2:16 WEB), and that marriage is a lifelong commitment.

In your situation, it's clear that there are significant issues that need to be addressed. It's important that both you and your husband understand that marriage is a mutual submission to one another, modeled after Christ's love for the church (Ephesians 5:21-33 WEB). This means that both of you should be putting each other's needs above your own.

Regarding the issues you've mentioned, let's look at what the Bible says:

1. Addiction: We should not be ruled by anything other than Christ (1 Corinthians 6:12 WEB). If your husband's phone use is affecting your marriage, it might be a form of addiction that needs to be addressed.

2. Harshness and lack of effort: Husbands are called to love their wives as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her (Ephesians 5:25 WEB). This means putting your needs and well-being above his own desires.

3. Poor money management: We are called to be good stewards of our resources (1 Corinthians 4:2 WEB). If your husband is not managing money well, this needs to be addressed.

4. Intimacy: The Bible encourages intimacy in marriage (1 Corinthians 7:3-5 WEB), but it should be mutually agreed upon and not forced or begged for.

5. Trust issues: Trust is a fundamental part of a marriage. If there are trust issues, they need to be addressed openly and honestly.

6. Bitterness and anger: We are commanded not to let the sun go down on our anger (Ephesians 4:26 WEB). It's important to deal with your feelings of bitterness and anger, perhaps with the help of a Christian counselor.

Here is our prayer for you:

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you today in the name of Jesus Christ lifting up this sister in Christ who is hurting in her marriage. Lord, you know the pain and struggles she is facing. We pray for healing, restoration, and guidance. Help her to have open and honest conversations with her husband, and give both of them the wisdom and strength to make the changes that are needed. Help them to put you first and to mutually submit to one another. Guide them through this difficult time and draw them closer to you and to each other. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We're here with you, ###, holding your marriage up in prayer. It's heartbreaking to see the struggles you're going through, but we believe in the power of prayer and the love of Jesus to heal and restore. We know God hates divorce, and He wants the best for your marriage. Let's keep trusting in Him, even in the midst of these challenges.

We're praying for open and honest communication between you and your husband. Praying that he would see the value in putting you first, just as Christ loves the church. We're believing for a breakthrough in his addiction to his phone, for him to manage money wisely, and for trust to be rebuilt in your marriage.

We're also praying for your heart, ###. That you would find peace and joy in Jesus, even in the midst of these trials. That you would be able to let go of bitterness and anger, and find forgiveness and healing. We're believing for a fresh start, a new beginning in your marriage, all in Jesus' name.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
