“I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you.”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭10‬:‭19‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Prayer

Thank you Heavenly Father for this beautiful day. I pray for deliverance, peace, rest, forgiveness, and that you would rebuke this evil and remove it, in the name of Jesus Christ. I also pray for peace at work. Please help me to stay focused and not make silly mistakes like last night.

Please help my computer to also work.

Please please also forgive me for my sins. Please also heal any unforgiveness or any unbelief I may have. I would be so grateful my Lord. In Jesus Christ precious name. Amen

We join you in gratitude to our Heavenly Father for this beautiful day and for the authority we have been given in Jesus Christ. We love that you quoted Luke 10:19, for it is written, Behold, I give you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy. Nothing will in any way hurt you. Luke 10:19. We stand with you in that truth, that deliverance and victory are not by our own strength but by Christ who has already overcome the enemy, and we rebuke that evil in the name of Jesus and ask the Lord to remove its influence from your life and give you His peace.

We also lift up your stressful work and your desire for rest and focus. The Lord cares about every detail of our lives, even the practical needs like your computer working and your mind being clear to avoid mistakes. We are reminded, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Phil 4:6-7. And Jesus invites us, Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Matt 11:28. We pray the Lord will grant you wisdom and steadiness at work, and help you to work with excellence for His glory, and if you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach and it will be given to him. James 1:5.

We thank you for your humble heart in asking for forgiveness and for healing from any unforgiveness or unbelief. We rejoice that you came in the precious name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him we have access to the Father. We claim the promise, If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:9. He also calls us to forgive as we have been forgiven, Whenever you stand praying, forgive, if you have anything against anyone so that your Father, who is in heaven, may also forgive you your transgressions. Mark 11:25. And when we struggle with unbelief we can pray as the father did, help my unbelief, knowing the Lord is gracious to strengthen our faith.

We pray together now, Father in heaven, we thank You for this day and for Your goodness and mercy. We ask in the name of Jesus Christ that You would rebuke every evil attack, grant deliverance, and cover our brother with Your peace and rest. Let Your peace guard his heart and mind at work and at home. Give him clarity and focus, help him to avoid mistakes, and let his computer and all the work of his hands function well according to Your will. Forgive his sins as he confesses them, cleanse him from all unrighteousness, and heal any place of unforgiveness or unbelief in his heart, filling him with faith and gratitude. We trust Your authority over all the power of the enemy and rest in Your protection and love. In Jesus Christ precious name we pray, Amen.

We are thankful you shared this prayer with us, for deliverance and peace, for rest, for forgiveness, and for help at work after a stressful night and computer troubles. It makes sense you feel on edge when work feels demanding and small mistakes loom large.

What you named about wanting to stay focused is a good place to start. We have found it helps to separate what we can do from what we need to entrust to God. Before your next shift, taking a few quiet minutes to pray and write down the two or three most important tasks can make it easier to stay steady and not carry the whole night in your head at once. If the computer continues to give you trouble, it is also wise to ask for technical help early rather than wrestling with it alone while you are trying to work.

Your desire for forgiveness and for healing from unforgiveness and unbelief is honest and God honors that honesty. Choosing to forgive is often a decision we make before our feelings fully catch up, and the peace around it can grow gradually as we keep bringing it to Him.

Father, thank You for this day and for Your care over us. We bring our brother to You and ask for Your peace and rest, for forgiveness and a quiet heart, and for Your help to rebuke evil and keep him close to You. Give him clarity and steadiness at work and help with the needs of his computer. Draw him deeper into trust in Jesus. In Jesus' name, Amen.

We join with you in thanking the heavenly Father for this beautiful day and for the grace that has taught your heart to turn to Him in prayer. Gratitude is itself a gift of God, and where He has begun so good a work we may trust Him to carry it on.

You have well quoted that word of the Lord Jesus, I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy, nothing will harm you. This authority is not in ourselves but in Him who has bruised the serpent's head. The enemy is strong and subtle, and he goes about like a dog that bays around the city, yet Christ is stronger. When He says, Deliver him from going down to the pit, for I have found a ransom, then the bands are snapped and the soul is set free. Look away from yourself and away from your fears, and look unto Him. It is all you have to do. To look to Christ is to find deliverance, and that deliverance is an eternal one, for not one sheep that the Great Shepherd keeps shall ever be rent by the infernal lion.

You ask for peace and rest, and you do well to ask, for this peace only comes from God. The Lord will bless His people with peace. You cannot work it out yourself by resolving to be better. It must come from lips that cannot lie and from the blood which has made a full atonement. Our Lord Jesus is our peace, and He says, Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. There is a rest given at the first coming to Him, when the burden of sin is lifted, and there is a rest found as you learn of Him and walk with Him, when molesting cares are quieted. Seek this peace in your closet with your God, and you shall find your trials sweetly alleviated. When you must lie down at night and when you rise to labour, the Lord can keep you in perfect peace as your mind is stayed on Him.

You confess your sins and ask for forgiveness, and for healing of unforgiveness and unbelief. Here is the comfort, that forgiveness with God is hearty and free. He does not pardon as one too weak to punish, but as a Father whose heart is full of mercy through the ransom of His Son. Never rest till you are fully freed from the bondage of sin, but go at once to Him who took your feet from the miry clay and set them upon the King's highway. He can do the same again at this very moment. If unbelief remains, confess it as sin and pray Him to increase your faith. He that has given you the spirit of adoption will give you all things needful between here and heaven.

For your work and the pressure you feel there, and for those mistakes which trouble you, and even for the instrument of your labour, your computer, cast all your care upon Him, for He careth for you. The same God who numbers the hairs of your head regards the small things of your daily calling. Pray that He will give you a stayed mind and a steady hand, that you may do your work faithfully as unto the Lord, and leave the issue with Him. Whether the burden be great or small, lay it down where you laid your load of sin, and He will give you rest from care, not the rest of carelessness, but the rest of trusting His providence.

Let us pray with you. O gracious Father, we thank Thee for this day and for Thy longsuffering mercy. Forgive this Thy servant for every sin in thought and word and deed, through the precious blood of Jesus Christ. Rebuke the evil one and put him far from this soul, and let no weapon formed against Thy child prosper. Speak peace unto this heart, and grant rest within. Heal unbelief and teach this heart to forgive as it has been forgiven. Grant favour and quietness in daily labour, keep the mind stayed and the hands faithful, and supply what is needed for the work of this day. Keep this soul this night and in all nights to come, and at last receive it to Thyself, where perfect peace shall never be broken. In the precious name of Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Thank you for sharing your honest prayer with such gratitude and trust in the Lord. It is good that you begin with thanksgiving for this day, for gratitude opens the heart to receive what God desires to give.

You quoted the words of the Lord that He has given authority to overcome all the power of the enemy and that nothing will harm you. Hold fast to that promise with humility. Our authority is not our own strength but Christ Himself who has conquered sin and death. When we belong to Him, the enemy has no final claim on us, and we can ask the Lord to rebuke evil and to deliver us, trusting not in ourselves but in His power.

You asked for deliverance, peace and rest, and for peace at work. Scripture teaches that the peace of God is steadfast, not like the fleeting peace the world gives. The peace that comes from God rules in the heart even when outward troubles remain. It guards our thoughts when two thoughts wrestle within us, one urging us to anger or fear and the other calling us to patience and endurance. Ask the Lord to let His peace be the umpire in your heart, so that you may be kept steady and focused in your work and not be overcome by stress or anxiety. True rest is found there, in being at peace with God through Jesus Christ.

You also asked for forgiveness and for healing of any unforgiveness or unbelief. This is the greatest blessing. The Scriptures call blessed the one whose sins are forgiven and whose iniquities are covered. Forgiveness is not earned by our works but given by grace through faith in Christ alone. When we mourn over our sins, God does not only remove the punishment but comforts us and makes us blessed by His love. If you are holding any unforgiveness toward others, bring it to Him as well, for as we have been forgiven much, He teaches us to have a gentle and merciful heart toward others. And where there is unbelief or weakness of faith, ask Him to strengthen you, for He is gracious to help those who call on Him sincerely.

I join you in prayer for your daily work, that the Lord would grant you clarity of mind, steadiness of hand, and freedom from the mistakes that troubled you last night. He cares for the small details of our lives, even the tools we use each day, and we can rightly ask Him to help your computer to work and to provide what you need to do your duties well.

Let us pray together.

Heavenly Father, we thank You for this day and for Your mercy that is new every morning. We thank You for the Lord Jesus Christ through whom we have forgiveness and peace with You. We ask You to deliver this Your servant from every evil influence, to rebuke what is evil and to remove it according to Your will. Fill the heart with Your peace that surpasses understanding, and grant true rest to body and soul. Forgive sins through the blood of Christ, and wash away all guilt. Heal any unforgiveness and strengthen faith where there is unbelief. Grant focus and wisdom at work, keep the mind clear, and help in every practical need, including the work of the hands and the tools needed for it. Let all be done for Your glory and for good. In the precious name of Jesus Christ we pray. Amen.
