Prayer

Thank you Heavenly Father for this beautiful day. I pray for deliverance, peace, rest, forgiveness, and that you would rebuke this evil and remove it, in the name of Jesus Christ.

Please Heavenly Father by your grace and mercy please have mercy on me and remove this evil from my home and my person.

Please please also forgive me for my sins. Please also heal any unforgiveness I may have. I would be so grateful my Lord. In Jesus Christ precious name. Amen

We join you in gratitude to our Heavenly Father for this beautiful day and for the authority we have been given in Jesus Christ, and we stand with you in prayer for deliverance, peace, rest and forgiveness. We are thankful that you have come in the precious name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and it is in His name that every evil must flee. As it is written in Luke 10:19, Behold, I give you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy. Nothing will in any way hurt you. This is not our own strength but Christ's authority living in us, and we cling to that promise together with you.

We also hear your heart for forgiveness and for healing from any unforgiveness, and we agree that this is vital for your peace and deliverance. Scripture tells us in 1 John 1:9, If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. When we bring our sins to Him with a repentant heart He forgives us completely. And Jesus calls us also to release those who have sinned against us, as it is written in Mark 11:25, Whenever you stand praying, forgive, if you have anything against anyone, so that your Father, who is in heaven, may also forgive you your transgressions. Holding onto unforgiveness can give the enemy a foothold, but forgiving as Christ forgave us closes that door. We also remember that our struggle is not against flesh and blood but against the spiritual forces of wickedness as described in Ephesians 6:12, therefore we are called to submit ourselves to God and resist the devil. James 4:7 says, Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you. As we submit to God, put on His armor, and resist in Jesus name, the evil attacking you must flee.

We now pray together for you. Heavenly Father, we come before Your throne of grace in the name of Jesus Christ and we thank You for Your mercy and Your steadfast love. We ask for Your forgiveness over every sin we have committed in thought, word and deed, and we ask You to cleanse us and heal any unforgiveness in our hearts, helping us to forgive others as You have forgiven us. We ask for Your deliverance, Your peace which surpasses all understanding to guard our hearts and thoughts in Christ Jesus according to Philippians 4:7, and Your rest to fill this home and this person. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ we rebuke every evil attack, every work of the enemy, and we ask You to remove it completely from this home and from this life and to place Your hedge of protection around them. Let Your Holy Spirit fill every room and every corner with Your light and presence where darkness cannot remain. We declare that no weapon formed against Your child shall prosper and that You hear the cry of the righteous and deliver them out of all their troubles as promised in Psalm 34:17. Have mercy on us, Lord, by Your grace, and let Your will be done. We trust in Your power and Your love to keep us safe. In the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ we pray. Amen.

Thank you for sharing your heart so openly with us. We hear your gratitude for this day alongside your deep desire for peace and rest in your home and in your own spirit, and for forgiveness and freedom from what has been troubling you.

We join you in thanking God for His mercy and in asking Him to bring the deliverance and quiet you are seeking. Wanting to be forgiven and also to be free from any unforgiveness toward others is a tender and honest place to be. That healing often comes in two parts, a clear decision to release what has been held, and then a slower softening of the heart over time as God replaces hurt with His peace. It is good to keep bringing both to Him honestly, as you are doing.

One simple next step that many find steadying is to not carry this alone. If you have a trusted pastor or mature believer nearby, consider inviting one or two of them to pray with you in your home this week and to walk with you in the days ahead, continuing in prayer and time in God's Word together.

Father, we thank You for this dear child of Yours and for Your mercy today. We ask You to grant rest and peace, to forgive sins by Your grace, and to gently heal any place of unforgiveness. We ask You to rebuke evil and bring Your protection over this home and person. Lead with wisdom and fill this life with Your presence and comfort. In Jesus' precious name, Amen.

Your cry for deliverance and peace has been heard, and it is good that you turn at once to the heavenly Father in the name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other refuge.

You have quoted the word of the Lord, I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy, nothing will harm you. Remember that this authority is not in ourselves, but in Him who has found a ransom. As it is written, Then He is gracious unto him, and says, Deliver him from going down to the Pit, I have found a ransom. Nobody would have thought of that way of deliverance from the pit of hell through a ransom if God had not thought of it, and He has invented it and provided it in His own Son. Deliverance from the power of darkness and deliverance from the guilt of sin are both the work of God alone, and we must look to our heavenly Father altogether and alone for it.

You ask for peace and rest. Know then that the peace we should desire is that which is a blessing from the Lord Himself. The Lord will bless His people with peace. You cannot work this peace out yourself. It must come from lips that cannot lie, from a heart which cannot change, through the blood which has made a full atonement. The blood of Jesus whispers peace within. You will keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You. Stay your mind upon Christ, and that perfect peace which passes all understanding shall keep your heart.

You ask also for forgiveness and for healing of any unforgiveness in your own heart. There is forgiveness with Him. It is a divine forgiveness, for no one can remit sin but God only, and He says, I, even I, am He that blotteth out thy transgressions. That which you feel as chastening is not punishment, for punishment was laid upon Christ your Surety. What you receive from the hand of a Father is chastening in love, and even the sharpest smart is made profitable. If you tremble and with a penitent heart desire forgiveness, turn you, for He waits to be gracious.

And concerning the evil that assails your home and your person, be assured that all your ills lie within the fence of omnipotent overruling. Troubles do not spring out of the dust apart from Divine permission. He who permits the trial also commands the deliverance, and He has given commandment to save you, and you shall be saved, saved from yourself and from all the attacks of your old sins, saved from the devil. He is able to rebuke the adversary and to set you free, to snap your bands and to bring you up from the pit.

May you be able to say with the Psalmist after affliction, The Lord has chastened me sore, but He has not given me over unto death. I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord. Let gratitude be your conduct after deliverance, to live unto Him and to tell what He has done.

Let us pray together.

Heavenly Father, we thank You for this day which Your hand has made. We come in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our only ransom and our peace. Look in grace and mercy upon this Your child who seeks deliverance, peace, rest and forgiveness. Forgive all sins for the sake of the blood that was shed, and heal every root of unforgiveness within, that a calm deep and profound may reign. By Your power rebuke the evil that attacks and remove it from this home and this person. Keep back the soul from the pit and preserve life from perishing. Grant perfect peace to the mind that is stayed on You, and let this one live to declare Your works. In the name of Jesus Christ our Lord we ask it, Amen.
