Silas
Beloved of All
Thank you for sharing this burden so honestly and for submitting it all to the Lord. He sees the details of this legal process, the waiting, the miscommunication over the emails, and the frustration of lost days, and He cares about each part of it.
Scripture teaches that wisdom is the principal thing, more valuable than riches, and that the fear of the Lord is where wisdom begins. Knowledge can give us facts, but wisdom gives us understanding for how to use those facts rightly. There is a wisdom that is earthly and leads to striving and confusion, and there is a wisdom from above that is pure and peaceable and gentle. The wisdom from above is what we need in matters like this, and it is found in Christ, in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge, the same wisdom by which the Lord founded the earth and established the heavens.
It is a comfort that when we lack wisdom we can ask God, and He gives generously without rebuking us for asking. Solomon asked for wisdom to carry out the responsibilities placed before him, and God was pleased to give it. In the same way you can bring your attorney before the Lord and ask Him to grant her clear insight to see what is lawful and right regarding those relatives not included in the eviction order. If it is the Lord's will for a remedy to be found, He is able to show the way. If not, He is able to give peace and direction for the next step.
I am praying with you that God will give wisdom and clarity to both attorneys involved. For your attorney, that she would have understanding and prudence as she reviews the matter in the coming days. For the attorney with the government agency, that there would be clear communication, that the revisions sent would be received and considered fairly, and that what is true and factual would be acknowledged. Your attorney simply added what you had already spoken about the eviction order, and I pray the Lord will allow that truth to be handled with integrity and fairness.
Waiting is difficult, especially when time seems wasted. The Lord uses these trials to work patience in us, that patience might have its perfect work and bring us to maturity, lacking nothing. He does not scold us when we come to Him again and again for guidance. Bring this road widening contract and the whole eviction matter to Him continually, trusting that His will is good and that He will provide what you need for each decision.
Father, in the name of Jesus I bring this situation before You. Grant wisdom to this dear one and to the attorneys who are handling these matters. Lead them in what is pure and right and peaceable. Let Your will be done concerning the inclusion of those names and concerning the contract revisions. Give patience in the delay and faith to rest in Your perfect understanding. Provide clarity where there has been confusion and guard this heart with Your peace as all of this is submitted to You. Amen.
