Beloved of All
Dear God, will you send me my wife? Will you make it so clear that I have no doubt this is the equally yoked woman who is focused on faith, and will live happily with me building a life and family full of love, and honoring you. Through Jesus name AMEN

We join with you in this beautiful and godly desire and we rejoice that you are seeking a wife in a way that honors the Lord and desires to be equally yoked in faith. Your prayer to make it so clear that you have no doubt is a prayer for wisdom and discernment, and we stand with you asking God to lead you according to His perfect will and timing.

We love that you are not simply seeking a partner or a relationship, but a wife and a marriage that is a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman as God designed from the beginning. Genesis 2:18 says Yahweh God said, It is not good that the man should be alone. I will make him a helper suitable for him. And Genesis 2:24 says Therefore a man will leave his father and his mother, and will join with his wife, and they will be one flesh. This is the holy picture of marriage you are pursuing, a covenant to build a life and family full of love that honors Him.

Your heart to be equally yoked is deeply biblical. 2 Corinthians 6:14 says Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship has righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness? We encourage you to continue to hold fast to this standard, seeking a woman who is already faithfully walking with Christ, so that together you can spur one another on toward love and good deeds and build your home on the foundation of Jesus. Proverbs 18:22 reminds us Whoever finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor of Yahweh.

As you wait, we encourage you to delight yourself in the Lord and to become the godly husband God is preparing you to be. Psalm 37:4 says Also delight yourself in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Matthew 6:33 says But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Continue to seek Him first, to grow in prayer, in the Word, in purity, in service and in character, trusting that as you do He is also working in the heart and life of your future wife. Proverbs 3:5-6 says Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. He will make your paths straight, including the path to marriage, and He is able to make it abundantly clear when it is His will.

We thank you for praying through Jesus' name, for it is only through Him we have access to the Father. John 14:6 says Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.

We pray together with you now.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus and we lift up this dear brother to You. We thank You for placing this righteous desire for a godly wife and a Christ centered marriage and family upon his heart. Lord, we ask that You prepare him even now to be a loving, faithful, sacrificial husband as Christ loves the church. Prepare also the woman You have for him, that she would be growing in faith, in purity, in wisdom and in love for You. Make her a woman who loves Your Word and who desires to honor You in all things. In Your perfect timing, bring them together and make it so clear that there is no doubt that this is Your will. Give them both peace and confirmation through Your Word, through prayer, and through godly counsel. Guard them both from any relationship that is not of You and keep them in purity until the marriage covenant. Let their courtship be with the goal of holy marriage and let their future marriage be a testimony of Your love and faithfulness, building a life and family that brings glory to You. We trust Your timing is perfect and Your plans are good. We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.

We hear the hope and sincerity in your prayer, and we are grateful you shared it with us. Longing for a wife who loves Jesus, who wants to build a life and family with you in love and faithfulness, is a good and God honoring desire. We are praying with you for clarity and for God's leading in this.

Wanting to have no doubt is understandable. In our experience God often brings that kind of peace over time, through prayer, through the steady character you see in someone, and through the wisdom of community who knows you both well. The waiting season can feel lonely, but it is not wasted. It is a time when God continues to shape our own hearts and prepare us to love well.

One practical step that has helped many in this season is to let your desire be known in healthy ways within your church community. Stay rooted where you are known, keep serving and growing in your walk with Christ, and consider inviting a pastor or a mature married couple you trust to pray with you and to speak honestly into this area. They can help you keep growing as the husband you hope to be.

Father, we bring our brother before You in Jesus name. You know his longing for marriage and for a family that honors You. Give him wisdom, patience, and encouragement in this waiting, guard his heart, and lead him clearly in Your timing and Your way. Prepare him and prepare the one You have for him, and help them both grow closer to You now. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

It is a good and holy desire that you have laid before the Lord, and we join our hearts with yours in bringing it to the throne of grace. Marriage is of God, and when a man seeks a wife not for mere pleasure or passing affection, but that he may walk with her as one before the Lord and build a home that honors Christ, that prayer is according to His will.

You have prayed rightly to be equally yoked, and the Scripture gives this precept with great wisdom, Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers. As we have often taught, the yoke of Christ is to be borne together, and when two are yoked to bear that yoke side by side, each adjusting his step to bear his part without distressing the other, there is strength and comfort in the way. But an unequal yoking, where one loves Christ and the other does not, brings sorrow and halting to both. To seek a woman who is focused on faith, who loves the Lord Jesus in sincerity, is to seek that which will be for your present happiness and your eternal good, and for the good of the children that God may give you.

We pray that the Lord will keep you in this waiting season. The true Christian is to be distinguished not only in his prayers but in the honesty, integrity, courage and faithfulness of his ordinary character. Continue to walk faithfully where God has placed you, in your work and in your worship, in prayer and in purity, trusting that He who ordained marriage at the beginning knows your need and your frame. Though He slay me, yet will I trust in Him, said holy Job, and that trust is to mark us both in joy and in sorrow, in plenty and in waiting.

May the Lord in His own time make His will so clear to you that you have no doubt, and may He prepare you even as He prepares her whom He has appointed. We ask that He will give you a wife with whom you may be truly one, finding in that lifelong covenant of one man and one woman the mutual delight and complacency which God intended, and that together you may build a life and a family full of love, ordered by His Word and to His glory.

We commend you to Him now.

Our Father, we thank You for this brother and for the godly desire You have put in his heart. In the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, through whom alone is salvation, we ask that You would in Your perfect wisdom and timing bring to him a wife who loves You above all, that they may be equally yoked in faith and walk together in Your yoke which is easy and Your burden which is light. Give him patience to wait, purity to honor You now, and clarity when Your provision comes. Let their home, if it be Your will, be a witness to Your grace and a place where Christ is honored. Amen.

Your prayer for a wife who loves Christ and will walk with you in faith is good and right, and we thank God for the desire He has placed in your heart for marriage as He ordained it.

Marriage is a bond ordained of God and it is honorable. It is meant to be a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, where love is kept pure and holy and where both husband and wife help one another to follow peace and holiness. Scripture teaches that this holiness is preserved through faith in Christ and through chaste and orderly living, keeping oneself pure before marriage and faithful within it. The profit of marriage is to preserve the body pure and to build a home that honors the Lord.

We join you in asking the Father, through Jesus Christ alone who is our salvation, to guide you according to His wisdom and timing. We pray that He will keep you steadfast in faith and purity while you wait, that He will help you grow in prayer and in every good work, and that He will make clear in His time the woman who is equally yoked with you, one who loves Him above all and desires to build a life and family full of love to His glory.

Continue to seek Him first, to guard your heart and body for His honor, and to trust His providence. He who calls you to holiness is faithful, and He knows the longing of your heart far better than we do. May He grant you patience, discernment, and joy as you wait upon Him, and may whatever He provides lead you both to glorify Him together.

We pray this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
