I kindly ask for your prayers during this season of my life. I feel like I've lost the vision and passion I once had for my business, ###, where we specialize in IT equipment, technology solutions, and related services. Lately I've been questioning whether I'm still on the right path or if I simply need God to reignite the fire and purpose He originally gave me. Please pray that God will give me clarity, wisdom, renewed passion, and direction. If this is the business He has called me to, may He restore my vision and open new doors. If He has something different for me, may He lead me with peace and certainty. Please also pray that God strengthens my faith, provides for my family, and helps me remain obedient to His will. We hear your heart, dear brother, and we stand with you in this season of seeking the Lord’s will for your business and your life. It is not uncommon for believers to experience times of doubt or weariness, especially when the path ahead seems unclear. The enemy would love nothing more than to steal your passion, cloud your vision, and convince you that God’s calling has faded. But we declare that the same God who placed that vision in your heart is faithful to complete the work He began in you (Philippians 1:6).

First, we must address the foundation of your request. While your plea for clarity and direction is sincere, we notice that you did not invoke the name of Jesus in your prayer. Scripture is clear: "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5). It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father, and it is in His name alone that we pray with authority. "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son" (John 14:13). We encourage you to always lift your prayers to the Father in the mighty name of Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12).

Now, let us turn to the heart of your request. The loss of vision and passion you describe is not a sign of failure but an opportunity for deeper dependence on God. The Lord often allows these seasons to strip away our self-reliance and draw us back to Him. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." Your business is not ultimately about profit or success in the world’s eyes, it is about stewarding the gifts and opportunities God has given you for His glory. If He has called you to this work, He will sustain you. If He is leading you elsewhere, He will make that path clear in His perfect timing.

We must also address the importance of aligning your business practices with biblical principles. In the fast-paced world of technology and commerce, it can be easy to compromise on integrity, honesty, or even the treatment of employees and clients. Colossians 3:23-24 instructs us, "And whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ." Are there areas in your business where you may have strayed from God’s standards? Are you treating your employees, clients, and competitors with the love and respect Christ commands? We encourage you to examine your business through the lens of Scripture and ask the Holy Spirit to reveal any areas that need repentance or realignment.

We also lift up your family in this time. The pressures of business can often spill over into the home, and we pray that God would guard your relationships and provide for every need. "But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well" (Matthew 6:33). Trust that as you seek the Lord’s will, He will take care of your family’s needs.

Let us pray for you now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our brother who is seeking Your will for his business and his life. Lord, You are the Author of vision and the Giver of passion. We ask that You would reignite the fire that once burned in his heart for the work You called him to. If this is the path You have for him, restore his vision, open new doors of opportunity, and grant him wisdom to navigate every challenge. If You are leading him in a different direction, make that path clear and fill him with Your peace.

Father, we rebuke the spirit of doubt and weariness that has crept into his heart. We declare that Your plans for him are good, plans to prosper him and not to harm him, plans to give him hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11). Strengthen his faith, Lord, and remind him that You are his Provider and his Guide. Help him to trust in You with all his heart and not lean on his own understanding.

We also pray for his family, Lord. Provide for their every need, protect their relationships, and fill their home with Your peace. May they be a testimony of Your faithfulness to all who know them.

Finally, Lord, we ask that You would align his business with Your Word. Show him any areas where he may have compromised and give him the courage to walk in integrity and righteousness. May his work bring glory to Your name and be a light in the marketplace.

We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus, our Savior and Redeemer. Amen.

Beloved, do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season you will reap if you do not faint (Galatians 6:9). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the Author and Perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). He is faithful, and He will lead you every step of the way. If you feel led, spend time in prayer and fasting, seeking the Lord’s face for clarity. Sometimes, the answers we seek come not in the noise of business but in the quiet surrender of our hearts to Him. You are not alone in this journey, we stand with you, and more importantly, the Lord stands with you. Press on, dear brother, for His glory.

We've been thinking about what it's like when the clear sense of direction you once had for your work suddenly fades. It's disorienting, and it can feel like something essential has been lost. But we've found that seasons like this are often not the end of the story, sometimes God uses a holy disruption to deepen what He originally planted, to shift our vision from a plan we were driving to one we're following Him into.

When the passion disappears, it can mean many things, but one of them is simply that an old picture of success has run its course and He's preparing a new one. The original call on your business, to serve through technology solutions, is still real. What may need to die is not the business itself but a particular way you've been holding it, or a set of expectations you've carried.

One thing that has helped others in your position is to step back from the daily pressures and trace the original spark. Take a quiet hour this week with no agenda except to ask, "Lord, what was Your heart when You first called me into this?" Write down what comes, not as a business plan but as a hearing exercise. Sometimes what returns is not just the old fire but the next chapter of it.

Father, we lift up this man and his business to You. You know the weariness that has settled in, and You see the desire for purpose underneath it. Break through the fog, and give him clarity about whether this is a season of restoration or a pivot, and grant him the patience to wait until he knows which it is. Reignite the calling You first gave, or release him into something new with peace. In the meantime, provide for his family, steady his heart, and let him know he is not drifting but being held. In Jesus' name.

The spring of your soul has not run dry, it is choked with the debris of self-reliance. When a man questions whether the path he treads is still the path of God, it is often because he has begun to look at the dust upon his own feet rather than at the guiding hand of the Master. Your business, a vessel for technology and service, has become a veil, hiding the purpose for which you first set sail. The Great Surgeon of souls, blessed be His name, uses such seasons to remove the speck of self-esteem that mars human vision, so that we might cry out anew, "What do You want me to do for You?"

You ask for the fire to be re-ignited. Remember, the eagle’s youth is not renewed by beating its wings more furiously against the tempest, but by mounting up into the very presence of the sun until the blaze of heaven purges the dimness from its eyes. You cannot will passion back into existence by earthly striving. Your vigor shall return only as you ascend to breathe the atmosphere of the throne room, feeding upon the Divine food of the person of Christ. If you have taken upon yourself the responsibility for the vision and the outcome, you have run to the limits of human strength, and your tongue fails for thirst. Wait in quiet patience now, not murmuring, but blessing God for the extremity that has reduced you, for it is in that desert that the God of Israel shall not forsake you.

Consider this also: the Lord who came to seek and to save that which was lost speaks a strong word to you. Is there an accursed thing hidden within the tent of your commerce? The love of money, a subtle compromise to hollow maxims, or a dull ear to the cry of charity? You cannot expect God to bless the channel while there is a blockage of disobedience. Purity in business is not a trifle; a man can soon do a wrong thing by negligence, and unless you keep both eyes open, the very method of your trade may tarnish the honor of your great Master. The wrath of man, the panic of haste, never works the righteousness of God. Stand still. Do nothing in the dark that you would not do in the blaze of the final Day of Judgment.

If the Lord has planted you in this soil, He shall most surely water it. The vision shall come and shall not tarry; but it must be a revelation given to Isaac, and to Jacob, and to you anew, not a faded recollection of yesterday’s mercy. It is not too hard a thing to look for. We have but to expect it, to believe it, to pray for it. Go and dig the wells again, not by plotting fresh business schemes, but by a sweet inquisition of the Holy Scriptures and a renewed consecration of your heart. The Son of Man seeks lost sheep with a peculiar interest; He will not leave your calling lost in a thicket of doubt if you cry out to Him. So mount up with wings, brother, until your face glows with the radiance that only the air of heaven can bestow, and you shall find your youth renewed, and your gaze fixed not on shifting markets, but on the God-like Man who led you here.

Bless me to know You, so that I can trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. The loss of vision you feel is not without purpose, for the soul often grows dim when it abandons itself to carnal cares. When a man is intoxicated with passion for temporal things, the clearness of his mind is blinded, and he cannot judge truth aright. Consider then whether this business of yours, this buying and selling of equipment, has silently become an idol. What is Mammon but covetousness, and do you not worship it when you do its will in your deeds, fretting over profit as if it were your god? A worshiper of pleasure or wrath may still master his passion, but the slave of covetousness is bound fast. If your heart has been chasing a morsel of worldly success, you may have sold your birthright for it, trading the honor of God’s calling for temporary refreshment. And now you wonder why the fire is gone.

Yet this warning is also mercy. Do not think that a few days of prayer, forty days or even less, will suffice to restore what neglect has weakened, only for you to return again to the same anxious strivings. True health of soul is not a brief remedy but a daily bruising of the heart through humility. A bruised hand cannot be lifted high, and so a heart humbled before God will not be lifted up by vainglory, envy, or the restless desire for more. If you mourn now not for your business but for the sins entangled with it, you will find the blessing of self-restraint.

Here is your way forward: Do everything in the Name of the Lord. Whether you eat, drink, travel, or trade, first call upon Christ, and then take hold of your work. If the Name of God is set before every transaction, all will be auspicious. But if you rely on your own fire, it will burn out. Seek not a vision born of passion but the quiet obedience that says, “If this is from Thee, Lord, let it prosper; if not, give me peace to walk another path.” Do not place your confidence in the business itself, but in the God who gives it.

And think of this: a slave is lost for a short time, but you may gain a brother forever. Your business can be a place where you serve others not as Mammon’s slave but as a steward of Christ’s love. That is the lasting fruit. The day will come when we all stand before the judgment seat of Christ, and your deeds in that marketplace will be weighed, not by revenue, but by whether you acted in His Name, with love, and without idolatry.

Therefore, let your prayer be not only for renewed passion but for a broken spirit and a clear eye. If the Lord reignites the work, He will also open doors no man can shut. If He leads elsewhere, His peace will go before you. Strengthen your faith by anchoring it not in success but in His will, and He will provide for your family as you remain obedient. Do not be slothful, nor treat holy things lightly, for Christ is not to be crucified afresh. He is risen, and His kingdom is your true business.

It is not unusual for the passion that once burned brightly to flicker and seem to go out. You are asking for God to either reignite the fire for the work you have been doing or to lead you with peace into something different. That is the right prayer, because at its heart it seeks His will above your own. The greatest calling is not to a particular title or a specific business, but to be His servant right where you are, for His purposes.

Consider this: when you belong to Jesus Christ, God has already given you the Holy Spirit as a seal, a down payment on the glorious inheritance He has in store for you. That is the hope of your calling. It is not ultimately about IT equipment or technology solutions. It is about the eternal riches of His kingdom. When you lose sight of that, discouragement floods in. But when you truly grasp what God has waiting for you, what He has already secured, it gives you the strength, the energy, and the courage to go on. Ask Him to enlighten the eyes of your heart to that hope again. The passion for a specific task often grows cold when we take our eyes off the eternal purpose of the One who assigned it.

In Scripture, a vision from God often gave someone a glimpse into the spiritual reality behind their earthly circumstances. It was not just a five-year business plan. A vision moved someone out of the limitations of time and let them see what God was going to do. But notice what happened to Daniel after he received such a staggering vision of the future. It left him physically drained, sick for days, and utterly astonished. He did not even fully understand it. Yet the Scripture records this simple, profound response: afterward, he rose up and did the king's business.

He did not sit paralyzed, waiting for total clarity on every detail of the end times. He returned to the daily duty God had placed in front of him. That is a powerful model. You may feel faint and uncertain, but the call now is to rise up and do the work at hand while you wait for His direction. Your business is the place where God has stationed you for this season. Be faithful in it as a servant, not as an owner trying to manufacture a vision out of your own energy. You can rest in the truth that He is the one building His kingdom, and you are simply privileged to be used by Him in that work.

Do not undervalue the daily work itself. Remember that a coin is only useful and valuable when it is in circulation, being spent for its intended purpose. A coin gathering dust in a dark corner is as worthless as a lost one, no matter how precious the metal. You have asked God for new doors if this path is His will. Perhaps the way forward is not in dreaming of some grand future while the present stalls, but in actively spending yourself in faithful service right now, trusting Him with the results.

The purpose of prayer is not to convince God to accomplish your will, but to align yourself with His. So continue to ask for wisdom, for open doors, and for peace. As you do, let your prayer be, "Lord, stir my heart. Draw me to Yourself. Help me to remain obedient." The clarity often comes not in a sudden flash before you move, but as a gentle, assured gathering of His will once you step forward in faith. May He strengthen your faith, provide abundantly for your family, and restore to you the joy of being His servant in whatever work He gives your hands to do.
