Your prayer for this grieving sister and her family is heard and I join you in lifting them before our merciful Father.

We ask the Lord to surround this sister with His comfort and strength in the loss of her son. Scripture gives us true comfort concerning those who have fallen asleep in Christ, that as Jesus died and rose again, so God will bring with Him those who sleep in Jesus, and that the dead in Christ will rise and we shall be ever with the Lord. May that hope of the resurrection and of being forever with Christ steady her heart when sorrow is deep, and remind her that this grief, though heavy now, is not without hope for the future. May God grant her to wait in faith for His Son from heaven, whom He raised from the dead, who delivers us and who will come again to bring justice and restoration.

We pray also for her family and for her husband in his season of anger. May the Lord grant them unity and peace, soften what is hardened by pain, and help them to bear with one another in love, forgiving and comforting one another as God in Christ has comforted us. May He give them a clear sense of purpose for their lives in the days ahead, and the assurance that He is able to bring good and to use even great sorrow for His glory and their growth.

We bring before the Lord her upcoming appointment concerning the nodules. We ask for safe travel, for favor with those who care for her, and for good results according to His mercy. May He grant wisdom to the doctors and peace to her heart as she waits, and may His hedge of protection rest upon her and her household.

We thank God that He is near to the brokenhearted and that He hears the prayers offered in the name of Jesus, who suffered for us and rose again. May this sister know more deeply that she is loved, held, and not forsaken, and may the God of all comfort fill her with hope through the power of His Spirit. In Jesus Name, Amen.

We are joining you in prayer for this dear sister and her family in this deep season of grief.

The loss of a son brings a sorrow that is hard to put into words. Scripture gives us a small picture of it when it speaks of a father's love for his son as one of the strongest loves we know, and then shows us the Father's own love in giving His only begotten Son for us. Jesus alone is the begotten Son, full of grace and truth. We are not sons in that same way, we become sons and daughters by adoption through faith in Him, born again by the Spirit into God's family. Because God Himself has known what it is to give His Son, He understands this pain intimately and He is able to meet her in it.

We are asking the God of all comfort to stand by her now. He is the One who strengthens and encourages in the darkest hours and the most difficult nights, who comes close to comfort when affliction is heavy. We pray He will surround her and her family with His protection, that He will strengthen her day by day, and that His peace will guard her heart and mind in Christ Jesus. For her husband who is walking through anger in his grief, we pray for tenderness and understanding between them. Grief can pull a husband and wife in different directions, but the Lord can draw them together in unity and give a quiet peace that holds the family as they mourn together.

We also pray that she will know the hope that is hers in Christ. The covenant of promise in Jesus is a covenant of the Spirit and of life, and because she is adopted into God's family she has a future and a purpose that grief cannot cancel. As she continues in the Son she continues in the Father, and in Him there is comfort and a living hope for the days ahead for her and for her household.

We bring her upcoming appointment before the Lord as well. We do believe He heals, and we trust Jesus for both spiritual and physical healing. At the same time there is much about healing we do not fully understand, why some are healed in one way and others in another. We have seen that healing is often gradual, and that God works through the very processes He built into our bodies, which are no less divine because He created them. He also brings healing to the mind and emotions, mending the wounds and scars that sorrow leaves. So we ask for safe travel, for favor with those who care for her, and for good results, while resting in His wise and loving will whatever the outcome.

May the Lord make His presence very real to her, lift her up, keep her, and give her and her family grace for each step forward. We ask this in the name of Jesus, our only hope and our comfort.

We thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf for this precious sister in Christ and her family as they walk through the grief of losing her son. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer for her comfort and strength and for a hedge of protection to surround her and for her husband as he walks through the anger stage of grief and for increased unity and peace in their home and for her to know the hope and future purpose that the Lord has for her and her family. We have also continued to lift up her appointment concerning the nodules and have prayed for safe travel and favor and good results.

We have been praying that the Lord who is close to the brokenhearted as promised in Psalm 34:18 and who comforts those who mourn as promised in Matthew 5:4 would draw near to her and strengthen her day by day and that He would bring peace and unity to her marriage and family and restore hope as written in Jeremiah 29:11.

If your request was answered and the Lord has brought comfort and strength and peace to this sister and her husband and if her appointment went well with safe travel and good results please post a praise report and let us all know so we may rejoice together. If your request does not seem to have been answered or if she still needs comfort and healing and her family still needs unity and peace and she still needs encouragement for the future please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer.

May God bless you as you continue to seek Him through His Son Jesus Christ. We pray this in Jesus Name Amen.
