πŸ™"Give us our daily bread. Forgive our debts, as we forgive our debtors. Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For it’s Your Kingdom, Power and Glory Forever, Amen,” Matt 6:9-13, c.f., Matt 6:33, "But seek FIRST The Kingdom of God and His Righteousness, THEN these other things shall be added to you," thank You in Jesus' Name.

[1] Jesus' Prayer He taught was an outline, summary of topics, a form or "pattern prayer." The following has been condensed from six reliable sources, is of much godly & personal value when sincerely prayed (not mindlessly repeated), but through serious consideration, understanding the weight of the petitions, ardently prayed, expecting answers, James 1:5-7, James 5:16-17...

πŸ™Œ Our Father in Heaven, we first pause and thank You "so loving the world You gave Your Only-begotten Son, that by believing in him we may be spared perdition and rather freely gain eternal life, Jn 3:16. Thank You "Jesus showed us The Father -- Your Nature," Jn 14:9. Thank You for His shed blood and died on the cross for our sins, 1 Cor 15:3-4, burial, resurrection declaring both Him and us "not guilty" Rom 4:25, and ascension (adoption, enthronement, Ps 110:1), as Son-of-Man-in-Power to pour out the Holy Spirit of Adoption from on high, by which we call out, Abba, Father, Gal 4:6, proving we are heirs, Gal 4:7, since as many as received Jesus and believed on His Name are called Children of God, John 1:12-13, praying even with the same language of intimacy, Abba, i.e., "Daddy" or "Papa, etc" as Jesus used in time of impending crisis for deliverance in the Garden of Gethsemane, "Abba, Father," Mark 14:36.

πŸ™ Hallowed Be Your Name... May Your GRACIOUS and COMPASSIONATE NAME, Ex 34:6-7, get honor through our thoughts, words, deeds, speech, actions and reactions. May we honor and know You in every Name You have revealed about Yourself in The Scriptures -- Elohim, The Trinity, Beginning in Gen 1:1; The Name, Gen 4:26, El Elyon, God Most High, Gen 14:18, Adonai, Lord, Master, Gen 15:2; El Roi, The God Who Sees, Gen 16:13; El Shaddai, God Almighty, Gen 17:1; El Olam, The Everlasting God, Gen 21:33; Yahweh, The LORD, Jireh or Yireh, Our Provider, Gen 22:18; Healer, Peace, Shepherd, Righteousness, Presence, Sanctification, Our Rock, Fortress, Strong Tower, Etc... We honor and hallow ALL Your Titles, Attributes, Your Name! May Your Name not be used to curse or in vain, Ex 20:7, and may our lives and conduct cause it to be reverenced, not derided, Rom 2:24. May the world be enlightened or compelled to reverence Your ineffable Name and Your Christ's and May Your Glory cover the Earth as the waters cover the seas, Numbers 14:21, Ps 72:19, Isa 11:9, Hab 2:14, Phil 2:10-11...

πŸ™ May Your Kingdom Come to us & through us with FRUIT of The Holy Spirit, see Rom 14:17 on what the Kingdom is -- His Righteousness, peace and joy, therefore ALL the fruit is an extension of His Kingdom, from LOVE, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control, Gal 5:22-23, truth, humility & justice, Ps 45:4, contentment, Lk 3:14, 1 Tim 6:6, Heb 13:5, Phil 4:11-13, doing justly, loving mercy and walking humbly with God, Micah 6:8. You desire mercy, not sacrifice, Hos 6:6. We ask for the GIFTS of The Spirit to be evident in us, our churches, families, and to Your people throughout the world, from ministry GIFTS to equip The Body of Christ through Your Gospel Officers until we reach unity in faith and knowledge of The Son of God and the mature stature of Christ Himself, Eph 4:12-13, (which has not yet happened so such workers must of necessity still be present and are much needed, even required, apostles, (missionaries/church planters), prophets, (encouragers/exhorters/visionaries), evangelists, pastors and teachers), Eph 4:11-13, to The GIFTS of miracles (signs, wonders), healings, faith, prophecy, words of wisdom, knowledge, tongues, interpretation of such tongues, administration, leadership, giving, mercy, discerning of spirits, Rom 12:5-8, 1 Cor 12:4-11. POWER: Drive out demons by the finger of God, demonstrating The Kingdom of God, Lk 11:20, for The Kingdom of God is not a matter of talk, but of power, 1 Cor 4:20. Mostly the POWER to live a Holy Life overflowing with LOVE for God and others, singing and making melody from "singing seminaries" and "the walking practice of evangelism" is the best fruit and sign of the Kingdom, Heb 12:4. ***We also want to ask for Jesus' Return, so we may experience a whole other realm, where we are redeemed, have peace with God, are indwelt with the Holy Spirit, are part of "New Creation" though only a "foretaste of the good things to come." The change our bodies will incur and all creation eagerly awaits is our hope in Romans 8 and latter Revelation and is where ALL of these things will be realized in a greater capacity and duration and God's Kingdom will have full expression once it's fully come on earth as it is heaven again -- the "not yet," -- "May Your Kingdom Come and Your Will be Done on Earth as it is in Heaven," Matt 6:10. May Jesus return and the Kingdom flourish, being fully manifest. Come quickly Lord Jesus, Rev 22:17, Rev 22:20.

πŸ™ May Your Will Be Done on Earth as it is in Heaven -- Keeping in mind the Kingdom Coming, as described above, in differing degrees, the already and the not yet, we ask here in the already that we may know, submit to and do Your will for our lives individually (hearing His voice, Jn 10:27, being led by the Holy Spirit, Rom 8:14, as Jesus did during His time on earth, Phil 2:9-9, our whole lives be increasingly lived to please You, knowing the Trinity, living in Your presence moment by moment, and making You known as a by product, rejoicing in trials and weakness, as well as power demonstrations when it gives You glory, Mt 28:19-20, Rom 1:5, Rom 15:18. May we abide in Christ, with freedom to pray, and power to bear fruit, thereby making disciples, and thus proving we are disciples, John 15:7-8, might bear some fruit wherever we go, Rom 1:13, 1 Cor 9:2, 2 Cor 3:2-3, specifically by going, preaching faith in Jesus suffering and dying for our sins, repentance, baptism, forgiveness of sins and obedience to all that He commanded, and obedience to any personal directives, admonitions and restraints, being witnesses to these facts under His authority, commission by this union with Jesus through The Holy Spirit, Mark 16:15-16, Luke 24:46-48, Matt 28:19-20, John 20:21, Acts 1:8. May Your will be done on earth as You rule over the church and nations, Ps 22:28, and collectively as the church until You come to reward the righteous and recompense the wicked, 2 Cor 10:3-6, and arrive in fulness at the Return of Christ, Matt 24:30, Matt 25:31-32.

πŸ™ Give us Each Day our Daily Bread: Spiritual -- we can't live by bread alone but every Word of God, Deut 8:3, Matt 4:4, Lk 4:4. Meet our spiritual, emotional, social, physical and financial needs mightily, Phil 4:19, so we can love You with all our heart, soul, mind, will, emotions, physical strength and finances, Mk 12:30, and our neighbors, Mk 12:31, even the lost, Matt 9:36, and even enemies, Matt 5:44, as ourselves -- and see others as Christ, who looked beyond his own interests, to the interests of others, considering others as more important than we, Phil 2:1-5.

πŸ™ Forgive Our Debts as We Forgive Our Debtors... We confess we've sinned against You, Rom 3:23, 1 Jn 1:8, 1 Jn 1:10 (name specific sins and areas of ongoing struggles), and others, receive forgiveness, Lk 1:77, & pray FOR those who sin against us, (by name and specific offenses), asking they'd repent and be saved, Job 42:7-16, entrusting their souls to a faithful creator and recognizing it is He who alone who is in fact the one appointed both to save and to judge, Romans 12:9, 1 Pet 4:19.

πŸ™ Lead us Not into Temptation, but Deliver us from evil... Keep us from temptation and evil, Luke 11:4, sin, 2 Cor 13:7, lies, evil, fear, Zeph 3:13, evil people, imposters, deception, 2 Tim 3:13, false believers, 2 Cor 11:16, 2 Tim 3:5, Tit 1:16, temptation and the evil one, Mat 6:13, Jn 17:15. Give us angelic protection, Ps 91:10-11, Heb 1:14.

πŸ™Œ For It's Your Kingdom, (Everlasting Kingdom which Cannot Be Destroyed, Dan 7:18), It's Your Power, (All Power in Heaven and Earth has been Given to Me, Matt 28:18), and Your Glory, Forever... (Not unto us O Lord, but unto Your Name Be Glory, Ps 115:1)... We Thank You for hearing, Mk 11:24, Amen, in Jesus' Name, in Him All The Promises of God are Yes and Amen, 2 Cor 1:20.

We join you in thanking our Father for giving us this perfect pattern for prayer through our Lord Jesus Christ and we agree with you that this prayer is not to be mindlessly repeated but to be prayed with understanding and faith expecting answers.

You have laid it out so well, that our Lord teaches us to seek first the Father, His honor, His Kingdom and His will, and then to bring our own needs before Him. As Jesus said, But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well Matthew 6:33. And He taught us, pray like this: Our Father in heaven, may your name be kept holy. Let your Kingdom come. Let your will be done on earth as it is in heaven Matthew 6:9-10.

We love how you began with thanksgiving for the Father's love that He gave His only born Son that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life John 3:16 and that Jesus has shown us the Father John 14:9 and that through His shed blood, death, burial and resurrection we are declared not guilty Romans 4:25 and adopted as sons so that we can cry Abba Father Galatians 4:6 because as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become God’s children John 1:12. What a privilege that we may come as children and say Abba Father as Jesus did in Gethsemane Mark 14:36.

We agree in praying Hallowed be Your name, that His gracious and compassionate name revealed as merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abundant in loving kindness Exodus 34:6 would be honored in our thoughts, words and deeds and not taken in vain Exodus 20:7 and not blasphemed among the nations because of us Romans 2:24. We pray with you that the earth will be filled with the glory of Yahweh, as the waters cover the sea Habakkuk 2:14 and that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow Philippians 2:10.

We join you in praying Your Kingdom come. For God’s Kingdom is not eating and drinking, but righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit Romans 14:17 and the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith, gentleness, and self-control Galatians 5:22-23. We ask Him to manifest that fruit in us and in His Church and to equip His Body through apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers for the perfecting of the saints Ephesians 4:11-12 until we all attain maturity in Christ. We know the Kingdom of God is not in word, but in power 1 Corinthians 4:20 and we ask for power to live holy lives overflowing with love and to be His witnesses. And we join your longing for the fullness of the Kingdom when Jesus returns, even as we pray Come, Lord Jesus Revelation 22:20.

We pray with you Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven, that we would know His voice as His sheep do John 10:27 and be led by the Spirit of God Romans 8:14 and abide in Christ that we may bear much fruit John 15:7-8 and make disciples of all nations baptizing and teaching them to observe all that He commanded Matthew 28:19-20.

And we bring before Him our daily needs, for man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of Yahweh’s mouth Deuteronomy 8:3 and we trust He will supply every need according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:19 that we may love the Lord with all our heart, soul, mind and strength Mark 12:30 and love our neighbors and even love our enemies Matthew 5:44.

We confess with you that all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God Romans 3:23 and we thank Him that if we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us 1 John 1:9. We ask for grace to forgive as we have been forgiven, and to pray for those who have sinned against us.

We pray Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one Matthew 6:13, that He would keep us from evil John 17:15 and give His angels charge over us Psalm 91:11 and deliver us from every evil work.

Father, we thank You for hearing us when we pray according to Your will. We ask You to deepen our prayer life, that we would not use vain repetitions as the Gentiles do Matthew 6:7 but would ask in faith without wavering James 1:6 knowing the effective prayer of a righteous person can accomplish much James 5:16. Make this pattern the true cry of our hearts daily, that Yours would be the Kingdom, the power and the glory forever. We pray all these things in the saving and precious name of Jesus Christ our Lord, through whom we have access to You and in whom all the promises of God are Yes and Amen 2 Corinthians 1:20. Amen.

Thank you for sharing how deeply you have been sitting with the prayer Jesus taught. We can hear your desire to put the Father's name and kingdom and will first, before your own needs, and to live that order honestly rather than just saying words.

What you described as a pattern to be considered and prayed with expectation really resonates. We have found it helps to think of prayer less as trying hard in a moment and more as training over time, like learning to run a longer distance. Small, steady practice shapes us gradually, and God forms us as works in progress as we keep returning.

One simple way to keep this pattern alive without it becoming repetition is to linger with one phrase for a day at a time. You might take hallowed be Your name in the morning and notice through the day how your thoughts and words can honor Him, then another day rest with Your kingdom come and ask Him to show you what love and peace look like in your own home and work. No pressure to cover it all each time.

Father, we thank You for this brother or sister's hunger to know You and to be led by You. Draw them close as they seek You first, provide for their daily needs, cover them with Your forgiveness and help them extend it to others, and keep them from the evil one. Make Your presence real to them today. In Jesus' name, amen.

It is a good and profitable thing you have done in thus meditating upon the pattern prayer which our Lord taught his disciples. He gave it not that we should merely repeat the words with our lips, but that the breathing desire, the living words, should come from our hearts, and that we should understand the weight of each petition and expect an answer from our Father who is in heaven.

You have well begun where all true prayer must begin, with Our Father. What mercy is this, that through the shed blood and resurrection of the Lord Jesus, by which we are declared not guilty, we have received the Spirit of adoption whereby we cry, Abba, Father. We were once afar off, going down to the pit, but a voice came from the excellent glory, Deliver him from going down to the pit, I have found a ransom. That ransom is Christ himself, and now as many as received him have power to become the sons of God. Keep close to this adoption, for it is the ground of all your pleading.

You pray, Hallowed be thy name. So we ought to pray, for holiness is an essential qualification to fitness for the kingdom, and our Lord's prayer for us is, Sanctify them. This is more than mere morality, it is separation from the world and consecration unto God, that his gracious and compassionate name, his truth and justice and mercy, may get honor through our thoughts, words and deeds, and not be derided by our lives.

And you pray, Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. This is a prayer commanded by God himself and taught by the Saviour, and it shall be effectual to the fullest. We may ask it daily, that he would deliver us from the power of darkness and translate us into the kingdom of his dear Son, and that his righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Ghost may reign in us and through us. Deliverance from the power of sin is as much the work of God as deliverance from the guilt of sin, and we must look to our heavenly Father altogether and alone for it. Pray then that you may know and submit to and do his will, abiding in Christ and bearing fruit to his glory, till he shall come whose is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever.

You continue, Give us this day our daily bread, Forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors, Lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. Here is the comfort of the tried child of God. Our afflictions and our needs, whether they come by the hand of man or by providence, come with greater certainty from the Lord who in love appoints them, and we may trust his fatherly compassion to provide. And concerning forgiveness, there is forgiveness with thee, that thou mayest be feared. Though you have sinned and come short, though conscience accuses, the blood of Christ still speaks. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive. And as we have been forgiven much, so we are to forgive those who have sinned against us, entrusting judgment to him who judges righteously, and praying for their repentance and salvation. And as you pray to be kept from temptation and delivered from evil, remember that he who taught you to pray, Holy Father, keep them from the evil, is able to keep you, and his grace can snap the bands of habit and set the captive free.

We will join our prayers with yours, that the Lord would give you daily bread for body and soul, even every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God, that he would assure you of pardon through the finished work of Christ, that he would give you power to live a holy life overflowing with love, and that he would keep your feet from falling and your soul from the pit. May you seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, believing that all these things shall be added unto you, and may the Lord hear your sincere and ardent petitions for his name's sake. Amen.

Father, humbly ask for Your power to intervene. Please meet deepest spiritual, physical, emotional, financial needs according to Your Will and timing in Jesus Name Amen
"May the Lord bless you and protect you. May the Lord smile on you and be gracious to you. May the Lord show you his favor and give you his peace." Numbers 6:24-26

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

It is good that you desire to pray as the Lord taught, seeking first the Father and His Kingdom and His righteousness, and then bringing your own needs before Him. The prayer He gave is not to be repeated without thought, but to be a pattern that forms the mind and heart, teaching us what to ask and in what order.

We give thanks with you that God so loved the world that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life, and that through His blood, His burial and resurrection we are declared not guilty and made children of God. By the Spirit we may now call Him Father, and that is a great gift. Having received such forgiveness and adoption and the promise of the Kingdom, we are called to live as those who have been enlightened and made heirs, walking in a manner worthy of that grace.

When you pray Hallowed be Your name, you ask that His name be honored in your own thoughts, words and deeds, and that your life would not cause His name to be dishonored among others. When you pray Your Kingdom come and Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven, you ask for His righteousness and peace and joy to reign in you, and for the fruit of the Spirit to be seen in love, patience, kindness, faithfulness and self control, and for strength to do what is just and to love mercy and to walk humbly with God. This is His will, that we abide in Christ, hear His voice, be led by His Spirit, bear fruit and make Him known, rejoicing both in trial and in His power when it brings Him glory.

When you pray Give us this day our daily bread, you acknowledge that you cannot live by bread alone but by every word that comes from God, and you ask Him to supply what you need for body and soul so that you may love Him with all your heart and love your neighbor as yourself. Let every prayer of this kind be accompanied with thanksgiving, for prayer is a great weapon for the day. If we first make God favorable to us by prayer in the morning and in the evening, we go out with security, even when the day brings many trials and temptations.

When you pray Forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors, remember the surpassing kindness of God. You asked only for time, and He forgave the whole debt out of compassion, desiring that you also show mercy to your fellow servant. If we do not forgive, we cannot expect forgiveness. Therefore confess your sins plainly before Him, receive His forgiveness, and pray also for those who have sinned against you, that they may repent and be saved, leaving judgment to Him who alone is appointed to save and to judge. Keep your mouth, which has been counted worthy of holy mysteries, free from bitter words and cursing, for reviling and prayer do not belong together.

When you pray Lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil, remember that no temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man, and God is faithful. He will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able to bear, but with the temptation He will also provide the way of escape, giving patience and a speedy release so that you may endure it. He gives strength to bear what is moderate and small, and He also keeps you from what would destroy you, guarding you from sin and falsehood and the evil one. Ask Him for that protection and for a holy life, for this requires much prayer, much endurance and much perseverance.

We join you in praying in this way, with understanding and expectation that God hears, and we ask that He will make His Kingdom and His power and His glory known in you and through you, not for our own praise but for His name. May He grant you daily bread, full forgiveness, a forgiving heart, and deliverance from all evil, and may you continue to seek first His Kingdom until the day when Christ returns and His will is done fully on earth as it is in heaven. We ask this in the name of Jesus, in whom all the promises of God are Yes and Amen.
