📖 "Pray, then, after this manner... 🙌 ‘Our Father who is in heaven, Hallowed be Your name. Your Kingdom Come! Your Will be done, On Earth as it is in Heaven!”

<———--------——— ———(Selah)—————----———————>

🙏"Give us our daily bread. Forgive our debts, as we forgive our debtors. Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For it’s Your Kingdom, Power and Glory Forever, Amen,” Matt 6:9-13, c.f., Matt 6:33, "But seek first The Kingdom of God and His Righteousness, then all these other things shall be added to you," thank You in Jesus' Name.

We join with you in thanking God for the perfect pattern He has given us for prayer through our Lord Jesus Christ, and we rejoice that you have seen the divine order in it.

You have rightly observed that Jesus teaches us to put the Father first before our own needs. We are to begin with worship and surrender, hallowing His name, seeking His Kingdom and His will, and only then bringing our daily needs before Him. This humbles us and aligns our hearts with His. As Jesus said, Matt 6:9 Pray like this: Our Father in heaven, may your name be kept holy. Matt 6:10 Let your Kingdom come. Let your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Matt 6:11 Give us today our daily bread. Matt 6:12 Forgive us our debts, as we also forgive our debtors. Matt 6:13 Bring us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. For yours is the Kingdom, the power, and the glory forever. Amen.

We love that you also connected this to Matt 6:33 But seek first Gods Kingdom, and his righteousness and all these things will be given to you as well. That is the very principle of the Lords Prayer. When we seek Him first, His honor, His rule, His purposes, He is faithful to add all that we need for life and godliness. We are reminded not to use this prayer as vain repetition, for Jesus warned in Matt 6:7 In praying, dont use vain repetitions as the Gentiles do for they think that they will be heard for their much speaking, but to let it be the heartfelt standard and framework that shapes all our praying, as you said.

We also thank you for closing your request in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him we have access to the Father. As it is written, John 14:6 Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And 1 John 5:14 This is the boldness which we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us.

We pray together with you now.

Father in heaven, we hallow Your holy name together and we thank You for adopting us as Your children through Jesus Christ. We ask that Your Kingdom come and Your will be done in our lives, in our families, in our church, and on this earth as it is in heaven. Forgive us for the times we have put our own desires before Your glory. Teach us to seek You first in all things. We ask You to give us this day our daily bread, to provide for every need according to Your riches. Forgive us our debts as we forgive those who have sinned against us, and help us to release all bitterness and to walk in mercy as You have shown mercy to us. Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one, keep our feet from sin and guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. For Yours is the Kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Let our prayers and our lives reflect this heavenly order, that You would be glorified and we would be kept in Your perfect will. We ask all this in the mighty and saving name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, Amen.

We are grateful you took the time to write this out the way you did. The way you put the Father's honor, His kingdom and His will first, and then our daily provision, forgiveness, and keeping from evil, stood out to us. That order is so steadying.

When we begin with who God is and what He desires, our own needs find their right place. It lifts the weight of carrying the day on our own and reminds us we are speaking to a Father who is both near to us and fully in control. Seeing you hold that pattern and end with thanksgiving in Jesus' name encouraged us.

It is a good pattern to stay with in daily prayer, not as a formula to get right but as a way to stay close to Him. You might find it helpful to linger on one phrase at a time through the week and let it shape what you bring to God that day, letting prayer be a conversation and a way of living with Him rather than just words to say.

Father, we thank You for being our Father in heaven and for making a way for us to come to You through Jesus. Hallow Your name in our lives, let Your kingdom come and Your will be done in us and around us. Give us what we need for today, forgive us as You teach us to forgive, lead us away from temptation and deliver us from evil. Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.

It is a right and blessed order that our Lord has taught us, and you have set it forth truly. First the Father, His name hallowed, His Kingdom come, His will done, and then our need supplied, our sin forgiven, our feet kept from evil. So the prayer begins not with self but with God, and in that order there is wisdom. Seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these other things shall be added unto you.

You do well to pray after this manner, Our Father who is in heaven, hallowed be Your name. To say Father is to come by Jesus Christ alone, for there is no other way into the presence of the Holy One. To say hallowed be Your name is to desire His honor above all. To say Your Kingdom come, Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven, is to bow to His Sovereignty. We must feel in any case that God's will must be done, and pray after our Saviour's perfect model in the garden, Nevertheless not as I will but as You will. His Sovereignty encloses His people and His angels surround them, and we have three firm grounds of confidence, God's Sovereignty, Christ's sacrifice and God's immutability.

Then comes our daily bread, for He would have us ask for provision day by day, trusting His hand. Then forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors. There is forgiveness with Him, and it is a divine forgiveness, I even I am He that blotteth out thy transgressions. It is a surprising forgiveness and a complete forgiveness. He blotteth out our sin now, at any moment the sinner believes, and it is an eternal forgiveness. He who is once forgiven in Christ is forgiven to all eternity. And because we have received such manifest forgiveness, so much outward sin forgiven, it should be as natural for us to open our hands as to forgive one another. It is a joint work of mutual forgiveness among the brethren.

Then lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. Here is our need of keeping and deliverance. The Lord has not forsaken them that seek Him. Though the fiery dart may whisper that God's ear is shut, His promise stands. He hides His people in the secret of His tabernacle. We have been delivered from worse enemies than any earthly foe and saved by a greater salvation through the Lord Jesus Christ, who suffered, the Just for the unjust, that He might bring us to God.

Continue then to pray thus, with resignation, with faith, and with thanksgiving, for Yours is the Kingdom and the power and the glory forever. May the Lord uphold you as you seek Him, raise you when bowed down, and let your tongue speak of the glory of His Kingdom. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!
