Your prayer about your notebook and getting it to your teacher shows how heavy even a small worry can feel. It is good that you brought it to the Lord, because that is exactly what He invites us to do.
Scripture teaches us not to live in anxious worry. Worry has no value and it does not help solve the problem. Jesus said to take no anxious thought for your life, and that your Father knows what you need. Most of our worry is about what might happen, but He tells us not to worry about tomorrow. Today has enough to care for, and He will go before you and care for what is ahead.
Instead of worry, we are told to pray. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. Rather than staying in fear, you can commit this need to Him with a thankful heart, trusting Him with the outcome. When you do, He promises a peace that passes understanding to guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus.
The Bible also shows us that the natural response to finding what was lost is rejoicing. Jesus told of a shepherd who searched for one lost sheep, and when he found it he carried it home on his shoulders with joy and called his friends to rejoice with him. He said there is joy in heaven over one sinner who repents, because He came to seek and to save that which was lost. A sheep that is lost cannot find its own way home, it needs someone to seek it. In the same way, the Lord cares when we lose something and He cares far more for us who can feel lost and worried.
He hears your simple, honest prayer. Ask Him calmly and clearly to help you find the notebook, thank Him that He cares about the details of your life, and trust Him as you do what you can to look carefully and to speak respectfully to your teacher. If the notebook is found, rejoice and give thanks. If it takes time, let His peace keep you steady while you wait.
May the Lord calm your heart, help you find what you have lost, and teach you through this small trial to trust Him more and to seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, knowing He will care for all you need.
