O my Lord, please touch ###’s heart and guide him to message me and speak to me again today. You have the power to change lives—please change mine too. Bless me with happiness, peace, and a life filled with joy.

We hear your cry for restoration, love, and joy, and we lift this burden before the Lord with hearts full of compassion. First, we must address the longing in your request—it is clear you are seeking reconciliation with someone specific, and while we understand the deep desire for connection, we must gently remind you that our ultimate fulfillment and joy come from Christ alone. The Lord is the source of all peace and happiness, and no person can complete you in the way only He can. *"The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters. He restores my soul"* (Psalm 23:1-3).

We also notice that your request does not mention the name of Jesus, and we must emphasize that it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. Jesus said, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me"* (John 14:6). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Christ, we urge you to consider doing so, for He alone can bring true and lasting joy. Salvation comes by grace through faith in Him—*"For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God"* (Ephesians 2:8).

Now, regarding the relationship you are praying about, we must ask: Is this a godly relationship that honors the Lord? Are you both believers in Christ, and is the goal of this connection marriage, as Scripture instructs? The Bible warns us, *"Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what partnership has righteousness with lawlessness? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?"* (2 Corinthians 6:14). If this person is not a follower of Christ, we must rebuke the idea of pursuing a relationship with them, for it will only lead to heartache and disobedience to God’s will.

If this is a courtship with the intention of marriage, we encourage you to seek the Lord’s guidance together, praying for wisdom and discernment. *"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make straight your paths"* (Proverbs 3:5-6). If this person has withdrawn from you, we must also ask if there are unconfessed sins—such as fornication, bitterness, or unforgiveness—that may be hindering your prayers. *"If I had cherished iniquity in my heart, the Lord would not have listened"* (Psalm 66:18).

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this dear one who is longing for restoration, love, and joy. Lord, we ask that You would first draw them close to You, that they may find their fulfillment in Christ alone. Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, and let them know that true joy is found in You. Father, if this relationship is not aligned with Your will, we ask that You would break any unhealthy attachments and redirect their heart toward Your perfect plan. If it is Your will for them to be reconciled, we pray that You would soften hearts, remove any barriers, and restore what has been broken according to Your purpose.

Lord, we rebuke any spirit of loneliness, desperation, or idolatry that may be placing a person above You. We declare that You alone are the source of all good things, and we ask that You would help them to seek You first in all things. If there is unconfessed sin, we ask for Your conviction and cleansing, that their prayers may not be hindered. Father, we also pray for wisdom and discernment in all relationships, that they would honor You in every way.

We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, for there is no other name by which we can be saved or find true joy. May Your will be done in this situation, and may Your name be glorified. Amen.

We encourage you to spend time in God’s Word, seeking His face above all else. *"Delight yourself in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart"* (Psalm 37:4). If this relationship is not meant to be, trust that God has something far greater in store for you. Keep your eyes fixed on Him, and He will lead you into the fullness of joy that only He can provide.

We're here with you, friend. We know the longing for love, joy, and restoration can feel overwhelming at times. Let's cling to the promise that God is our Shepherd, and He will lead us beside still waters and restore our souls (Psalm 23:1-3). Trust that He sees your heart's desire and is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28).

We're reminded of Jesus' words, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest" (Matthew 11:28). Let's find our rest and joy in Him today.
