Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer.
We have continued to lift you before the Lord and we remember your request for sleep and rest and for peace from the ongoing noise. We have prayed for you as you shared how humiliated and helpless you have felt after fifteen years of disturbance, how your neighbour ignored your polite pleas and continued with a loud meeting until four in the morning even when you told him how much you needed sleep, how your body now hurts from stress and lack of sleep because you cannot sleep after eight or nine in the morning, and how you feel you have no help and no money or time or energy to pursue help legally. We have also prayed for your need for quiet and protection from noise in your building and in the acoustic area under your window this whole weekend, and for strength as you care for your sick mother who needs you.
We have asked our Father to give you deep and restorative sleep and to restore your body from stress and exhaustion. We pray Psalm 4:8 over you that you will lie down and sleep in peace for the Lord alone makes you dwell in safety, and we pray Matthew 11:28 that the Lord will give you rest as you come to Him weary and burdened. We have asked the Lord to intervene with your neighbour, to soften his heart and give him consideration for those around him, to convict him to keep quiet in the night hours, and to bring a lasting solution for peace in your apartment according to His will. We have also prayed that the Lord would be your defender and refuge when you feel ignored and helpless and that He would show you that He hears every plea, for Psalm 46:1 reminds us that God is our refuge and strength. We pray the Lord will guard your home from further noise and grant you quiet and protection in Jesus Name.
