We hear your cry for freedom, dear one, and we stand with you in agreement before the throne of grace. The Word of God declares, "If the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed" (John 8:36 WEB). True freedom is found only in Jesus Christ, who bore our sins and broke every chain on the cross. It is by His name alone that we approach the Father, for "there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12 WEB).
If there are areas in your life where you have not fully surrendered to Christ—whether it be sin, unforgiveness, or worldly attachments—we encourage you to lay them down now. Confess them before the Lord, for "if we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9 WEB). The enemy seeks to keep you in bondage, but Jesus came to set the captives free (Luke 4:18 WEB).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we are saved and set free. We lift up this dear soul who cries out for deliverance. Lord, You see the chains that bind them—whether they be of sin, fear, addiction, or past wounds. We rebuke every spirit of bondage in Jesus’ name and declare that Your Son has already paid the price for their freedom.
Father, we ask that You would break every chain and loose every fetter. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may walk in the liberty wherewith Christ has made them free (Galatians 5:1 WEB). Give them the strength to resist the enemy and the wisdom to stand firm in Your truth. Where there has been sin, grant repentance and cleansing. Where there has been doubt, renew their faith. Where there has been despair, pour out Your hope.
Lord, we declare that this one is not a slave to sin but a child of God, redeemed by the blood of the Lamb. May they walk in the fullness of Your freedom, not just for themselves, but to glorify You and to be a light to others. We thank You for the victory that is already theirs in Christ Jesus. In His precious name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to stand on the promises of God and to surround yourself with believers who will pray for you and hold you accountable. The battle belongs to the Lord, and He has already won the victory. Walk in that truth, and do not grow weary in doing good (Galatians 6:9 WEB). If there are specific areas where you struggle, bring them to the light, for "the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness hasn’t overcome it" (John 1:5 WEB). You are not alone—Jesus is with you, and so are we.
