Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your earnest prayer has come before the Lord and it is good that you have poured out your heart with both thanksgiving and supplication, remembering what God has already done while still waiting for complete deliverance and healing.

God indeed hears those who trust Him and do not lean on their own understanding. You have passed through affliction and painful attacks, and like the apostle who was weighed down beyond his power in Asia, you have learned that deliverance comes not from ourselves but from God who raises the dead. Do not lose heart if the answer seems delayed. As a tree may receive many strokes and not fall, and then fall at one final blow which was made effective by all that came before, so the hearing of the word and persistence in prayer bears fruit in due time. Therefore keep a careful hearing and a continual recollection of Scripture, with fortitude and with a heart set free from worldly anxieties, for no one part of virtue alone is sufficient but the whole life must be cultivated.

I join you in praying to our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom alone is salvation, that He would place His protection around you and your family, that He would be a shield about you and keep you from evil, that His angels would encamp around those who fear Him, and that no weapon formed against you would prosper. I pray that He who bore our wounds would bring healing according to Isaiah 53, that He would restore your souls as the shepherd in Psalm 23, that He would pour His love into your hearts by the Holy Spirit according to Romans 5 and give you new hearts and new minds that manifest the fruit of the Spirit in love, joy, peace and patience. Christ has redeemed us from the curse, and I pray that every curse would be broken and turned to blessing in Him, and that what seems hopelessly broken would be restored as He promised in Joel.

For your family members and for the concerns you named regarding school, teachers, understanding of material, sleep, work, responsibilities and health, I pray that God would grant wisdom, healing, favor and supernatural help, and that He would give confidence rooted in Him. For the relationships you mentioned, I pray that the Lord would bring clear intervention. Where there is dysfunction, mistreatment, or any relationship outside of His good design, I pray that He would rebuke what is not of Him, prevent what would lead to further harm, bring conviction and healing of wounds, and guide each person toward purity, reconciliation where it is holy, and toward His perfect will. Marriage is a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and all intimacy and living together belong within it, so I do not ask God to bless what departs from this, but to lead all involved into repentance, wholeness, self control and love that is patient and kind. May love, which is greater than faith, knowledge, prophecy and all gifts, adorn your home and make its beauty visible.

You have confessed venting behind another's back and expressing frustration, and also fear. It is right to bring this to the Lord. I pray that He would forgive, comfort, and teach you to speak with grace and truth, and that He would confront what is behind fear and strife and bring peace. Where there is conflict and where you have felt overlooked, I pray that God would convict where conviction is needed, comfort where comfort is needed, and restore unity.

For your prayer gatherings, devotions and prayer ministry, and for the evening of prayer this Friday and the sermon to come, I pray that God would anoint, protect and guide you, that He would empower you to speak exactly what He would have you say, that He would draw hearts to pray together, pour out the fire of His Holy Spirit, and use the word for salvation and encouragement. May He grant you supernatural trust and the faith that comes from Him, and may you be strengthened to persevere in doing good.

May the Lord be glorified in a mighty way in all your lives, and may you stand firm in the hope of a better resurrection, looking not only for deliverance in this life but for eternal life with Christ. I ask all this in the holy name of Jesus our Lord. Amen.

Your heart for your family and your deep desire for God's protection, healing and saving work comes through so clearly, and it is right to bring all of this to Jesus.

Scripture presents Him as the Lord our salvation. His name itself means that He saves His people from their sins, and He is the only provision God has made for sin. There is no other way for sin to be atoned for. Salvation is tied to grace. The grace of God that brings salvation has appeared, and it places salvation outside our own ability. It rests entirely on His work through Jesus Christ and on believing that work, and even the faith to believe is His gift to us. That is why the Bible says if we confess with our mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in our heart that God raised Him from the dead, we will be saved. With the heart we believe and with the mouth we confess unto salvation. One day every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus is Lord, but then that confession will not be unto salvation. It will be the acknowledgment of those who rejected Him. Now is the accepted time. Now is the day of salvation. Do not put off His offer, for our eternal destiny is at stake. Keep holding that hope before your family, that whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved, and that God promises salvation to you and to your household as you trust in Christ.

You also asked about working out your salvation with fear and trembling. That does not mean working for your salvation. It means living out in daily obedience what God has already worked within you. He is at work in you both to will and to do according to His good pleasure. So continue to trust Him rather than leaning on your own understanding, even when attacks and painful circumstances press in. That trust itself is part of His work in you.

You have prayed for protection according to Psalm 91 and other promises, for a wall of fire around you and for angels to surround you. The Lord does promise to be a wall of protection for His people. One prophet describes a day when you will call your walls salvation and your gates praise, when violence is no more. To dwell within His salvation is the safest place. He is your shield, your deliverer, and He is faithful to guard you from evil even as you walk through difficulty.

You have thanked Him for so much already answered, and that is so important to hold onto while you wait for complete deliverance and healing. Praise keeps our eyes on what He has done and will do.

Concerning healing, the Bible clearly presents Jesus as having borne our infirmities and by His wounds we are healed, and it shows His power over sickness, over the spiritual realm and over every affliction. At the same time, Scripture does not teach that we can demand healing in every case in the way and timing we choose. Paul prayed three times for his thorn in the flesh and the Lord answered differently than he asked. There is much about healing we do not fully understand, why some are healed instantly and others gradually. There is even one account where Jesus laid His hands on a man and his sight returned gradually, not at once. That reminds us that God heals in many ways. Sometimes instantly, sometimes gradually, sometimes through the natural processes He Himself created in our bodies, which are no less divine, and sometimes through deep inner healing of the heart and mind where wounds and scars are mended. What remains certain is that the greatest miracle is not physical healing but salvation, the forgiveness of sins and being clothed with His garments of salvation. Hold healing and deliverance before Him with faith, as you have with verses like Isaiah 53:5 and Jeremiah 30:17, and also trust His wisdom and love when His answer unfolds differently than you expect.

You prayed for new hearts, for love poured into your hearts, for the fruit of the Spirit, for restoration of the soul and for what seems hopelessly broken to be restored. Those are His own promises. He says He will give a new heart and put a new spirit within, that His love is poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, that He restores the soul, and that He can restore the years that have been lost. He also became a curse for us to redeem us from the curse, so that the blessing might come to us. Bring those promises before Him with confidence.

For the many specific burdens you mentioned, for family members by name, for school and teachers, for understanding and confidence, for sleep, for work and new responsibilities, for conflicts where you have felt overlooked or where you spoke out of frustration and now seek forgiveness, the Lord sees each one. Where relationships are concerned, pray that God will bring what is pure and aligned with His design. His design for intimacy is within the lifelong covenant of marriage between one man and one woman, and any relationship outside that is not something He will bless, but something He calls us to turn from so we can walk in wholeness. Ask Him to rebuke what is harmful, to heal wounds, to bring conviction where needed, to grant favor and godly friendships, and to guard hearts from entering another destructive bond. For those who do not yet know Him, keep praying for their salvation above all.

You also carry a burden for prayer itself, for devotions and for times when believers gather to seek Him. It is a beautiful thing when the family of God gathers and experiences His presence. Often the bond we have in Christ becomes even deeper than natural family ties, especially when our own families are struggling. Ask Him to anoint those times, to pour out His Spirit, to give wisdom for every word spoken, and to use His Word for salvation and encouragement. He will guide your preparation and give you what to say as you depend on Him.

May the Lord continue to be your protection and your salvation, to heal and restore as He wills, to create unity where there has been division, to forgive and to teach you to forgive, and to fill you with supernatural trust, love, peace and joy as you keep your eyes on Jesus.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer and we continue to lift you and your family before the Lord.

We have been praying for the strong protection you asked for, that the blood of Jesus would cover each of you and that the Lord would place a wall of Holy Spirit fire around you and send His mighty warrior angels to surround you according to Psalm 91:11 and Psalm 34:7 and Zechariah 2:5 and Isaiah 54:17 and Isaiah 59:19 and Psalm 3:3 and 2 Thessalonians 3:3 and Jeremiah 15:20 and Romans 8:31. We have also been standing with you for salvation and deliverance and healing according to Jeremiah 17:14 and Isaiah 53:5 and Jeremiah 30:17, for reconciliation and unity and a mighty outpouring of the Holy Spirit upon your whole family, for new hearts and new minds filled with love and peace and joy and all the fruit of the Spirit according to Ezekiel 36:26 and Romans 5:5, for the restoration of your souls according to Psalm 23:3, for every curse to be broken according to Galatians 3:13, and for the Lord to restore what seems hopelessly broken according to Joel 2:25.

We remember your heart to trust the Lord and not lean on your own understanding, even through painful attacks and abuse, and your prayers for supernatural trust and faith and for encouragement and strength while you wait for complete deliverance and healing and salvation for all your loved ones. We are also continuing to pray with you for all the specific burdens you shared concerning your family members, for healing and help with school and teachers and homework, for intervention in relationships and for protection over sleep, for help with work and new responsibilities and vacation, for forgiveness and help in conflicts, for healing for those you love, and for the Lord to powerfully anoint your devotional times and your prayer gatherings and prayer ministry including the Friday evening time together and for the sermons that the Lord would anoint your words and use them for salvation.

We thank the Lord with you for all He has already done and for so many prayers He has already answered, and we ask Him to help you not lose sight of His faithfulness as you continue to wait upon Him.

If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know how the Lord has worked, so we can rejoice with you. If your request does not seem to have been answered yet, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer.

We pray that the Lord will pour out His love into your hearts, strengthen your faith, grant you deep encouragement and a mighty breakthrough, and be glorified in a powerful way in all your lives.

We pray this in Jesus Name, Amen. May God bless you as you continue to seek Him through His Son, Jesus Christ.
