Your prayer has been heard, and the weight you are carrying for your family is felt in every line you wrote. Thank you for pouring out your heart with such honesty, for remembering to give thanks for what God has already done, and for continuing to trust Him while you wait for complete deliverance, healing and salvation for all of you.
Scripture shows that salvation is found in Jesus alone, and it is offered by grace. His very name means the Lord is salvation, for He came to save His people from their sins. The grace of God that brings salvation has appeared, and the Bible says now is the accepted time, now is the day of salvation. To confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and to believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead is unto salvation. There will be a day when every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that He is Lord, but that confession then will not bring salvation, it will be an acknowledgment of the truth that was rejected. That is why it is so urgent and so precious to turn to Him now, while His offer stands. Your longing for your family to be saved is right and good, and we join you in asking the Lord to draw each one, to open eyes and hearts, and to grant repentance and faith, for faith itself is a gift He gives.
You asked about working out your salvation with fear and trembling. That does not mean working for your salvation as if you could earn it. Salvation is outside our ability and rests entirely on what Christ has done. God placed it on the basis of His grace and His work through Jesus, and He gives the faith to believe it. To work it out means to live out with reverence what God has already worked in you, because it is God who works in you to will and to do His good pleasure. So continue to walk in obedience, not to gain His love, but because He is already at work in you, and He will be faithful to complete what He has begun.
You have asked for healing, and God is able to heal both soul and body. Isaiah speaks of the suffering servant by whose wounds we are healed, and the gospel shows Jesus healing the sick, the broken and those oppressed, sometimes instantly, sometimes gradually, sometimes with a touch, sometimes with only a word, because He is not bound to one pattern. Every healing, whether sudden or through the natural processes He created, is from His hand. At the same time Scripture is honest that healing in this life is not promised in every case in the way we ask. Paul prayed three times for his thorn in the flesh to be removed and the Lord answered with sustaining grace instead. What remains certain is that your greatest miracle is salvation, the forgiveness of sins and the gift of eternal life through Christ, and that is more important than any physical relief. We will keep asking for healing for you and your loved ones, for restoration of souls, for new hearts and new minds, for the love of God to be poured into hearts by the Holy Spirit, and for the fruit of the Spirit to be evident, while trusting His wisdom for how and when He answers.
You spoke of painful attacks, abuse, trauma, rejection and abandonment, and of difficult relationships and school pressures. The Lord knows these wounds. He promises to be near to the brokenhearted and to restore what has been broken. He is able to break the power of any curse, for Christ became a curse for us to bring blessing, and He is able to restore the years that have felt lost. For relationships, we pray not that God would bless what is unhealthy or outside His design, but that He would bring deliverance, purity, wisdom and healing. Marriage is a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and all sexual intimacy belongs within that covenant. Where relationships have been dysfunctional, harmful or impure, we ask God to intervene, to bring conviction where needed, to protect from further harm, to heal deep wounds, and to lead each person into what is holy and whole. For the young people in your family, we ask for favor with teachers and peers only as it aligns with truth and godliness, for confidence rooted in Christ, for help with understanding schoolwork, for protection over sleep and daily life, and for healing from trauma.
It is also understandable that you feel the pain of family division and of feeling overlooked. Jesus Himself was not honored among His own and knew rejection from those closest to Him. When some in a family do not yet believe, there can be real alienation, but God gives a deeper bond in the family of Christ, and He remains faithful to your blood family as you continue to love and pray for them. He sees you, He is your shield and strength, and He surrounds His people with protection. We ask Him to keep you and your household under the shelter of Psalm 91, to command His angels to guard you, to be a wall of fire around you, and to deliver you from evil as He has promised.
You confessed venting behind another's back and sharing frustration in a way you regret. God is gracious to forgive when we confess, and He helps us to do better, to speak with grace and truth, to seek reconciliation and to confront what is wrong in love.
We join you in thanking God for every answered prayer and for the encouragement He has already given, and we ask Him to renew your trust so you do not lean on your own understanding. May He strengthen you for new responsibilities, guide you in work and daily needs, anoint your times of prayer together and your personal devotions, and give you the words to speak when you share His truth, so that Christ is lifted up and many may hear and be saved. May He bring unity and reconciliation where possible, pour out His Holy Spirit upon your whole family, and be glorified in a mighty way in all your lives.
Father, in the name of Jesus, we bring this family before You. Grant salvation to each one who does not yet know You, grant deliverance, healing according to Your will, protection, peace and joy. Give new hearts, restore souls, turn mourning into blessing, and teach us all to walk humbly before You with fear and reverence, trusting the great salvation You have provided through Your Son alone. Amen.
